If I'm being honest this has pros and cons. Sometimes you talk too much and they think you're unnecessary rambling is maybe a lie. I got denied a student visa, and wasn't suppose to, because when I went back for another interview the officer was baffled as to why I was denied. I'm mad I didn't appeal. So honestly, it depends on the officer you, get all officers are different and they issue based on their conscious 🤷🏾‍♀️

I am from the Caribbean and I remembered the first time I got a visitors visa to the US. I was so nervous. The lady asked if I was nervous. I told her yes because I saw that she was telling everyone no and I didn't want to hear no. She smiled and said everyone's case is different. I 've had my visa renewed multiple times after this. I just visit on my vacation from work and return after my two weeks or 3 weeks

This ex visa Officer sounds very personable . Ive witnessed interviews and had them myself and the visa officers have been dismissive and rude. You have to push back without being rude! They should give you an opportunity to speak and expand answers. You pay a disportionate fee to be interviewed afterall.

You're right. The CO who interviewed my husband didn't give us a fair chance. Placed us on AP. We submitted all documentation. So much evidence. I've been to Lagos 6 times. What fake marriage would do that? It hurts. We have a second interview. At least, the CO didn't deny us altogether. The entire process is so stress ful. To make matters worse, there's several people that had complaints against the same CO. God got us. I cannot WAIT to speak to the Embassy on October 12th. I am READY. I need my husband. He needs ME!

The best way to get a Visa approval is to speak the truth, sometimes the application is already filled out and when the applicant get to the interview the answers are asked in a different format and thats wherebthe trick lies, speak the truth at all times because whatever you answered before its saved in their system. We were told not to talk too much because the officer may think you're nervous and trying to over talk to cover something, damn if you do damn if you dont. They already know what they want to know about you before you entered.

I approve this video. Many people probably will not going to agree because it's sound to simple how Ben explained it. From experience I got my visa in 2019 just doing exactly what they explain on this video. Believe me have never been interviewed in my life before, no one never explain to me what to do or what to say. When I was there at the embassy I actually spoke with the officer like a good friend I know, when she asked me questions I don't have the answer I said no to her, when she said why you should know it I explain why it wasn't important to know at this moment. When officer ask me questions and ask question back do I have to respond that question she was surprised and smile and said I have time you can explain it to me, the look on her face seem no one ever ask question back to an officer . Yes you can my friend. Don't be aggressive, don't talk too much, be original, know your story better than the officer because they read about you before they meet you. Don't follow step be original and stay to your story, trust me they can't Denied you if you original. I was convinced the officer so much after 3 days Arrival in the US they send me a letter says I have 11 Months to bring my Daughter in the US 😮 I was OMG can't believe it. Yes it was happend. I was thinking to do a video about that but I never did I'm glad I found your Chanel so I can share my story to people how simple is that.

No, because it's not on the day that you went in for the interview, they are going to decided if you are qualified for the visa or not. Before your interview appointment date, there are qualified visa officers that would look over your visa application and either decide with all the things you put on the visa application if you are approved or denied. That's the part he did not say..

  • @DRventura333

Great information. Many people, even outside of the the "visa office" are always nervous with government officials in any form. So even if you are not hiding anything, you might look guilty because you are nervous. Also, many cultures don't interact with any government officials so the shortest answers are a learned thing to get out of the office quick. Most Spot on, many countries don't do eye contact with elders or officials, so it should be a two way street of learning the culture of the Applicant and the Visa officer.

Not "colleague" exactly. I keep visiting US often from Canada. Canadian immigration officers are "Awesome" whereas America immigration officers are like Robots, no smiles, rarely replying to your Good Morning and Thank You, etc. on the other hand when we return, Canadian immigration officers are with a Big Smile on their face and are vey pleasant.
We usually go for vacation to US with my family, so I totally ignore that rude behavior of a few minutes and proceed with our journey happily with my family.

I am from Jamaica, I keep getting denied my Visa for the US, I only want to visit. Our Visa Officer always only asked me one questionWhat was the purpose of my visit Then denied me because I was a child. I always think I'm unfairly treated. I never desired to run off or anything. This has been going on since I was a child. I have been to Canada though through my roughest times. God bless 🇨🇦.

Good morning if I was living in the USA and was deported 10 years ago. How can I apply back to the United States to get a visa? My mom and sister lives in the United States

Denied 3x and i have no plans to visit the US. I tried to be as honest as possible but still got denied. I have travelled to other countries, i have multiple business in my country. I dont know what’s wrong? I didn’t give short answers. Tried to present my case but still got denied. The US will be no longer in my bucket lists.

I'm here because my US citizen uncle has applied for an I-130 sibling petition for us 15 years ago. I was wondering whether those questions are related to the questions that the interviewers ask before deciding whether to give someone a permanent residency or not😄😄. Thanks alot for the video !

This is t man who interviewed us in 2011. But he denied is a Visa. We never knew t reason at that moment but later we knew the reason. It was a green card visa. They should tell t green card winners as a family not to get pregnant till they get to USA. Otherwise if u r pregnant no visa unless u show them an insurance that will stand for ua medical services.
