Hello Mandy! just wanted to share my experience with how my visa interview got approved on February 14, 2023. Here is the transcript of the questions the consular officer asked me at the Us consulate in Tijuana, Mexico: 1. What do you do for a living? -- Good morning, well I'm an electrical engineer. 2. How long you've been an electrical engineer? -- 5 years. 3. Tell me what are some of your activities? -- I'm a fire investigator, mainly do failure analysis on electrical components, and the electrical installation of the structure. Do origin and cause determination of where the fire started. 4. So you work for an insurance company? -- Yes mam. 5. What is the purpose of your travel? -- Tourism and vacations. 6. When are you planning to visit the U.S.? First week of march, 2023. 7. Are you married? -- No, I'm single. 8. Do you own your own house? No, I'm currently renting, I'm in the process of purchasing a property. 9. What city are you planning on visiting in the U. S.? -- Houston, Texas. 10. But what are your plans on doing there, what activities are you going to do? -- I've always wanted to visit NASA space center, always had a thing for space exploration, and rockets. 11. With whom are you going to stay there? A Friend. Congratulations! your Visa has been approved. I prepared for my visa interview based on the information you provided, and I got my visa approved! I was interviewed with an honest and respectful attitude and also wore my suit. Even though few people wore suits, I think wearing one gave the officer a good impression. Thank you so much! 😊

As a reverend minister, I dressed in my clerical shirt and a nice suits to confirm my vocation and my real identity on file. The visa officer honourably gave me the needed reverence by asking me only one question for my visa approval. May God bless her and her family forever.
@zeeshanshani3611 the officer asked my husband how long he was employed, if he ever been to the US, then he asked me if I ever travel out my birth country...if we will be traveling to the US together and when we intend to travel and if all our children lives with us.. After answering all truthfully our visas were approved....
Madam you are great....i listened to your advise and your calmness gave me confidence to face the visa..i officer .i dressed well and looked at her in the face as i approached the counter smilling...and she pushed the blue paper to me before asking me any questions..then she asked 3 questions and gave me the visa...thanks so much.....

I guess everything depends on the personality of the interviewing officer. It is more of a gamble / what you do or say or the way you are dressed might not make a big difference. Different people/ different attitudes. That is something you can not predict or have control over.
A recommendation for your next video: Could you please talk about special immigration visas? After 2021 there are alot of Afghan 8:21 people who have got their SIV visas. My interview is on June 13 and your information are really helpful.

There is no words to describe how painful was for me to spend all this time and money to make the best out of everything from my clothes to what i wanted to say that my intentions are legitimate to make someone look at you up and down ask you 2 questions and exited out with a 214b paper. ‘Try again’ as if to be $185 and a 3 year waiting time is something normal. You think a us visa denial would be nothing, but blocking the opportunity to visit my friends, go to my best friend wedding, having to pay for more expensive plane tickets because now I have to find routes that don’t have layovers in US soil. How I wish I could pay a consultation but now many people could afford a visa, a consultation. i feel like no one cares about me about us we are the people who gets denied the opportunity to have a good time just cause we dont look like we deserve it. This world sucks.

and make sure to wear comfy shoes. There is a good chance you will have to stand for a couple of hours depending on the embassy.
that's a big one. also, keep your posture. after standing in lines for so long, you might feel tired and tend to slouch.

You should wear something that's nice, but also something that you feel comfortable in. Think about what you might normally wear to your office.

I think best is simple business attire. Since i beleive interviews are formal. Clean look and smell good, but not a strong odor. My 5cents.
