Thanks you for posting this video.🙂 I would definitely try this pedicure foot spa at home. I usually sit on the bathroom counter and soak my feet in the sink.😆 At least I can keep the water nice and warm at all times.🙂 I have been searching for these foot masks lately without luck. Walmart used to carry a lot of them but I couldn't find even one last night. I don't live near the city so I purchase some products online. Oh! I can't find the link for this foot spa. I'll watch the video again and carefully listen if You mention the brand name.🙂
To help lessen dry cracked feet be sure you are getting enough B3 and omega 3 oils in your diet. Cut out corn & vegetable oils, instead use olive, organic coconut,r avocado oils when frying your foods. Plus cut down or cut out sugar. Anything with high fructose corn syrup is awful and contributes to foot problems, from pain in foot heels to include the whole bottom of feet when walking.
Warning: If you're a type 2 diabetic DO NOT use a metal foot scraper like was shown here. It can easily cut you and cause an infection that may lead to a serious foot emergency. Just use lots of lotion, vaseline, or other moisturizer on your feet daily and VERY LIGHTLY use a pumice stone on dry areas. Diabetics ALWAYS have to watch their feet for signs of infection and the LAST thing you want to do is use something like a metal grater that can easily cut the skin. Take care!
I had gestational with my last and my feet where the first sign in my pregnancy, my feet are getting weird again and I feel off thanks for this comment! Im gonna start monitoring my levels again!
Peppermint Castile soap will do this without soaking. I keep a bottle in the shower with pumice (the really airy ones they use at the salon) and every few days or so I put a little Castile on the pumice and go town for about 15 seconds per foot while in the shower and my feet never get build of dead skin anymore.
I'm a man who takes care of his feet. For years I have simply applied lotion on my feet and put on socks before bed. My skin has stayed smooth for the 20! years I've been doing this. I don't do this every night, just about 3 days a week. Also I've found that wearing slides too much dries out your feet and leads to rough skin, so throwing on some running shoes and getting active helps a lot.
I'm sure you shower or take a bath every day too.. The reason peoples feet get like that is because they're not washing them every day....that's the only reason feet get like that on the bottom.
@@suzanne1430merely letting the water run over your feet won’t remove dead skin. It requires the friction of things like a Luffa or a pumice stone and not everyone can reach their feet. Implying that folks aren’t bathing is rude.
Hey. From experience, I've learned that the grater keeps making excess skin. The more you use it, the more you're gonna need it. I stopped using it and started using a mild pumice stone. I also apply a homemade shea butter mix to feet and wear socks for awhile OR sleep in them to allow butter to melt into skin. Feet are smooth again. Evn if you don't use butter, plzzz stop using the grater.🥰
That grater at the nail salon makes your feet hard. It will take the dead skin off while you’re getting your feet done, but your feet will start to feel hard after a few days & look horrible with dead skin & hardness as long as you let the pedicurist keep removing dead skin with that grater.
This is better than how the people in the shops do it. I had an argument with one employee about how rough my feet felt after paying them $75. It was the truth. They did the hot wax and some other scrub. When I tried your method I was soooo satisfied. And I didn't have to wait for a chair. I had my own, without the massager😒. Thanks for informing us.
I'm a nail tech and I always give my client home remedies to use because I don't want to scrap their feet because it makes it worse I've gone to a shop for a pedicure and my feet were hard after and from my experience I don't recommend letting them scrap their feet just do a home remedy
I tried this. It worked really well getting dry flaky skin off my feet and there was some discolored skin that came away also. I plan to continue this routine. Thank you.
I stopped getting pedicures and do my own, but I do pay for a foot spa massage session , occasionally, which is the best part of a pedicure, anyway. 30 min of massage on my feet? Yes please!
You should never use a metal cheese grater on your feet. It makes the skin grow back harder and poses a great risk of cuts and possible infection. The pumice stone or sponge is a preferable choice. Taught in cosmetology schools
This is absolutely correct do you know how many nail technicians or Cosmetology individuals try to argue with me about this smh. Ma'am I'm the full nail instructor how dare you 🙄🤷🏾♀️😂
Oh my goodness . I'm a 67 year-old woman and I didn't know anything about using peroxide on my feet. I had a big callus on one side of my foot that been there the years and I never could completely get rid of. All I did was get some warm water holder peroxide in there and soak my feet for 15 minute. I use a foot scraper. Then Iris soak my foot for five more minutes and finish off using the foot scraper. That callous is now ninety to ninety-five percent. Just want to say thank you thank you 😊.
@janniehayes7175 what do you mean ? Not all older ppl are frail ,my mom is 72 and she still does her own feet ,hair, work out and anything else she wants to do ,it all about how well you take take of yourself. You must have some old unhealthy ppl running around your house 😂😂
