For those start new business or buy more than 1, choose GWM Canon P Series, you got 2 instead if 1. Can buy 1 more or save more money for business. Great Saving!🔥🌸🔥

In all fairness you can't compare a hilux 2.8 with 2.0 p series. In a drag race, at least other aspects such as capability on and off road, practicality but not race.

Thanks Sean. Please do an extensive off-road review of the P series LTD and then we can take it from there.
I can tell you the next generation of P series is going to make these powerful bakkies look more basic (already features wise it’s crazy)

Toyota gets hijacked a lot in South Africa, so I prefer a P series

Hi, thanks for the review guys. What is the official payload on the GWM P Series LTD? You should also be indicating Spare Parts issues situation for SA and the region. Also long term durability on this chinese bakkie so far sunce launch in comparison to other bakkies on the market. Thanks a lot

Bakkies are not made for drag racing take them for an extensive off-road test and lets see then.

Hahaha its not fair to test the gwm p series with the 2.8.instead it should be with the hilux 2.4 then there would be more fairness..😁😁but the power of the p series is awesome with the 2.0 litre taking in consideration it's weight and amount of torque and the kW.. 👍👍it's a very good truck.

I see that you guys get a drivers side grab handle, GWM forgot to include the grab handle for their entire export market here in Australia, another big fail was no courtesy light in the ceiling either, another good one is GWM do not include tweeter speakers in their budget models, take off the housing and see for yourselves.

Yeh, but evidently they don't get a 7 year unlimited Km warranty either, well worth the extra $120 you have to pay from Savage to get a grab handle.

quite idiotic to compare a 2.8 to a 2.0 ... that costs basically double the price and even then you dont get that amount of features, nor do you get the service backup of gwm. quite shitty for the hilux being a much bigger engine and it cant even make a decent gap hahaha, ill sit back and get my popcorn as i see all the hilux ouens pulling in to their nearest gwm in the very near future

I don't understand what the point is of heated seats in the warm climate that is Southern Africa. Cooled seats would make a lot more sense.

P series might surprise the Hilux up the hill?

So a 2.8 vs a 2.0 ??? This was a comparison, not a review, fairly unimpressed with this methodology. Compare value for money for what you get and the P-series in my opinion outclass the Hilux on every front.
