I won the DV-2025 lottery and I need to fill out the DS-260 form, but my passport expires in August. I have an appointment to renew my passport in 4 days, and it will take about a month to get the new one. Should I wait until I receive the new passport to fill out the DS-260, or submit it with my current passport details? And my case number is 10876 and I’m in Asia.
And should I bring both the old and new passports to the visa interview?
Any advice on the best approach would be really helpful!

Our case number is below 100 and we will be processing in the UK. Do you think there's a high chance that we will be interviewed this October?
Depending on your processing.. Yes, there's a very high chance you will be current imo. Don't be discouraged if it isn't in October though.. That's a very low number.

I am a DV 2022 winner am presently in the US Maryland to be preside. During our fiscal year 2022 my case number was 22k and I was scheduled for interview without be current my interview was scheduled on January while my case number was not current at that time but after my interview and my visa was approved I have to wait like 3 months for my case number to be current before they issued my passport with the visa in it. If you need to verify this information I will send you my interview appointment letter then you can track the DV 2022 visa bulletin at that time. We do appreciate all you do I was inspired by you to be persistent in the DV lottery.

I have a question for my case, the case number is EU205xx (Russia) which shows in bulletin as current status today (July). However, I've unlocked my ds260 2 days ago and I re-submit my DS260 last night (less than 6 hrs before my status become current) Will it cause any issue for my interview (I have interview in BNK (Bangkok is not busy embassy as i understand)

This will not cause issues. However, if you left it unlocked for a significant amount of time, then it could affect the processing of your case. Since you submitted in a very short amount of time, that particular aspect is fine.

i have a question regarding the children in the ds 260 form. I have three children who is 21 years above and in the initial application when filling the green card, we didn't mentioned any children because it asked that children must be under 21 years age. But since i won it now, when filling the ds 260 form they ask us the number of children , SO should i mention my three children who are above 21 years old?
If they were above 21 when you submitted your initial entry, then they are not eligible for the DV lottery. If they turned 21 after the initial entry, then you can discuss their eligibility with the officer at your interview. You should include information about them in the DS-260 though.
@@FrankSenu80oh right. So although all 3 children were above 21 years old at the initial application, we should include them in the ‘number of children’ category when filling the ds 260 form yeah ?

@@Hardworkpaysoffsomehow You should bring any information to prove anything that isn't correct. You may also want to include that in other names listed on the DS-260.. You can send a message to KCC and they'll unlock it for you to make the corrections.

Your case number is not yet current, you may get current in June for July or September interview if you're AF71

Yes, if you had gotten married after the initial entry- add her to the DS-260. If you were married when you submitted your initial entry and didn't include her-- then that's a problem lol.
