What is the solution for those who do not add a document to the Support Document, which is the first time they have filed a passport without a passport?

If I had a police certificate from my home country about 3 years ago and never been there for more than 2 months since then; do I need to get a new certificate for the DV process?
And for the visa interview; should both spouse and myself attend it in the same embassy? Though we live in two different countries?

Hello britsimon,,when i send my passport,i sent copy of my wife's passport in the same folder with mine( document name is mine but i sent mine and her copy). But again i sent her passport in another folder. Does it have problem?
Hey Brit , so I cannot get my Police certificate from my country of origin because now I am away on studies and they need me in person to be there and have finger prints . Which is impossible, I can only provide for my current country of residence where I am studying .
So KCC says if you cannot get any document , you write a letter explaining to them and attach with the documents. Have you seen that and what’s your take on this

Hello Mr. Brit simon, I would like to ask you few questions if you don't mind. I live Turkey for more than one year and I from Somalia, my question is how many police certificates that I need if I won the lottery? Second Turkey country has an official language of Turkish if I need a police certificate in this country it would be the Turkish language, so that may I need translation? Because other documents would be the English language like Birth Certificate, passport because it from Somalia

Hi. No you don’t need to renew it for 100%. You can find it on reciprocity page at the police certificate section.

Yes...
If you remember your confirmation number to check whether you were selected for further processing i think you can change the email address during the DS 260form

Where can i process my file, for instance, I am Kenyan and I am residing in Dubai for over five years. Will have to go back to Kenya to process my file if I am selected for the lottery?.
Hello am from Kenya too...you can either choose Dubai as your interview destination or go back home for your interview...but many ppl prefer home.hope I've answered your question
But note, you'll still need both Good conduct certification (Kenyan and Dubai)

And yes like you, you'll need the police certificate for both counties plus all other family members above 18 years or so years. Kindly follow @britsimonsays for clear information. Thanks again

I think you have to have a police certificate from wherever you have stayed for more than 6 months

Should winners from Iran send their police certificate while it's unreliable?
As It's written in instruction of reciprocity by country that : "police certificates from Iran are Available but unreliable. Police records are not required for immigrant visa applicants because posts cannot verify them."

Hello what do you mean by Limits reached ???i am around
Around 37000
Every region has a limit of visas that can be issued, all regions can’t get more than 7% of all total visas
That means if the limit is reached for that region then automatically they’l be done with that region for that fiscal year so even if you had won the lottery you can’t get an interview and no visa will be issued to you.
You’l have to apply again for the lottery.
Interviews for DV2021 have Not yet started how can they have already reached the Limit ,are you DV 2020???

May I ask . I have sent documents more than 3monhs back no word from KCC and I’m now current on the April visa bulletin .what does that mean about the documents that I sent ?because all I got from them was an email saying they need 6weeks to process my documents
Email them and ask whether they received the documents & whether they have been processed. Kccdv@state.gov. Make sure you include your case number in the email subject.

Be patient, contact them every month or after every 2weeks to confirm if they received them or if they need any more documents.
They’l get back to you.
