My build: > Head Laser > Assault Arms > Two Shishkababs > Sentry Body > Two Back Rocket Launchers > Assault Legs > Regen Field Basically a deathclaw reker :p
Hey ESO, i love your videos man, i have been watching them for Months now and they still keep me happy, i heard your dyslexic and that makes me even more happy because I'm dyslexic too, keep the good work up
I'm loving the dlc so far but I'm running out of robot ideas. Loved this build and I'm hoping for more. Gotta say I built a really awesome funny robot though. Protectron arms and legs with mr handy torso. He's pink with an assaultron voice and hammer saw blades. Super high melee damage and get this, his name... Is... Testicle. Make more robot builds please. Cool ones cause I'm not creative I'm just derp.
I made a almost full on assaultron, but with the brain head. Left weapon do 433 and right hand do 503 damage it says... My robot could pretty much kill anything without my help. Often kill stuff before I get to attack. I play, well, my newest character I started 4 days ago is a melee guy, so I wanted my companion robot to be melee aswell, and I found that that is by far the best. When I gave her a flamer or lasers, she would not do much of anything. My robot got a stealth blade and construction claw thingy, she grab raiders by the throat and stab them... look bad ass, and with assaultron legs, she runs super fast and charge enemies instantly killing them. I've seen her kill legenderies that even I have to hit 6 - 10 times before they die sometimes unless I crit a ton. I'm level 39 atm I believe. I always wanted to have a assaultron follower so when I heard about this DLC I was real happy, and so far I enjoy it. Its a good one. Glad I got the pass before the price got jacked up too! :)
Damn, 800+ damage altogether? Mine has a Gatling laser and missile launcher and he doesn't get anywhere close to that... Could they benefit from your melee perks?
The Robobrain torso doesn't have less defense. It only shows a change because you currently have armor on the Assaultron torso and when you switch to the Robobrain torso, it doesn't have armor. If you switch to the Robobrain torso and then put the same quality armor on it, then the net change is zero. Same situation when you show the arms in this video. That being said, the Assaultron torso looks cooler.
I already did this with my robot before this vid was made lol- although i found a good compromise is to put sentry arms and have one arm wield a gatling laser so it can get in free damage from a distance, this will also incite most melee enemies/ creatures to close the gap on your robot rather than you since it will pull aggro from far away
Great video, I don't think dealing more damage with the shishkebab would have any negative affect on damage, but since it is light up it will give you away more easily.
The reason it does damage because it's dead is because it's an DLC. Let me explain. The game is set up in such a way that living entities, also known as intractable AI based entities, retain their passive abilities when they "die". Being dead, in this case, being when a non-killable or essential NPC is temporarily incapacitated. The same thing applies to robots. Robot's don't really die, but enter a passive state of being incapacitated, that they have no list of actions, but you can interact with them to revive them. But because they don't really die, and presumably because some programmer was too lazy to add a new state class, passive effects still applies to robots. A little insight into the flawed cog works of Fallout 4... ^^
The mr handy torso is actually the beefiest torso considering damage resistance. It has the most armor slots. But limits offensive capabilities due to removing a head slot. In my opinion I think the assaultron legs are the best for melee. Great mobility, way better armor, and has more carry weight than the thruster. I don't really agree that this is the best melee build.
+Cullum Mckenzie don't need stealth when I got a sentry bot with dual exploding minigu-(sentry bot breaks down) uh... it can still charge at them (dies in an instant due to concentrated fire) You know what, fuck you guys.
if you use the mr handy torso you can also equip mr handy arms on the thruster, these can use lasers, flamers and the tesla gun, ontop of the claw and saw melee weapons, though you can't use the ranged weapons on the mr handy arms if you use normal arms. Building like this allows you to have 5 total weapons but you'd lose a head other then the mr handy eye.
This isn't the best Melee build for robots but it is a very good guide for starting in Automatron. The best I believe is Assaultron Legs, Arm, Torso and Head Laser with voltaic frame on the left leg, right leg, both arms and torso, hydraulic frame on head and mid part of legs, the weapons are both Shishkebabs as this stacks with the voltaic frame alongside the laser head. Tesla coils are the misc for damage
I gave mine a protection automatic laser attatchment to her assaultron arm. It actually works quite well as her assaultron build causes her to close in while laying down suppresive fire then gets in close and starts smacking things with her protection arm and hammer/saw charging that face laser the whole time. I know mr. handy thrusters are faster and dont get disabled I love how much like a soldiet she looks like charging ahead laying down suppresive till close enough to use melee
You just gave me a new idea about how to build one of my robots. BTW just thought id mention it, the mod that marks targets only marks them if they are actively engaging you it seems.
