    I know it might cost a little but a supercharger and a small pulley and transmission stall converter would really fucking pump that build to the next level you can make good numbers of boost just head studs good gaskets and valve springs and a proper tune

    Very nice. Don’t forget or neglect to do your brake flushes. It makes a huge difference when stopping, especially from highway speeds. Also, if you are running stock suspension consider installing polyurethane sway bar bushings and links. Last but not least, install new bump stops front and rear.

    It's very nice the excellent suspension truck all the modifications you made is excellent the only thing I don't like is that that 6-cylinder model would be better an 4.7 8-cylinder engine

    Great lookin' WJ! I really like your suspension set up. I'm a fan of Bilsteins. Love my inline six, too!
    Think I'm gonna go with a winch plate instead of a ginormous bumper, at least at first.

    Im jealous of you guys living in sunny warm places. Y'all cars are SO BEAUTIFUL. Where I live they put so much damn salt on the roads during winter time so all cars die the rust-death slowly..

    Nice Jeep. I still have the one I bought from you. I haven modified it at all. But it seems you all did some things to it. The flex is insane. I haven’t even put in the front drive shaft. It is currently being used in my business . Just recently it developed death wobble. The bushings in the control arms are new. Ive had this WJ for 3 years i think. Maybe its time for the front end mods. Great jeep.
    I am looking for a JK unlimited basket case. I have a build I’m wanting to do.

      @@GoliathOffRoad Do you have a clutch fan as well as e-fan ? If not I recommend adding one for peace of mind for if / when your e-fan motor fails... water pump is all set to go to bolt one on....

      @@barrya.6212 We never had issues with the factory set up. We sold the jeep, but that's definitely something to consider, just in case. Great info!

      Steering wheel was wrapped in new leather and there was a foam padding added to make it thicker

    I loved your build. What mileage do you get with those tyres and all the setup?

      It's hard to say, we never actually calculated that. The computer showed 18 on the highway and around 13/14 in the city.

      We taped up the design, and painted the hood and grille along with the rest of the body panels in black raptor liner.

      It was already explained in previous comments. Title of the video indicates that it is an overland/expedition build, not overland version of the jeep WJ.

    what about a 4.0L? i men obviously you get more power but would it still be a good choice? Light overlanding trails, nothing too agressive?

      It's a good engine. The power is not like in the V8, but it gets the job done.

    Roughly how much money have you spent on upgrades in U.S. dollars? Thx... Beautiful Jeep , I just bought a 2004 WJ 4.0 with QuadraTrac 2. No modifications yet,,but can hardly wait any longer to get started.

      To build a car like this, about $15,000 if you do everything yourself and get a cheap base to start with.

      They are really just the same seats. We just think they look much better than the cloth ones.

      The tires are 285/70r17 (33”) and the wheels are from Jeep Wrangler JL rubicon.

      We used it off road and in the mud quite a lot, we just cleaned it very thoroughly after every trip.

      No body roll, with the rear geometry it doesn’t dive or squat when starting or stopping. Also huge amount of flex.

    What model overland you get the gauges from? Seats appear to be 02-03. I used a 2003 Overland cluster in my 2004 and the fog light indicator doesn’t work, does yours?

      We used everything from one donor vehicle. I believe it was 2003.

      There is no fender flares on this jeep. The arch is painted with raptor liner.

    You using wheel spacers?

      Yes, we used, I believe, 1.5" spacers. Factory JL wheels have a lot of positive offset and the tires rub on control arms if not used with spacers. O rat least in our case.

    Did you pull that D44a out of another rig or was it an option for the i6 Laredo trim?

      The dana 44a was only available for the V8 wj's. If he pulled it from a standard v8 it would have 3.73-1 gears which helps with the bigger tires. If he pulled it from an 4.7 HO it would have 3.91-1 gears. I own both models.

      @@DavidSanchez-ib4ft I've never heard of the 3.91 gearing option. Was under the impression that all the V8 WJ rigs had 3.73. do you know if they had a non veriloc axle option with those gears?

      @@turbolq4 Not that I'm aware of. It was only for the 4.7HO Overland model, and they only came with the Vari-lock axle. I have 2 sets of vari- locks and 1 open set. I plan on moving the 3.91 set to my open carrier and putting in an issue locker in the front while keeping the Vari-lock in the rear. I swapped out my 247 for a 242WJ so I have the 2wd option.

      The front end is out of an overland model and the rear end is out of a regular V8 WJ. Hope that helps! :)

      Just curious, im new to Jeep. How can you spot the difference between an Overland and a ''Standard'' Grand Cherokee?

      @@Cristo_Redentor Overlands come with 17 inch rims, (Limited's and Laredo's usually have 16 inch rims) Overlands have rock rails on the sides, and next to the "Grand Cherokee" emblem on the doors, it has the "Overland" emblem. Overlands also have the Up Country suspension package, and sit about 2 inches higher than GC's that don't have the UC package.

      Overland is a type of build and what he does with it, he uses it for overlanding.

      It’s not a overland version of the wj. It started as a laredo and upgraded with overland version interior and other things. It is also a overlanding build.

      I agree, It's not the best looking engine bay. The problem is, where we live, there is a lot of mud mixed with sand and lime stone, which stains everything really badly.
