Watching you DIY with a smile makes this video fun! I've loved WJ's for years, and installed $100 pucks all the way up to $3k long arm systems. Unless you wanna start chopping up the body, a 2-3" budget boost with a set of 31's is my favorite combo. Looks tough without all the expense and comments about over-compensating for penile deficiencies. Well done.

Its the small things like calling out the wrench and socket sizes along the way, and giving hints and tips to make things easier for the guy or gal, that has never done a lift of any kind. Dan H, my neighbor got this kit and loves it. He trimmed his fenders and is able to run a 32 inch tire. It is a backup vehicle/trail toy. I was very surprised how well the kit rides and I personally love the stance. Its how the WJ should have come from the factory. Great kit if you just want to start offroading.
Future plans call for long arms and 35s.

You will need to extend your lower control arms by 1/2", or...buy extended(or adjustable) lower controls arms.

@@ProjectDanH I have the same wheels/tires on my 98 ZJ.... except they are 16s with a 1.75 lift.
With that 3" lift and you didn't show that you dropped the transfer case. I'm assuming you didn't.
Did you have problems with U joints or front linkage? I had considered a budget 3" lift but was advised not to.
I was told that I would end up having to drop transfer case 1" and purchase extended front end components.
Especially, if I used 4 wheel drive. All I wanted to do is eliminate a slight rub if I hit a bump when turning.

Remember wj guys, FYI, 5.0 x 5.0 lug spacing will fit some JK wheels, while ZJ owners, will have 5.0x4.5 lug pattern and will require spacer /adapters to run all JK wheel/tire takeoffs. BACKSPACING for a example 2016 JKU Wrangler Sahara edition wheel is 6.25 on the wheel so for ZJ owners would need a 2 inch spacer adapter to get the optimal 4.25 inch backspacing to run a rough country 2"-4.5" lift. This is per the techs at rough country. Hope this info helps someone.

Nice to find inspiration about Jeep's. I have many different cars, but have been fascinated by Jeeps too. When I came across a cheap 2000 model, here in Norway, I couldn't resist. Started following your channel and can't wait to find out more!
