Great Deal with a note about mop and glow because I use them just two weeks ago now my laminated floor has wax build up. How can I remove With a simpler technique that don’t have a machine power and such etc. thank you
Yes. It will take alot longer but you can mix stripper in a spray bottle, mist on and hand scrub small areas at a time. Just be careful not to over wet the laminate floors.
I have sealed Saltillo tile floors that the previous owner used Mop and Glow on. I’ve inherited a floor machine just like yours. Would it be ok to use on Saltillo? If so what pad?
Man... First time I stripped mop and glo from a hardwood floor, I didn't use a splash guard on my rotary and got some sling on the baseboards and walls. Learned my lesson that day lol. I still haven't posted that video. I hate this stuff with a passion 😂
You're absolutely welcome! On the laminate it is recommended to not put anything on them. The finish they have already on them from the manufacture will repel any kind of finish. If you check out Trumans Hardwood Floor channel he can explain it a little more in depth. ruclips.net/video/aFBX8lltqvc/видео.html
I'm not sure. But from my experience it's not a good quality wax compared to what I use on vct. Plus people don't know to strip off the old mop an glo before applying more.
Just came across your video. I just moved into my apartment and I have the typical laminate fake wood vinyl on my floors. I love them shiny. I was told by the maintenance guy to get mop and glo... is that not the case?
Welcome 🙂 This is bad advice. Mop and glo is a cheap grade floor wax. It will make your floors shiny but not for very long. If you plan on staying in the apartment for a while, it would eventually need to be stripped. The floors will turn brown and start looking dull over time.
Yes. I have used this same method on ceramic. If you are doing it yourself I would recommend to do small areas at a time. It may take several applications of stripper. The one I did I think I had to strip it 5 times. Its not an easy process.
Im using Super Strip only because I had already had some on hand. I normally use Emulsifier. Went with a black pad instead of the stripping block so not to scratch the floors.
Its called a Scraper, not scaper... LOL. I was exhausted when I edited this video.
No wonder, look at how fast you were going.LO.L. Thanks for your expert advise.
I used ammonia and a scraper to get mop and glo off my linoleum floors. Worked like a charm!

It's different for sure! Lol.. I might have slung some but I try to get it off with the mop.
So if it’s not Mop&Glo what can I use for polishing my laminated floor? I’m a simple mom trying to shine my new floor. Thank you for your video. 👍🏾

Did they Change mop and glow from the original 1970 formula?
It worked good back in the '70s not on hardwood of course but linoleum

What can I use to remove stained mop & glo
I don't know what you mean by stained but I'm sure it would be the same process. Floor stripper.

Great video man, what’s the price per ft to remove this?
Thank you! I charge .50 to $1 a square foot depending on the situation.
Can this same method be used for removing mop n glo from ceramic tile? I'm having a horrible time finding someone to do it for me
Yes. I have used this same method on ceramic. If you are doing it yourself I would recommend to do small areas at a time. It may take several applications of stripper. The one I did I think I had to strip it 5 times. Its not an easy process.
What liquid i have to use for removing mop glo
Floor stripper for stripping acrylic wax. If you haven't done it before just work in small areas at a time.
What kind of floor is that?
It is stained concrete.
What type of stripper and pad did you use?
Im using Super Strip only because I had already had some on hand. I normally use Emulsifier. Went with a black pad instead of the stripping block so not to scratch the floors.
Ammonia does this very easily