@@janniehayes7175I'm way too old to have laughed at this.lol I'm 34 butI hope I never lose the sense of knowing and understanding sarcasm and teenage passive aggressiveness
Also try soaking your feet in vinegar and warm water for 30 minutes. Then use your professional foot file and watch how easily the flakes comes off. Don’t forget to moisturize your feet. I also like to moisturize my after doing this process by mashing up a over ripe banana, applying to your feet leave on for 20-30 minutes, then wipe off with damp towel, your feet will be smooth and soft. Using bananas is a little messy, just make sure you use a towel to put under your feet, you will love the results
I have been doing foot reflexology since I was 22/23 and it is an added benefit health and relaxation wise. As the foot corresponds to various parts of the body, it helps especially during the last days of my cycle. I treat myself once a month sometimes twice a month when really stressed. I try to fast a few days prior and the day of, drink only water and green tea to help my body remove the toxins that have been massaged out and will later be excreted.
I also recommend adding 1 tsp EVOO or Jojoba oil to the water. Then after drying apply real African shea butter or Vaseline mixed with your favorite lotion to the feet.
@@latishalewis2006make sure to apply a moisturizer/lotion to you feet and really rub it in before applying the Vaseline. Vaseline cannot absorb into you skin. It is used as a barrier to keep in what you applied first.
As a licensed nail technician I would recommend just using a pumice stone in a circular motion to continue to make sure it’s not scratches on the bottom
Why is it that my Black sisters Always know what is best for the skin? Loveee it! Thank you for the excellent video and for your time! Stay blessed Sis!
Fantastic mixture, It got rid of my mild athlete's foot in about three days. The Listerine alone was initially meant to be used as surgical cleaner and as a floor cleaner. Works wonders on the feet.
@@kristeeycarter9719just wing it. Lol. That’s what I do. Your spirit will know😅. Soak for at least 20 to 30 min. The skin def comes off. It’s gross but cool.
Vicks or any brand vapor rub is also good for moisturizing ur feet and helps with fungus too. Before bed after a shower/bath tub the Vicks on ur feet put on socks bro seal it n. Also Vicks on ur toenails helps with yellowing and fungus.
All I have to say is THANK YOU!❤I had my feet looking excellent BUT I was using metal instruments and I mean using them faithfully!Even drew a little blood sometimes...But,I had to keep them done every week because the skin always grew right back thick and hard...This method here have my feet so soft and beautiful I wished I would have started this year's ago!I won't ever let metal touch my feet again! This method even got rid of my calluses...I had one on each foot but now they're gone and I don't have to make this an every week routine because it lasts but I make sure that it's a part of my routine daily...I soak for 20/30 minutes and use a soft pumice...You know the sponge like pumice and it pulls so much of that dead skin off and it feels amazing!I use a little Vaseline or Bag Balm afterwards and even after every bath and I'm all set!(No socks because I hate sleeping in socks) Keep my toenails done and it's a wrap... I've learned that after using the metal scraping away skin the first reaction is that the skin is going to rejuvenate itself and grow back fast and thicker and that's not what we want at all!Hope this helps someone because this technique is the bomb...(Don't have a foot tub don't worry...Use a pail/bucket and work your magic!)
I agree, the grater seems harsh. I use an emory board, buy them at the dollar tree, while feet are dry just lightly sand your dry areas off, it is kind of what would happen if you were walking in sand, much gentler and baby smooth feet. Then shower, soak or wash feet and moisturize.
Try greasing your feet with Vaseline after u do yo spa thing. Vaseline keeps them smooth for a long time afterwards if u consistent w/ it. 2-3 x’s a week should be enough. No more than 4days. Feet will be real soft. And if u don’t like greasy feet in your bed put on some socks and leave your feet from under the cover.
Exactly what I do. Coworkers be like don’t use Vaseline, but nawl I said Vaseline is the truth and it sets my feet free erday ernight😉😂. Feet always feel sofTUH!!
I am going to give this a try! I have had extremely rough thick skin on the bottom of my feet for DECADES! I have informed my primary doctors, been to several podiatrists and tried all the suggestions (pumice stones, diamond crystal foot files, slathering my feet in Vaseline or other gels/creams/lotions/oils before bedtime while wearing lined socks, etc.) with no luck. My feet are silky smooth immediately following a pedicure but the thick, scaly skin always returns within a week or two. I hate the idea of using the cheese grater but I actually have no choice. My case is a bit extreme. Thanks for sharing!
You may have some sort of skin condition similar to dandruff on the scalp. How about soaking your feet in selsun blue plus peroxide, plus gold Listerine? This should kill any microorganisms that are causing your body to overproduce skin cells on your feet. Also, how do you walk around your house? Do you go barefoot, wear slippers or socks? Sometimes if you go barefoot you pick back up the microorganisms that could be lurking on your floors. You may want to sterilize your floors with a good cleaning of bleach, or other thorough cleaner appropriate for the surface. If you have old shoes this could be a problem, too.
