    Just bought one, it’s probably my favorite guitar that I own now. Cool song!

    I picked one up after seeing this and a couple other videos. They had one priced well in the used section of our Guitar Center. I think it's great, definitely alot of fun. My only complaint is that it SHOULD glow in the dark and have illuminated inlays on the side of the board. They should have probably called it Green Unglow.

    Hi! Does it actually glow in the dark? Thanks!

    Definitely looks and sounds awesome. I tried one in white and really liked it. Had my mind set on getting an Ibanez RG otherwise I would have got one - most likely in green glow. Would want to see it beforehand though as some are almost all black or have large sections of black. You got a sensational one 🤘🤘🤘

      I am with you, and have the Ibanez RG565 Genesis and LOVE it! Agreed, you have to see it first and choose the "right" design for you. When you see it you will know it, thank you so much!

      @@X9Eric keep coming back and looking at this guitar. How would you compare the neck to the Ibanez 565? I believe the 565 has the super wizard neck so would feel very similar to my 5120M which feels noticeably thinner than my other guitars and doesn't have a compound radius like the Jackson. Jackson doesn't seem to list the thickness so hard to know how different it would be and my local shop no longer stocks them.
      I've also seen a crazy price on a Jackson MJ Dinky which is tempting. It's satin black with yellow pickups and reverse headstock. Very tempting with either of them.

      Thank you @joemusicman64! E flat with the dropped low string tuned to C. Not normal but try it, as it can open up the creativity for you like it did for me!

    New sub! Excellent tracks! I love the slow, groovy metallic crunch style. I've always wanted to write a CD of nothing but "breakdown" style tracks. Being the whole song like a breakdown instead of 30 seconds worth at the end. Anyways, I'm seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on this green glow DK2. Thanks for a killer vid. I look forward to more killer shred guitar vids! 🤘🏻

      That's a killer idea, you should do it I would love to hear breakdown style tracks! The GG DK2 is an awesome looking, fantastic playing and incredible sounding guitar. Jackson just ticked all the boxes on these guitars, can't go wrong with it! Thank you so much for the kind words!

    Do they burn the wood and then paint it?

    • @X9Eric
      @X9Eric  2 года назад

      Hey Backbreaker I am not sure. The green is in the valleys and the black is the top surface almost like the green was laid down first. I can say that is very cool you can feel the wood grain and the ash body resonates SO well to my ears. Seems like it breathes, highly recommended!

      its sandblasted. then paint. then sand again. i think that's what they said. how they get that look.

    Fuck that blue channel sounds amazing, its so good that Jackson isnt really using licenced parts anymore their bridges and pick ups fucking sucked in the early 2000's.
    Is this Chinese or Mexican? The specs are very good.

    None of those guitars have the same pattern like a finger print, certain ones will be worth alot of money in about 20yrs.

      Absolutely one of the coolest things about these guitars! plus IMHO certain wood grains look amazing!
