The wording of some of the questions make it tricky to know how to answer. The petitioner can't have an international number! I'm the American petitioner, but I'm living in Colombia with my husband while waiting for his Visa, so I don't have an American 10 numeral phone number. Where we will live when we get to America is not the same as mailing address. The it asks if I'm going to "immigrate" with my spouse or go to America at a later date. Well technically I'm not in America, so I would be going back to America, not Immigrating to America. Be careful if you have to write down many past address because you have under 20 minutes before it closes and you lose everything you were typing, and it's best to hit "save" as you finish each page just in case something happens, the website has closed out of nowhere and I've had to start over, so save save save as you go.
Hi Brit am happy for you lad... When I was applying for the Dv 2025,my newly married wife lied to me she had the basic high school education, and we both did application separately.. Later I realised she didn't complete high school and does not even have a certificate of the same😭😭😭, now in case either one is selected, can this make us get disqualified for both cases??

We got Married in February 2024 after i have already submitted my DV 2024 application in 2023. Sooner DV results were out in May 2024 by wife gave birth on the same date results were published on the 4th of May 2024 and i was Selected. Hi when filling the D260 form and you have a customary wedding but no certificate do you indicate married with the date for customary wedding and is it okay to have a civil wedding before interview
Laws about customary marriages vary by country. If you claim to be married when you are not in a legally recognized marriage, it can cause disqualification. So - depending on the laws in your country, you might need to get legally married - but have some risk if you said you were married in the entry.

If I don't lie on my current address and put in my ds-260 form and chose to take my interview in different location for example my current address is Addis Ababa and I selected to take my interview in Kuala Lumpur do they automatically transfer my interview location to my current address Addis Ababa or they would consider my designated interview location Kuala Lumpur? In opposite, I lied my current address Addis Ababa and put my ds-260 form a Kuala Lumpur address and went there and didn't add this travel into my ds-260 because I have submitted my ds-260 before my trip in Kuala Lumpur do they ask me why I don't put this last trip in my ds-260 form? or they may ask what type of visa I came in Malaysia maybe I came on medical visa, tourism or student visa. They choose the embassy based on your current address. So - if you move to another country, you can ask to unlock your DS260, update the address and then resubmit it - that will cause a change of embassy.
If I was selected and at the time of applying, my wife and I had one child then she delivered at the time of completing the DS260. How is this case handled?
Assuming the child was born fter the entry, then no problem. If however the child was already born and not included on the entry you will be disqualified
What if the child is already above 21 years old so main applicant does not include while registration form but in ds 260 form,main applicant says' yes' I have a child and include child information who is 25 years divorce son...in this case should he include his child information on ds260 form or not sir?

No. It would just mean that if she won, she would not be able to meet the education requirement.

Your birth cert is what lists your birthplace - so make sure you match that.

You have talked about address in your this video, so my question quite related on this. If I don't lie on my current address and put in my ds-260 form and chose to take my interview in different location for example my current address is Addis Ababa and I selected to take my interview in Kuala Lumpur do they automatically transfer my interview location to my current address Addis Ababa or they would consider my designated interview location Kuala Lumpur? In opposite, I lied my current address Addis Ababa and put my ds-260 form a Kuala Lumpur address and went there and didn't add this travel into my ds-260 because I have submitted my ds-260 before my trip in Kuala Lumpur do they ask me why I don't put this last trip in my ds-260 form? or they may ask what type of visa I came in Malaysia maybe I came on medical visa, tourism or student visa. Can you clarify us the address issue and give us some hint and tricks. Thank you for time.

I submitted my DS-290 one day after getting the result. I didn't have much information. I asked kcc to re enable my form to edit it, because I understood that I need to change some information,including the hosting in America. If I get married now and if kcc will give the opportunity to re-edit my form, and I change the martial status, will it be any chance to be disqualified?

People say that it is even better than letting them do that, bcs apparently they do not do that at all, so you think it will be done, but in fact it delayes the case more than issuing it by yourself when in USA...so that is how formal winners these days claim....

And I'm also a high school student we are going to take our final year examination on May that's the same month the DV 25 results is coming out. So my question is what am I going to do about my education status and info that I would put in the DS 260 form Incase I win because we are starting our final year exams on may and we will finish at the end of the month and our certificates won't be available until our results is out and the results usually comes out a month or 2 months after the exams. They choose the embassy based on your current address. So - if you move to another country, you can ask to unlock your DS260, update the address and then resubmit it - that will cause a change of embassy.