I soak my feet in lemon water and a tea tree oil soap for 30mins to a hour. When I pull them out the skin also just but falling off.I use the same stone but it’s much softer than the one you use.I stared out using the one you were using. Now when I’m finished with that I have this ointment I made that I put on my feet then I wrap them in a cling warp for 30mins.The ointment I use is some Dollar tree Vaseline, real bee honey from a local friend of mine real aloe, olive oil,tea tree oil and a fungus fighting oil that I forget the name of.But when I’m finished I have a pair of NEW FEET😭😂🤣when I tell you it really feels and looks like I have a new pair of feet!!!
This is actually my first time watching one of your videos so I am not sure if you know this "hack" or have tried it but after your shower/bath rub some Vicks Vapor Rub on the bottom of your feet (and I usually put socks on afterwards) that helps keep them soft and kills off bacteria, helps with athlete's foot, it also calms neuropathic pain and distress in feet and legs. I am definitely going to try this though. I love my feet looking all nice and pretty.
Soak in Apple Cidar Vinegar, it has more beneficial properties. Also I scrape most of dead skin prior to soaking n midway it's much better results. Moisture well afterwards n daily to maintain
Those graders and rocks are what caused my skin on the bottom of my feet to be rough. That grader is what actually damaged my skin. I must’ve over used it incorrectly. Now, I only moistorize with heavy oils, lotions, and creams (e.g. shea butter, Lubriderm, Eucerin, Vaseline to seal the moisture and wear socks 🧦 each night. My skin is slowly becoming smoother again naturally. There are some scar tissue that remains. However, I recommend to not use those razors, graders, etc. especially if you don’t know what you are doing. 👍💯
As I liscenced nail tech I would suggest you double check you don’t have athletes foot with a medical professional . That patchy look like thrush is like fungus. However peroxide can kill the fungus overtime. Also use a sanding rasp not a cheese grader because it puts grooves in your skin causing you to have rougher feet. People often mistake dry feet to just natural roughness but allot of the time it’s fungus. An over the counter cream would be ideal for after this peroxide pedicure. I hope this helps.
Don’t use the cheese grater, it feels good immediately after but it is counterproductive to KEEPING SOFT FEET. What it does is causes your body to create more callus to protect your feet from the scrapes
@nikkoethomas7561 you can use a pumice stone or pumice sponge. If mine is built up bad, it takes a few days in a row for the pumice to get the job done. But it's worth being patient so I'm not causing more issues. I just use the pumice right after my shower, then moisturize right away.
I wash the bottoms of my feet with antibacterial soap, such as yellow dial, and use pumice. After drying of feet, rub vaseline on the bottoms of feet. Put socks on to preserve moisture . Vaseline works well with minor cuts and healing of exes skin healing. Vaseline is good to have around for any minor cut or scrap. It's also good for dry skin.
Just a suggestion: The blade against the skin is no good. It becomes a neverending cycle. If you haven't already, please consider a pumice stone instead. Then compare the results. On another note nice video!!!
Agree. When I allow the people to use the cheese grater during pedicure, I notice excess skin comes back. When I tell them don't use that, only pumice, more than one have said "you're smart" to me. They know it keeps you coming back and it's not good for your feet.
I’m glad you found something that works for you. But Let me put you on. My goal is not to just get rid of dead skin, but also prolong the next time you need to scrub or receive dead skin on the bottom of your feet. 1) However you soak your feet (bath, shower, nail salon), pay attention to the temperature of the water. As we age, hot water is starting to break down the softness of our skin, especially our feet. ( my local nail salon, purposely soaks peoples feet in hot water). 2. Be careful with that pumice stone, yes you are scraping dead skin but some of the integrity of the healthy skin is being compromised. 3. I found this turmeric Pumice Sponge/ NOT STONE that gently scratches the surface of the skin leaving the healthy skin untouched. I recommend not removing all the dead skin at once, but using the pumice sponge every 3 to 4 days, removing more and more of the dead skin, but allowing the days in between for the healthy skin to grow back. 4. After every shower, I just put Vaseline and then a pair of socks on. (I see in the comments that Vaseline is not a moisturizer but a sealant, but it really works). I’ve used the turmeric sponge every 3/4 days , then once a week, then once every two weeks then once a month. I’m lazy so my goal was to prolong the need of reoccurring dead skin and for me to continuously scrub the bottom of my feet. It’s been two months since I’ve touched my turmeric pumice sponge. ( I love hot showers, I’m trying to cool it down more lol). Next time I will try to peroxide, but if you implement the sponge, you won’t need that scrape tool before the stone.
WOW the final result. Impressive. I love a good home pedicure. Tired of paying for shabby pedicures and foot care at non-hygienic nail salons. I am on a mission to do majority of my mani pedi services myself and htis DEFINITELY helped. Thank you. I didn't even know those foot soaking machines were around. Awesome!
