Correct the Infiniti did have mechanical back up for its drive by wire system. Whereas the Cybertruck is truly a full drive by wire system with no mechanical back up. The Tesla uses redundant motors and sensors for its back up.

It's gone downhill so much that I had a coworker who had a Model 3 and wanted to upgrade to a Model Y for the space; however, because of how much Model Y owners complained about poor workmanship, panel gaps, etc he chose to stick with his Model 3 since it didn't have any issues. Fortunately, a lot more manufacturers are getting into the EV space. I'm currently shopping for a non-Tesla EV since I can't trust Tesla with all of the issues I've seen my friends deal with.

Believe it or not more and more tesla cars would be made and used by pleople(especially chinese brands that dominate the market with cars that are already 15k bucks) while brands such a bmw will continue to suffer since they are incapable to make evs under 50k bucks. And since there are already 6 million teslas on the roads already this number will increase already + pleople want a practicle and efficient car tesla is that car. I mean at best you get functional for today in comfort luxury and speed and even utility but what if you get car jacked, road raged, or murdered then it’s not so bad is it.
