UNREPEATED 30 MIN Leg Workout - No Repeat | EPIC Heat - Day 37

- Ready for a complete leg session!? So much variety with no repeat exercises to help strengthen the quads, hamstrings and glutes with dumbbells and bodyweight exercises!
A real challenge from the first exercise!
For this leg workout you will need a pair of dumbbells, a wall and a yoga block/thick book, however this is options and still can be completed without the elevation aspect!
The dumbbells I am using are 15kg each. Some of the exercises involve x2 dumbbells, others X1 dumbbell and some bodyweight only! But don’t underestimate the bodyweight exercises within this workout!
The timer will be on for 50 seconds of work, 10 seconds rest with each exercise!

For me, the most challenging was the lunge holds and the reverse plank bodyweight lifts!

Totally agree Kwarkoo! I love to see how she was trembling in the finisher session because I feel ok to feel the same and even sometimes through the soreness-joy I even thought mine was less than hers🤣😅

I usually just kinda crawl over to my towel and waterbottle after a legs session. Maybe for this one, I have to put them really nearby... can't crawl too far.

"What the hell is going on?!" were exactly my thoughts when I immersed myself into 2*dumbbell wall sit. Wow, what a session! No repeat but intensity was high, lunge hold into lunge hops 😱😅 and those plank lifts, not to mention the finisher which destroyed my quads.
I couldn't help but finish with 1 million workout, foolishly thinking it wouldn't be hard 😅 50 sec on ( kneel to squat + forward lean lunges+ rear step lunges all with the block ! No rest!) But enjoyed it, our bodies are incredible, we should all be proud!

@@monikakaiser1643 haha yes, but I was happy it was the first exercise, after all the work on legs it would be difficult to hold 2*10 kg and do wall sit. 1 M workout was superb, great for active days as well.

caroline’s dumbbell workouts bring my heart rate up to 150-160 bpm...they honestly feel like a cardio workout as well. i’m usually out of breath but not like dying as in a very intense cardio workout. idk if this is normal haha
Happens to me too! You're using your legs, which have huge muscles needing lots of blood to push as hard as Caroline pushes us -- so your heart rate goes up! :)

Hi Samantha...very normal with leg workouts. Leg muscles are large with a large blood supply. It’s normal for heart rate to go up. In a sense that’s what running is...a workout for leg muscles and that gets the heart rate up! Matthew
This is exactly my HR when doing her workouts, predominantly the leg workouts when it’s more compound movements. I sweat like a cardio session from her lower body workouts. 😅

OMG!! This was a killer! Usually, after a few months traning with the same trainer, my body gets used to the same moves, and doesn't feel challenged.. but that doesn't happend with Caroline Girvan! After four months she still manage to challenge me in 30 min! I have to take for the first time a few extra secondswrest before the finisher! 🥵 Congrats on your first million! 💗 Lets go for more! 🥰💪🏻
Yes! I totally agree Jessica. Killer leg workout that I totally loved!!😍 So intense throughout!! Those lunge holds and lunge jumps!! That floor work at the end🔥! Everything was just awesome.. These workouts and programs keep that muscle confusion going so my body is always challenged and doesn't get used to anything haha. I still get sore somewhere every week it seems. Love it!

That was a super advanced workout for me. I do weight training 5-6 days a week for 12 years now and consider myself very fit and there was no way I could do this without pausing for breaks. She is next level beast.
Before I started these workouts in January I was never a fan of lower body days. After doing Epic 2 and now into Epic heat, I’m so much stronger that I actually look forward and love lower body days! Thank you for helping me better myself and find this new found confidence and strength !

