I believe the F600 is the heaviest medium pick up to still have a 4x4 option. It sounds like the perfect vehicle to build an overlanding camper on the chassis.
@@MacPhee_Ford Thanks for the answer, does no one north of the border want a 7.3? I would think it would be a popular option to stay away from Diesel emissions like it is here stateside.
Quick question about the commercial chassis cab trucks equipped with the Powerstroke diesel engines under it's hood did they shrunk the turbo charger to make the turbo smaller due to it detuned
Great question. Hard to find info on the exact turbo housing sizes but it would make sense for them to be the same. Maybe there are slight design differences, but turbo sizing is likely same/very similar. They would likely just run less boost and less aggressive output is general

I think you're right, it's a perfect fit for that kind of build!
i like
On the Ford website it still lists the 7.3 on the F600 as available.
For the American market F-600 you can still option with the Gas 7.3L V8, however here in Canada, it is only available with the 6.7L Diesel engine.

The f600 has the 7.3 gas engine standard and powerstroke as an option
They used to be like that, Ford switched to the diesel as the standard option due to demand.
@@MacPhee_Ford But, can you still order with the 7.3? In the ford website it still lists both engines for the 600