Heavy on the non-hygenic!! Used to get my feet and hands done consistently until i turned up with a deep rooted toenail fungus and my toenail fell out literally from the root. It was 8 years before I got my nails professionally done again and it was only cuz I was in a wedding.
Been using this before I saw this video , I would use a shower cap n big rubber bands , use baby Vaseline, rub over the whole foot , place the shower cap over the foot then pour the peroxide in it, take rubber band place it around your ankle to hold bag n place n put a sock over it n sleep with it on over night , great dexoic n repeat until dead skin is gone , feet brand new , I did it 4 times in a row n all the dead skin fail off n I use Coconut oil and vitamin e to keep healthy skin from drying out. Dead skin only occurs on the foot due to the area being Dehydrated
@SashieETV I think you'll really like it. Afterwards, I dry my feet, lather on some shea butter, wrap it up in plastic cling wrap, and sleep with thick socks on 😊
I just use a sea salt soak. It removes that dead rat smell and solves your sweaty feet. I do this weekly for a month then twice a month. On the third week you will already notice the big change aside from those cracked skin. Give your feet a good scrub all over and remove all those dirt and dead skin that also contribute bad odor. This also give you a smooth texture especially applying a foot moisturizing lotion.
Thanks for the video. I get a great result soaking in hot water and baby shampoo in my foot bath, but I'll try adding vinegar in my foot bath next time. There is some really helpful advice in the comments here also. I'm buying Peppermint Castile soap and an airy pumice stone!
I use hydrogen peroxide to get rid of stains. Old stains, blood stains, mystery stains… just spray some of the stuff on it and let it sit. No scrubbing needed. Been working on reviving my carpet. It works.
After a hard day at work , I soak my feet with the Epsom salts & peppermint oil then I like to rub Vicks vapor rub all over my feet, in between my toes, I put on my thick socks have a cup of tea and relax. Feels amazing.
I do the same thing. I practice BJJ and having nice feet is crucial so I do overkill that technique to keep my feet looking good. Vicks is the bomb for having some soft baby feet.
Vicks is made with a petroleum byproduct. Skin absorbs everything you apply to it, so Vicks & other products with petroleum ingredients shouldn't be applied.
OMGosh ! I went immediately and added a cup or so of HP , and I am AMAZED at the results... You gotta try it for yourself . So glad I did ! ☺️👍 ( i was already soaking my poor widdle feeet ☺️)
I do my feet up like in the bible. Just wash and then rub oils on them. So far so good. Thank you jeezus 😁👍 I like your idea as well. I dont have one of them foot spa machines though. I got a square mop bucket though. I usually use peroxide as mouth wash but ill try it on my feet as well. Thanks and god bless 😁👍
The Amber/ brown Listerine was used to clean surgical facilities and used to sanitize floors, it's so much stronger than the blue and it doesn't contain any artificial sweeteners. Mix the Amber/ brown Listerine with unfiltered Apple cider , it does wonders for your feet. Kills athletes foot fungus too.
@jessicajones8872 Truthfully, I can't tell. When I'm done, I put lotion on my feet. Everything you do in your video, I do the same, scrubbing it to get the dead skin off.
I would skip the metal scraper and go straight to the pumice stone. I have learned that the pumice stone works best for me when my feet are wet. I use that on my feet and it takes off any dead skin and makes my feet so soft and smooth.
Wow Sasha! Didn't know hydrogen peroxide did that! I'm going to use it from now on, before going to the nail salon! I can save some money by not having them use the callous remover gel! Thanks a lot & keep it going!
Wet the pumice stone, use it a couple times a week and you won’t have to use the grater. If you have more severe dryness, use the grater, go to pumice, then buff with the buffer side, then use lotion mixed in with a tiny bit of vitamin E oil and a tiny bit of Vaseline/petroleum. Mix it up in the palm of your hand and be generous. Put on socks that are made for moisturizing. You’ll have very nice feet all the time!
Vicks Vapo is amazing. Cover our fett and put in a large plastic bag and put socks on to keep bag in place. In an hr wash off in tub with dish soap. Then wash with what ever u wash ur body with. Towel dry and ur feet are soft and no dry skin left at all.
Apple Cider vinegar and Listerine works wonders on removing dead skin and it literally just comes right off as you rub it with the towel or use a plastic butter knife, you'll love it
At night I add coconut oil and a drop of tea tree to my feet as needed and it helped moisturize my feet. They are soft and smooth now. Plus both oils fight against foit fungus and are great for skin
I use a sanding block from the Dollar Tree after a soak and apply coconut oil after. Works so well that I threw out all my other heel buffers. Got the idea from my sister who is a professional and uses a pedicure file with disposable sand paper straps of different grits.
To keep up the skin looking great use the jar cream form of cetaphil for dry skin...will NOT evaporate or dry off the skin...cetaphil is a great long lasting moisturizer.
