This video will be very helpful to those that don't understand the key concepts about how KCC process the DS260s, what emails they send if you ask the status of your case, and when and how you will be scheduled (after being added to the "AV queue"). The video explains the critical role that the embassies have in setting their capacity for DV interviews, and how AV queues can build up. Unfortunately these AV queues can become so large that some cases will never be interviewed, and that is purely because some embassies will not give DV the appropriate priority. This video will show you how that happens, and whether case number is important in the AV queues.

Please also explain about the processing time of Heli 260 form.
For example, someone who submitted on May 15 and someone who submitted form 260 on July 15, will both be processed in 2 months, for example? Or the people of Jovin will be processed much later due to the density of higher cases?
Will KCC process case number 16000 earlier than case 2000 because it sent its form earlier?
Hey Brit, there're people claiming that KCC now (in the last two years) moves cases that got their DS-260 confirmed to AV queues without those cases being current. What do you think about this? Have you seen any such cases?

can you explain how the AV que changes when the winner makes major changes(i.e newly married and adding dependent) after being processed and not current or gonna be current soon?
That case has not been added to the AV queue at that point, so the change makes no difference.

Quick question: My Diversity Visa from DV-2022 is expired, and I could not enter the US. Since the fiscal year for DV-2022 is ended, probably they will not give me a new visa stamp. Can I do anything?
it is very helpful video but i want to know is there any cases which has been prossesed and has a low casenumber but never and never would be invited? because we can see around 25% of each 1000 cases never got their 2nd letter... am i true?

The video was very complete.
The only point that you did not mention is the processing of the case number after the declaration of carnage.
For example, the 5000 to 10000 carnet range is announced for March and will not change until the end of April or even May carnet.
The process of case number 6000 will end in mid-April, but up to 8000 have been invited to the interview.
In this case, the remaining case of 6000 will be invited in the next first invitation or not?
When will this case of 6,000, which is considered a survivor, be invited?

Hello Sir! I have a question. I applied for DV in 2021 with no child. Then i had a baby last year 2022 and May i found out i had been selected. So when i filled my DS 260 i then added my child. But i did not fill him his own seperate DS 260 form. So i received my 2NL and it had both our names on the interview appointment. Could it be an issue that i didn't fill in a form for him and can he be impacted and not get a visa?

Nairobi is more like embassy 2. They have done something from the beginning, but they have restricted the number of interviews to a number less than the demand, so a queue has built up and they are backlogged.

DV2020 AND DV2021 programmes have ended(unless you're part of ongoing lawsuit).
There's no 2NL waiting for DV2020 and DV2021 applicants.

My case number AF359XX got current in March,DS-260 was submitted in August , I received a replied mail in February saying my DS-260 has been processed and can not be unlocked. Checking the recent ceac statistics for my embassy i realised 2nls have been sent to cases up to 39k but my status is still at NVC. Please sir what could be the possible reason for this, do I have any reason to be worried?

No. The GC will be sent there, so find a friend you can trust.

You are obviously at risk, because there must be many cases ahead of you. However, Morocco embassy is taking a good number of cases each month, so you have some chance.

By the way, Türkiye invited all the cases under 2500 a few days ago. What was the reason that Turkey had not invited the submissions from June 10 and later and they were so-called jamand cases? Ankara itself is the decision maker or KCC

Yes. A "host" isn't a formal relationship, so it is not recognized by the government as being helpful in immigration matters.

I had an interview at US Embassy Islamabad on MARCH 10, 2023 at 9:00AM. So at the end of interview my case went to the ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING (AP) and the visa officer gave me two slips (white and yellow).
