I have a suggestion for a video. Take an unlifted Jeep along an angled slope that increases in Roll-Over angle. See what angle it reaches "balance point". Do this as a "before and after the lift kits", and also see what wheels and tyres do to help / hinder the abilities. Measure vehicle angle on the dash versus angle of the slope road itself would also be interesting to see how suspension flex affects things. Just thinking that would be a cool episode man.

I absolutely love this style of winch mount for the WJ, but it really doesn’t work for me because I have an Apex 12k on an IRO winch cradle that I swap between my WJ and pickup when I use them and don’t want to be limited by just a winch in the front of my WJ.
My plan is to make pretty much the same mount as this winch mount but make it a 2” receiver on the front and use the radiator skid plate from IRO. It’ll make it more versatile for me.
Also I’m interested in how you are going to do sliders on yours. I’m looking at doing 2”x6”x 1/4” rectangular tubing with 2”x2”x1/4” supports that go to the frame and mount to a 3/8” plate and attaches to another 3/8” plate that sandwiches the “frame” rails so it disperses the stress. The center 2x2 will stick out 3” to be able to attach the winch cradle in a sticky situation. I am also going to have a 4” kickout at the front and rear of the sliders.
I don’t know if I’m missing something with my ideas but that’s what I’ve come up with so far.
Thanks for any feedback you have and keep putting out the great WJ content.