Wow. I used H2O2 last week for the first time and then i had my wife use a decallousing scraper that was wonderful. I laid face down on a cot outside while she wailed away on that scraping tool. I screamed in delight!
Lastly make sure that you don't have a bacterial infection like from streptococcus. I developed thickening on my hands and feet only and it turned into terrible cracking that lasts for months. I used colloidal silver internally with good results.
Okay got to try. Somebody with real foot problems. Love it. Read some of the other comments good advice. 👍 I will have to cut out sugar though. 😮 I am please with watching the video. Need to buy the foot spa asap.
Just soaking in warm water works too.. I take a warm bath and remove the dead dry skin from my feet in the bath. i think hydrogen peroxide isn't a good idea if you genuinely have dry skin... it'll just dry it out more. if you do this you need to chase it with a good lotion!
Great video! I would like to add to cut back on cracked dry feet adding in lots of high water content foods, lots of people think drinking lots of water hydrated the body however one actually flushed out a lot of electrolytes the body needs. So getting hydrated from your food is most beneficial. Also adding castor oil after soaking to this regimen will do more for the body internally and externally, better than any other creams and positions. Aloha Blessings 🌺🙏😎
Use amlactin a couple times a week and dont pumice. After doing this for a month my feet have been smooth ever since after years of being cracked due to the pumice when I would get pedicures
I use just enough Vaseline petroleum jelly on the bottom of my feet year round, and I put socks on. My feet stay soft and smooth on the bottom year round. My mother and grandmother did that. It works. Cocoa butter petroleum jelly is good as well. I wear pantyhose a lot and being consistent with putting that petroleum jelly on the bottom of my feet year round prevents my feet from getting rough and making holes in my pantyhose.
My feet used to look exactly like that. I smear an ample amount of organic shea butter under my feet, wear my socks, shoes and go about my daily routines. Was amazed to find all the flakes gone on day 3. My son used to tease me to go to the carpentry shop to get my soles planed and was amused by the results from shea butter use.
I'm glad ppl commented this cuz I was totally bout to go to Walmart in search for that thing. I already have a pomice, so it would have been unnecessary
I use Earth Therapeutics Foot Repair Balm, it sinks deep into skin to heal and hydrate. I use it in the mornings and especially after a shower, I massage in and put on a pair of their moisturizing socks until it’s time for bed.
I simply rub mine using a cotton pad with that pink cuticle remover or micellar cleanser and put petroleum jelly daily. they peel gently and none damaging
I love in Arizona so there are a lot of crusty feet around. I put lotion on my feet like a mask throw a sock on and put plastic wrap over it while I sleep. It prevents crusty feet
You did a great job on your feet. Very nice result. I think you can get the same result with what I use which is white vinegar instead of the hydrogen peroxide. It has the same properties but for some people may work even better. If you give that a try let us know how it works.
I dont know how this showed up on my feed either?😂 But this was great content ..plus all the extra tips from everyone...i really jotted down everything. Thanks.
Try using O'Keefes Working Hands for seriously dry skin. This stuff is amazing and I'm a lifelong construction worker with beat up hands. (Works great on feet too)
One word: Vaseline! Years ago I saw my son's Gm soaking and cutting it off her feet and I thought I never want that to be me!! And a friend told me to use Vaseline and I have ever since and using the grater and pumice would tear my skin bc I don't have that, my feet look and feel like they did as a child and my son is 31 now!
I added to my pedicure warm water a bit of Castile soap, equal amounts of vinegar & hydrogen peroxide..Before doing this formula I use to just add to d water soap&vinegar before doing this I wld dry scrub my feet with d foot scraper..& file or Dremel the tops my toe nails to open the pores up..that was all I need to get baby soft feet..then I started to add d hydrogen peroxide, it whiten my toenails, adding vinegar along with everything else it’s d very best formula on resolving dried crack feet n fungus under n around d toe nails..scrubbing w/d pumice stone in between d soaking n using a orange stick to clean under d toe nails is good too😊
I don't grate, pumice, or use a foot smoother. Years ago, I stopped allowing folks at the nail salon and spa to stop scraping my feet with tools because that skin would come back caked up and white. I simply exfoliate my entire body in the shower every week or week and a half for a glow, which includes the feet with a Morrocan bath mitten. I proceed to touch the bottom of my feet on the way out for a check, and then I proceed to moisturize my feet with shea butter. THE YELLOW ONE. Keep doing that consistently on the daily. You will have minimal to zero scrubbing. You have to be patient.
Intake of food is a sign of what is happening with your organs...❤You are cared for this way. Sugar causes dead skin Salt increases swelling Pumice is nice, and I got a product I like to send you.
I tried tonight on myself & it worked so well I did it to my husband! I bought the pedicure tub too. I did use a Steele grater and a callus remover gel and my heels look like they never have EVER! TY

