To be honest, aging into a very old age can be painful, debilitating and undignified. I'm glad Christine shortened her demise and left gracefully. I feel very different about death these days. All I feel is deep gratitude for what she is leaving behind. A wealth of musical artistry! And she was a great musical role model for women. Travel Well!

Growing up Stevie was always everyone's favorite but Christie was ALWAYS my gal in Fleetwood Mac. RIP Christie and thanks for all the memories. We lost a legend today.
When I was 7 years old I became a Fleetwood Mac fan and everyone would say to me "Oh you love Stevie Nicks, do you?" because she was the star vehicle, the entertainer, and the visible one out front; and all love and respect to Stevie who is a great artist and songwriter, but I would say "no, I like Christine" and people would look at me like that was unusual or something. So sad that Christine McVie was such a rock to Fleetwood Mac and with a God-given talent that made the band great. She and Lindsey Buckingham were beautiful together. Such a loss for music at its finest. Christine left us with music that exposed her soul. Thank you to one of music's greats of our time.
Agreed- although Stevie Nicks came to be considered the ‘face’ of the band in later years, Christine McVie was just as much responsible for shaping the sound of the band.
Stevie Nicks may have had emotional power. But Christine was the soul of the group. She had the voice of an angel. Songbird was a towering tribute to her sensitivity and voice.

As he says, Fleetwood Mac were always greater than the sun of it’s parts. A unique band, and I’m glad to hear this young man says he’s been a fan for the last decade. I’ve been a fan for over fifty years, (I am quite old) but the bedrock of the rhythm section, combined with the American couple gave such a span for Christine McVie. Sorry to write this, but I am so sad that this lady has passed. Despite what young people are taught in schools, media, and by political opportunists, this lady flourished with her talent, didn’t need special considerations, and stayed a refined English rose with no effort required from her. Definitely one of my favorite female singers. Chrissie McVie, you're the best.
Couldn’t have said it better myself!
Learn her name.
Rest In Peace wonderful woman. An inspiration to a generation of people, women, musicians, non-musicians, humans. You will be missed.
Rest in Peace, Goddess. You were a force. Thank you for everything.
One of my favorite ever singers , her voice is magical
Genius artist and the glue that kept the band together. Rest peacefully.
That lady has a beautiful magical voice
I'm in total shock today hearing Christine has passed away.. having trouble processing this at the moment. RIP Christine 😢
Such a wonderful voice and talent. Her music has added so much to my life. RIP.
Rest in peace Christine - I am missing you already. 30-11-2022.
She's way Underated!!! what an amazing Woman!!!
Such a staple of my childhood. She was definitely a class act; talented and humble, lifting up Stevie Nicks. One of the most underrated singer/songwriters.
Rest in peace 🙏🏻💜
I spend a whole summer in the late 70s hearing "You Make Loving Fun" daily... a fave to this day...
RIP Christine....and Thank You.
Probably my all time favorite song period.
Christine McVie, the most talented member of Fleetwood Mac, in my opinion.. Their best songs, are either composed or sung by her.
That would be Lindsey
@@zythr9999 No that would be Peter Green who founded the band.
No better voice for the band then Christine McVie, stunning actually.
@@shobudski6776 If Peter Green was the most talented member of Fleetwood Mac, then he would be a member of Fleetwood Mac.
Perfect by name and perfection as a songwriter and artist. FM would not have been the same without her. A classy lady who will never be forgotten.
Just watched this video two nights ago and then find out today that Christine died today. So sad she was very beautiful woman and extremely talented songwriter and artist.
REST IN PEACE GODDESS OF MUSIC. My favourite member of one of the best bands of all time.
God bless Christine. Thank you so much for the music.
My band covered several FM tunes in the seventies....Rhiannon always got a big positive response. Great presentation ... thank you.
Great 👍 appreciation of Christine. I follow her since the Chicken Shack recordings. She is not a diva. She is a band builder. Her Songbird is an absolute masterpiece.
Get Like You Used to Be....love those keyboards!
She was Perfect 💞
Shine on, my favorite female singer/song writer, keyboard player, EVER!
Rest well Christine McVie: 1943-2022