Also, rad coils make it a bit more difficult to kill ghouls. But if your going up against raiders or brotherhood of steel, they do nicely. BTW once you get it unlocked, I recommend using the mister handy body, as you can upgrade the melee damage a LOT because you can mount the three lower arms, and put a saw blade on each of them. Hope it helps. there are MANY different ways to build these things and its quite amazing. I hope in one of the dlc's they do something like this with our power armor. Or maybe give us a new type of power armor that functions like a sentry bot. 2 hand weapons, 2 back weapons. Takes much more cores to power it. Can only be used outside.
I like using assaultron legs because my robot charges and tackles enemies down, and just stabs the shit out of them. I also have the deathclaw face armor that lights them on fire too. Didn't think I'd have this much fun with this dlc to be honest
I usually equip Ada whos my main companion with gatling lasers, then max out heavy gunner which increases her damage output, but I can't get sneak attack damage with her like that, in early game she's great, but later in the game I dont even really need her help, I can kill a legendary queen on my own with Atom's Judgement, and I'm mostly just use her as a pack mule since companions can be commanded to pick up items even when they're full
+seanie russell It's pretty good, Not very extensive with the robot parts though, If you haven't got it yet you should probably wait until it goes on offer or something.
does the stealth blade "silent weapon" do anything? Like making enemies unaware that it killed someone with that weapon when they would be aware if you used a shishkebab for example? Does it do more stealth damage? Make it easier for the robot to get a stealth kill somehow? Or does it not make a difference :/
+Nolan Cowlard He didnt finish the dlc, there are WAY more mods available then this. Even if you lack craft components or perks, they will still show up.
Feel like they should have made it so you could paint your robots with the unique paints you get from the hot rodder magazines, or made a similar magazine for unique robot paint styles. Would have loved a shark painted sentry bot.
A great build for medium range is Sentry bot head Monkey helm Sentry bot arms with voltaic armor Assaultron legs with voltaic Robrain body with voltaic parts and shock With duel Gatling lasers on arms
noted how you build a robot truely a tank is sentry bot type which don't use big treds, use the robobrain treds instead because using the sentry bot's leg is really super big and will have hard time going small place that is size human walk in narrow area. Ok as I said sentry bot is most more tankish then assulttron because they always do, either choose have cluster cannon, or either mini nuke on the back if you got sentry torso, as that you want use 2 gatling gun either laser or bullet which you want your arms be sentry because they still do major dmg close up, make sure sentry bot head because it is program for mid range better then super close up so it has more control of his cannon in the back. Your robot will be great diverson kick every robot ass. Building pure tanky melee would be full set sentry bot with its full max armor or either has tesla armor and tesla field because they do lots dmg more then stealth blade, and additonal shishkabob blade is best for close up burn and eletrified dmg all in one. I've tested and its the smashing killing power I seen so far. (noted tested raiders and all the way legendaries enemies including death claw) If your robot is not tanky enough and part of him/her leg break make sure you have medic weapons which this will still heal your robot still magicly I mean fucking really magically. I've tested using few my protector bots that I did not put armor on them only change the arm weapon to be rapid fire hand to see of breaking faster and healing faster while they are breaking. It work successfully and medicing your own robot is best way to make it keep on tanking like awesome badass robot.
ESO when you beat the dlc you unlock all the mods and when you do you can put mr. handy arms on the thruster along with your normal robot arms, just a though for a new build...
There are far more parts that boost melee damage, and you can add the Mr. Handy arms on top of the two existing arms, for a total of five melee arms. I also use the Robobrain head because it is a nearly guaranteed long range hit. I also tested doing a close range + long range arm. Best combo I found was the heavy incinerator with gatling laser. One is indirect fire, other in direct fire. Then add the three Mr. Handy Arms for melee. Totally OP IMO.
You're right. I must have mixed up my mod. I believe I went assaultron legs with gatling laser, heavy flamer, and robobrain head. For my Mr. Handy thruster build, I put two gatling lasers and a mr. handy eye for longer engagements.
Close to my build. Robobrain head, mesmertron attack instead of head laser. Replaced one stealth blade with the Nuka-cherry launcher, highest damage in the game. Hydraulic armor for all body parts.