Thanks for the info, especially the advice about sugar😊
High Fructose Corn Syrup is banned in some countries I wish they ban it in the U.S. cause it's bad for you
Thank you for that information.
Grateful for this tip.
Be careful of pain when you walk checked your sugar levels like diabetes

Vicks vapor rub? Really? Please elaborate, sounds interesting. 😊
Thanks for this tip. Excited to try!
Thanks for sharing where can I purchase the peppermint Castile soap.
Where do you get the soap from ?
Target has the soap & I think walmart does too! (For those asking) ❤
And rite aid has it as well. Rite aid has mini’s in their travel section too
I'm a man who takes care of his feet.
To Suzanne1430: That's not only an unnecessarily unkind thing to say it's also a blatant lie.
That was such an uneducated response. I bathe every day sometimes twice a day and still have issue with dry feet try again.
@@suzanne1430merely letting the water run over your feet won’t remove dead skin. It requires the friction of things like a Luffa or a pumice stone and not everyone can reach their feet. Implying that folks aren’t bathing is rude.
Wearing slides definitely cause issues, for sure. I just can’t do the sock thing while going to bed. I have to figure something out.
It will take the dead skin off while you’re getting your feet done, but

This is better than how the people in the shops do it. I had an argument with one employee about how rough my feet felt after paying them $75. It was the truth. They did the hot wax and some other scrub. When I tried your method I was soooo satisfied. And I didn't have to wait for a chair. I had my own, without the massager😒. Thanks for informing us.
Just get a foot mask the old dry skin will peel off on its own.

