I watched closely as you pulled those first pockets off without a hitch. On the second pockets, I slowed the speed of the video down and watched again. It was so helpful that you did it again. You are precise without being the quilt police, and you are stern about details without losing your friendy demeanor. It is a true talent and gift that I am so grateful you share. This project first got me to your channel, about a year ago, and since then I have probably watched 50 of your videos. Insomniac caught my attention because I am up sewing at 230 in the morning sometimes. Just enjoying the process, much like I feel you do too.

You have shown me a new way to measure on my cutting board. Everyone else I've watched measure from the bottom numbers and it always end up off a bit but this way of measuring and cutting has given me hope as a newbie.

Tiffany, what can I say!?! You are the most clear, patient, and precise teacher on RUclips!!. I am a newbie to both quilting and bag making.
I've tried other websites, but they are either too quick to understand or they don't cover everything for someone like me! I need to be shown over and over until I get it!! 😆 🤣. I absolutely love the rewind button!!! 😅😂.
Thank you so much once again for your patient attitude and your clear instructions!!.
I love how you can see things and just get them done!! Brilliant!!!! Orinthia xxxxxx

Tiffany I can honestly say I learn something new everytime I watch you. Today was our last day to go get our quilt blocks because the store is closing in October. Ran across a lady from ness city, Kansas that apparently is a beginner sewer. I told her to watch your channel and creative heart creations or whatever is your friend from California that moved recently. I told her that you make everything so stinking easy.she took a snapshot of one of your itinerary so she could go home and watch it. Ness city is probably an hour or hour and half from hays Kansas. I never get tired of hearing your voice either.

I just made this bag. One thing I did different was, I stitched the D-ring tabs to the purse body back matching the top stitch line….now they don’t flap. It was a bit tricky because I did it after the entire bag was finished. Next on, I will stitch the flaps down before completing the bag. Thank you so much for the tutorial…love the bag🥰

I did it! I can hardly believe it but I just finished my very own "The Right Bag!" And it is "just right." Had to stop & start your video over and over to see just how you did some of the steps & was able to follow your awesome instructions! The local hardware & zipper selection was very slim but I didn't want to wait for an online order so I made it work. I just love it! I plan to make another one now that I've become more familiar with it. And I'll order the parts ahead of time. Thanks for your tutorial video & for sharing it! Sincerely, jw

I love this bag! The fabrics you used were so pretty! Your instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I have one suggestion. On the zipper that you add tabs on the ends, don't sew the sides of the tabs. Line up one short end of the tab on the front of the zipper, face side down. Sew across 1/4" from end. Fold over 1/4" on the other short end of the tab and fold it over the end of the zipper and line the edge with the front where you stitched the first edge. Stitch 1/8" from edge. This way you will have a little less bulk on the sides, since they will be sewn in the seam anyway. Hope I explained it ok. The zoom stitching of the strap was fun! Thanks for the tutorial!

I love this purse and have made several. Thank you for the pattern.
You mentioned you were unsure about the placement of the strap tabs...me too.
I moved them to the purse top about 1/2" from the sides. I placed one tab on either side of the top zipper so it is balanced when it hangs over my shoulder. Works GREAT! I really love your style and as a visual learner...this works for me.
Oh and I decided not to cut the box corner notches until the entire purse was stitched together...that way, they all match up.

OK, I'm hooked. I was looking for instructions for cross body bags. This one is soooo cute!! I can't wait to get started. You didn't mention in the comment section where you found the zipper roll and pulls. I know I can just buy zippers, but yours look so professional. I think these would make fantastic gifts. I can't wait to get started. AND I can't wait to see what other videos you've put together. I wish you were in my town, but I'm so thankful for RUclips that you've been able to share with all of us out here!❤

I get my zippers and pulls mostly from anywhere that is on sale or has deals when you buy more than 3 yards of zipper tape. Last place my hubs found me zippers was on Walmart and he got me the color change zipper tape that is sooo cute 😍

My goodness, you're a talented lady! I made "The right bag" and love it. Your tutorial was awesome and clearly walked me thru all the steps of things I hadn't done before. Thank you so much.

This is just adorable!! Wonderful video! Amazing techniques.
Would love to see a purse where you use wax canvas or cork fabric.

I've not ever heard of wax canvas and gave yet to use cork. But I used vinyl many times and have many bag videos

I love this bag. I have a piece of fabric that will be perfect for this. Just have to get all the rest. I wanted a cross body bag to take to the fair. This will be just what I need. Thanks for the tute.
