A friend of his said that among the many things he wanted to achieve was doing that and i found it ironic cause he was very critical of the Mtv culture. Although it seems like the kind of contradiction he could have had as he struggled a lot with his desire to be a big name in the music bussiness but not be a part of it.

@Patrick Burke true, but jeffs brief time with us ...for me anyway, had the intensity of a full life. Came out of no where, burned so brightly and was gone before we had time to reflect.
But we do reflect... as Eddie says...
      "And wherever you've gone
      And wherever we might go
      It don't seem fair
      Today just disappeared
      Your lights reflected now
      Reflected from a far

There's the moon asking to stay
Long enough for the clouds to fly me away
Well it's my time coming, I'm not afraid, afraid to die
My fading voice sings of love
But she cries to the clicking of time, oh, time
    [Chorus]
Wait in the fire, wait in the fire
Wait in the fire, wait in the fire
    Fire
    [Verse 2]
And she weeps on my arm
Walking to the bright lights in sorrow
Oh drink a bit of wine we both might go tomorrow, oh my love
And the rain is falling and I believe my time has come
It reminds me of the pain I might leave, leave behind
    [Chorus]
Wait in the fire, wait in the fire
Wait in the fire, wait in the fire
    Fire
    [Bridge]
(It reminds me of the pain)
    I might leave, leave behind
And I feel them drown my name
So easy to know and forget with this kiss
I'm not afraid to go but it goes so slow
    [Chorus]
Wait in the fire, wait in the fire, oh oh yea oh oh oh yeah unh
Wait, wait, wait in the fire, wait in the fire
Wait in the fire, wait ah uh unh ah

Just off the top, I hear Chris Cornell, Layne Stayley, Robert Plant, Steven Tyler and a couple other familiar voices all wrapped into one unique voice and style. This guy was so uniquely gifted.

If you want some unreal male vocals, listen to Nothing But Thieves, the lead singer, Conor Mason channels Jeff Buckley I’m so many of his songs. Unreal voice live too. Think they cover lover you should’ve come over too. Give it a listen.