You should never use a metal cheese grater on your feet. It makes the skin grow back harder and poses a great risk of cuts and possible infection. The pumice stone or sponge is a preferable choice. Taught in cosmetology schools

Oh my goodness . I'm a 67 year-old woman and I didn't know anything about using peroxide on my feet.

@@queenempress2541 Clearly, diluted vinegar is what is implied, not straight vinegar.

The foot grater will eventually cause nerve damage. It isn't supposed to be used in spas BUT some still use them.
I agree, the grater seems harsh. I use an emory board, buy them at the dollar tree, while feet are dry just lightly sand your dry areas off, it is kind of what would happen if you were walking in sand, much gentler and baby smooth feet. Then shower, soak or wash feet and moisturize.
It’s actually illegal in some states
@Kendra Newton wow really?
I can believe this. I bought a ped egg, and I find it a lil painful to use.
I've seen a couple places use a whole kitchen cheese grater on people's feet. 😳

Try ACV Apple cider vinegar it works wonders
Could be a fungus or a condition. I’d check with a doctor.
Vitamin A and omega 3 deficiency can lead to excessive calluses and cracking.

I found a simple spray on oil at dollar tree and stopped scraping my feet and no longer have issues.
You must have really chiseled those babies down lol
@@Heidi-Beth I sure did..ignorantly! 🤦🏾♀️🤣
Wow, I had no idea? Thanks for sharing!!
Well what can we use instead? If i go to long the callouses get super thick and the grater is the only thing that can take it off
@nikkoethomas7561 you can use a pumice stone or pumice sponge.
A and D ointment is good also good to apply and then put socks on. Will make your skin feel so much better.
Can you share where you got the turmeric pumice sponge please?
Thanks for the tip on the tumeric pumice sponge. I'd never heard of that before.

Dead skin only occurs on the foot due to the area being Dehydrated

It really works y'all, like seriously. I've been using it for almost a year on my feet. along with other stuff in my feet water.
Epsom salt works really well but my feet come back dry and cracked. Going to try this. Never had any type of problem until my first pedicure.

Is there a specific kind of mouth wash you should use
I've used Apple cider vinegar, the brown listerine and water for a foot soak and the skin comes off so easily..
I wonder if any of you’ve tried exfoliating rags/washcloths. Also be careful of the foot grater as it puts tiny cuts into the foot.
I don't like the feet grader(if that's what it is called). I believe it makes the skin grow back tougher.
Yup! Because your feet think it is a sore what do you use on your feet?
I use a sanding block from the Dollar Tree after a soak and apply coconut oil after. Works so well that I threw out all my other heel buffers. Got the idea from my sister who is a professional and uses a pedicure file with disposable sand paper straps of different grits.
Yes I experienced this. It was worse than before I used it.

Thanks for the idea with hydrogen peroxide I shall be doing this. Yes I do love this type of content.
Yayy. Thanks for watching. ❤
Be careful with the foot grader, it can also make your feet dryer and it removes the thick skin which protects your feet from bacteria/fungus.
I'm glad ppl commented this cuz I was totally bout to go to Walmart in search for that thing. I already have a pomice, so it would have been unnecessary

How much peroxide did u use??
Small ting but definitely works
I agree. Shea butter will eventually heal you feet, but you have to be consistent and patient.
Hi. Where do you get your shea butter? Do you order it online?
Intake of food is a sign of what is happening with your organs...❤You are cared for this way.

I tried tonight on myself & it worked so well I did it to my husband! I bought the pedicure tub too. I did use a Steele grater and a callus remover gel and my heels look like they never have EVER! TY
I'm getting me one of those foot spa's today!
What’s the name of the foot spa
