If everybody understood what it took to write this song, have the ability to sing it properly and produce it and record it, and then perform it live solo and almost flawlessly, this man would be a god to many more. He definitely is to me.
@@caimoriarty9004I've seen those two Artists live. They both have some of the characteristics and qualities that are found in Jeff's music. That being said, Jeff is a once in a lifetime phenomenon, like Hendrix and Prince. There is an elemental force with those artists, that transcends all the categories and boxes.
Such a beautiful rendition, the chord progressions on Eternal Life always left me mezmerized, Jeff was the absolute artist: great singer, songwriter, lyricist and guitarrist. Never a musician was so delicate and graceful yet so intense and commanding in performance, i miss him so much even tho i was 3 when he died.
@@chrisferrett8910 Yeah but it's not an original from Jeff, one great Hard Rock song from him is "I Woke Up In A Strange Place" by the way, underrated in my opinion
every performance i find, he just blows my mind every goddamn time. he's the type of artist you pass down to your kids, and your kids pass it down to their kids, and he will achieve eternal life.
My father has passed on this music to me. His favourites artist that unfortunately passed away on his birthday. I remember listening to this album so often with my dad. My daughter is now 4 & loves the Grace album too 🙌
That's beautiful, thank you. As I'm sitting here wishing he was still with us, you gave me a little hope that he got what he wanted out of existence on this plane. What he did isnt leaving us because I'm still, since my mid teens about fifteen years ago, coming back to watch this master of guitar, voice, and poetry. I just hope he knew a fraction of the importance of the legacy he left behind. You were a total anamoly, Jeff. We still miss you and are still in awe of what you managed to accomplish in your short time here
Thank you for releasing these beautiful solo live videos of Jeff. Everything about them is perfect and they have this ethereal quality that makes it feel like your are seeing Jeff perform from the otherside just for you. I am a long time HUGE fan and this concert series are an instant favorite. Please keep them coming.
Many believe his music to have a prophetic quality. Theorists consider the larger machine of the American music industry to be what drowned Jeff and they made it look like an accident. Doesn't help that he literally talks about how they will drown him, the farewells in many of his music, yet his being is not suicidal in the least. it seems to many artists that he was leaving clues behind for those who understand what it feels like to experience and express through art
When I listen the beauty and grace of his songs, sometimes I still cry for our loss. It’s been 23 years now... He was absolutely unique, a real shooting star ✨
A man who could move me around my emotions in little to no time, just by hearing or seeing him, an artist who I will always give credit for the man I became and continue to develop. Thank you, Jeff. A true life inspiration.
Por ignorancia no lo conocia y me sorprendio su calidad vocal espectacular era una joya del rock y tocaba genial la guitarra es una pena que ya no este

Fuck, now I've listened to one song I've never seen and one live recorded song I've never seen. Time to save for another time, then again I could get hit by a bus tomorrow.
Why releasing these now? Edited... I know it's graces anniversary. Making us wait seems like it's a marketing ploy more than trying to keep his talent alive for fans new and old.
Grace 25th anniversary, there’s a lot of stuff being released on Friday on streaming services. Over 50 tracks of live performances and unheard songs and such
@Greyson Myers Her point is that Jeff’s Estate could have published/released this footage several years ago, but it seems that they are just exploiting Jeff now for marketing reasons, as opposed to sharing their copious content out of a genuine desire to perpetuate Jeff’s legacy. That begs the question: Once this anniversary year passes, will Jeff’s Estate continue to upload more rare footage (they have plenty more, including 90 hours worth from Merri Cyr, alone), or will they go back to hoarding this material for several more years/decades, so that they can slowly milk his legacy for future generations? There’s no reason why Jeff’s Estate can’t upload whatever they have in their vaults. In fact, it is counterproductive to refrain from this, considering that Sony paid Merri Cyr $1 millions for her dozens of hours worth of footage. Why not upload that footage and make money off ads? That’s a win-win for everybody. The fans would finally get to enjoy this rare material and Sony could recoup some of that investment. As it stands, they just threw away $1 million dollars without making a cent of profit. From a business perspective, that is asinine. I don’t even understand Sony’s motive in acquiring said footage, at such a steep price - though, pennies to them - when there has been no effort made to attempt to compensate for that investment by making money in return.
MojoPin1983 yea but is anything we can do going to change this? No. Jeff’s estate and Sony would do anything for more money they don’t care. I just want to listen to music and this is what I’m getting. I’m gonna enjoy what I can

Heaviest Jeff Buckley song I would say
Buckley was so good at arrangements he covered himself 😏.

Why don't we have artists like this anymore?
What would he have done if he'd lived? Who would he have matured into? This music is genius.
I think about this too much.
His music will forever horrify me in a good way
What I love about Jeff is that he would openly embrace and explore ugliness in his music, yet produced such astounding beauty.
The unfinished album had tons of stuff like that. Gunshot glitter, moodswing whiskey etc
This is a glimpse of the afterlife and Jeff Buckley is an angel. 😭😭😇😇😇
He just absolutely loved music so purely. Always an incredible experience watching him perform.