I’m honestly proud of myself that I did better in this leg workout as I just grabbed one dumbell set of 25 lbs and went along with it. I had to eliminate the thought of “ just in case I drop weight” I succeeded today even though it was tough but Caroline’s speech in the 1 million video sums up my morning perfect we have to love our bodies and appreciate it as we only have 1 so we must take care of it. Taking care of our body means nourishing and allowing it to rest when necessary. Thank you Caroline for this post 1 million leg extravaganza. I’m looking forward to arms tomorrow. Today made me realize I have to have more confidence in my ability as nothing is impossible

Wow, it was super fun! I loved how the rest was 10 seconds and keep me excited about the next round. I also enjoyed the combination of dumbbells followed by bodyweight in a similar position. I felt the muscles were 100% engaged. Thanks, Caroline!

Morning Matthew, I have to agree, I was really looking forward to this session and I wasn't dissapointed. Very intense but fun, loved the sequence of the moves, especially lunge hold to lunge jumps and the finisher was brilliant again.

Just finished this one, and I absolutely loved it. My knees can't handle bulgarian lunges anymore, so this combination helped me work my quads without feeling the need to modify. Once again, thank you so much Caroline for this fantastic workouts. Xxx

Caroline, believe me when I tell you I have never worked so hard in a 30 minute session 🤩 this had some of my favorite variations-iso/plyo, elevated, and the cossacks! Life is getting busy again and I really loved having short rest to really push myself and get as much as I could out of my time 💛

a day late but I got here! The last time we did single-leg hamstring lifts I couldn't do them, today I struggled but I did it!! Congratulations on 1 million C, and thank you!
So looking forward to this workout! Finally getting back into a routine and getting back into the workouts after a month. I lost my Dad last month and it has been incredibly hard to get back to anything, but I'm trying. @@matthewalmond4688 thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts, I do greatly appreciate it. There is definitely a void missing, a piece of my heart went with him. I just have to get through this coming Thursday, it is his burial at a National Cemetery as he was a military veteran. I feel like I will be able to breathe again and heal more once we get through that. I know getting back into working out will help more than anything, as it has been my relief for several years now. Caroline and this amazing community make it that much better. Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This was such an amazing workout! No repeats and boy was that a sweaty one. I pushed through and used two dumbbells for all, except mentally couldn’t face squats for some reason 😅😂. I really loved hearing the “finisher” tune but then dreaded what was to come 🔥🔥🔥

I did this workout yesterday but Tuesday is a really busy day for me, so I am just commenting today 😅 So... yesterday, my legs felt like : “are you trying to kill us”? It was NO JOKE at all! The Static lunges, followed by jump lunges ... 😱😱😱😱 Caroline, for the first time since I am following you I named you “crazy woman”, I am so sorry... 🥲🥲😓 but I still love you so much, I particularly loved your clothes yesterday, as every day I must say, because no matter what you wear, you are still so pretty 🤩. I also love you so much for your professionalism 🥰

Never thought I would see my thick legs again after doing a failed Fat transfer and using my leg fat 🤦🏻♀️. Yes one of the dumbest things I ever did. Here I am after a few months of doing your workouts with now up to 25lb dumbbells and my legs are looking like they used to look almost! 😭😭😭 I’m so happy. Thank you Caroline so much! ❤
OMg, this was seriously challenging for me. I thought it would be the okish leg session, but I was so wrong. Especially, that LUNGE HOLD & STATIC LUNGE / JUMP....I was dead. Usually I love Staggered RDL and pretty good at it, but this time, at the end of this session, my legs were so shaking, I had to slow it down to do it in a proper form. OMG XD Caroline always surprises us in an amazing way and that is why I love her workout. So thoughtful, genius and effective!

EPIC HEAT 37/37 Done!!! So happy for another leg day!!! Used 25lbs today thinking I might be ready for heavier weights but was scared that I wouldn't be strong enough to complete the entire workout so didn't dare to try, but still very happy for finishing it! Starting out of the gate with wall sits? She's trying to kill us! Haha :) I think I could've used heavy weights during some of the moves but that's okay, there's always the next workout to keep that in mind! I still did a great job and am proud of myself.
