Looks like they also added a driver's grab handle and a dome light which for some strange reason are missing on the standard P series.

That black grill looks so much better than the chrome one.

@@Pinchy80another Aussie here, isn't it a shame we miss the factory winch?
But easier to fit a winch than a sunroof, so I guess we do alright out of the variations in models exported around the globe.

Presuming Aus design compliance regulations issue.
Can guarantee a bar fitted with a "deadly winch" from a manufacturer raised a lot of eyebrows at the "got to be pedestrian safe" compliance checks.
Now, if that front bar was an Aus designed compliant ARB unit, it would most likely been cleared for import.
Hopefully GWM work on compliance or mod bar to be Aus compliant & we'll have the factory warranted winch vehicles imported too.
🤓Come on GWM, get it compliant.

Love the concept of the off road cruise control. Could it be used for plottering along kruger park at a nice game viewing 15 km/h for example? Anyone has some practical info on this feature?

100% you can use it for going through Kruger. I've recently just come from the launch of the Tank 300 which has it too. I'll cover it in that review which will come out in the next few days. Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss it :)

I beg to disagree with the comparison as this is set to be the "top of the range". If this was entry level then we can excuse the lack of power

Fair enough, they could have looked at giving this edition the edge with a bump in power to match the look and intention of it 👍🏼

These are a nice kit. I have test drove a cannon. Even though it's a 120 kW that's not bad. That 8 speed zf gets it up and going pretty quick. Top end 80 km hour over yeah over taking won't to get your distance accuracy right but no biggy I guess just stand on it a bit harder. After run in a good professional ecu remap might be the go 130 140 kW would do me