Steroids McOverkill, a Sentry-like murderbot (and his even insane twin brother): Complete Automatron and max yo robot engineer build cuz this one gets a little awesome. Oh and Inspirational 2+ is a must or it *may* kill you by accident. First off, build it. Obviously. Then name it... Yes, you'll wanna make sure you know this spike boi's teeming with rage easily. Head (Robobrain optional)- Assaultron Head Lazer. Torso- Sentry (mandatory). Torso weapons (Reccomended one each)- Clusterbomb and Fatman. One on either side. Clusterbomb for a stable weapon in longer fights, Fatman to end a petty group instantly. Arms- Whatever you feel. Sentry is kinda bulky, and Assaultrons are low carry but... Whatever works. Hands: Gatling Lazers. Normal. Unstable is well... Slightly higher dps but can't endure all the abuse. Legs- Just not Sentry. I know, I know... why the hell not Sentry for a Sentry-like build? Answer: Doorways. Armor- Aim for spike bleed, and high energy damage. You wanna buff the Energy Damage for the guns. Why spike bleed? Style. Color: Red. Last thing an enemy sees is a demonic looking murder machine covered in blood and spikes, dusting the raider gang and nuking the battlefield. Like a boss. Voice: Sentry. Because Steroids McOverkill doesn't give a f---, he wants to be feared and hated. Because he himself is a hateful nightmare tech-sonofied. Special torso mod- Tesla (Recommended), Hacking/Lockpicking (if underskilled), or (for Glass Roboteers) Resistance field. Survival Moders, use Regeneration field. Saves you from stimming your budget away. Just hug McOverkill, and mind the pointy and sparky bits. Be sure to hunt for some Troubleshooter gear and grind Rogue Bots to keep the Robot Repair kits flowing like oil... Err, wine. Behold. Steroids McOverkill. He's ready. Not overkill enough? Fine. Masotron McOverkill, Steroids McOverkill's psychotic self-hating twin. For a Masotron variant, destabilize all weapons with dual Explosive Miniguns, dual Fatmen, and the Succubus head armor. You'll have a weapon so dangerous, it hurts itself. I reccommend avoiding this barbaric overkill as it will eventually ruin all five weapons and will need Tesla Coils to damage anything. Adding that will at least give him a chance of damaging stuff when unarmed. But no, he gives the Lone Roboteer a Perception field because this thing scares the ever-living crap out of you. Yes, he'd rather fuel your paranoia than have even one backup plan. Deal with it. Oh and Masotron's so far gone, it only speaks in beeps since it shot its own voice module. If it isn't critically damaged somewhere, Masotron isn't happy. Armor it to take all the abuse it can. It loves abuse. Dealing and receiving it. It's Artificially Insane in the mainframe. Do not leave it to babysit small children. You're horrible if you think that's a good idea.
Hey I'm doing the automatron dlc story line but I can't give Ada the first beacon because when I go in the workshop it just gives me mods for her legs an nothing else
Only problem I have with powerful companions is that I don't get the exp. if I see a ton of ghouls racing at me. I think great. And pull out the grenades. Mini guns. Or my super pistol I've built.
"The first thing you need to do is name your robot, it's integral to this build" Well fuck, I have the bug with the dlc that doesn't allow me to name any of them anything other than "automatron".
I am using all assaultron parts with factory armour and laser head, with an automatic laser, stealth blade and stealth field. I am to exaggerating when I say it tears behemoths to shreds
Eso, this might sound creepy but are you still in Newcastle because I live near there and when I was in town I heard someone who sounded exactly like you. I love the vids tho! :)
Idk man, I tried to do this but fro some reason the Mr. Handy Thrusters just didn't work out. For anyone else who watched the video, I recommend the assaultron legs because the thrusters (for me, at least) were even worse at being able to locate the enemy. Plus the assaultron legs have cooler animations
so not counting ada and codsworth - the made from scratch robots...can they die in a fight ? or do they just power down/ go down on one knee like all followers.
Is the Hammer Saw better than the Stealth Blade? I know its only unlockable after the DLC and such, but I know that it does more damage and bleeding damage, but the attacks themselves are slower. So which is better?
I laughed out loud when he say "well I haven't unlocked any paint mods" as it clearly says on the right "available mods" followed with all the paint jobs.
+Cullum Mckenzie Well I mean, I gave up trying to watch these vids quite a while ago because he doesn't seem to know what he's actually talking about. I came back to see if this had changed, but clearly not
My robot name is thunder but after investigating Kellogg home and seeing the prwyden flying through the sky I noticed his name was automation and no matter what I did it was stuck as that no matter how many times I changed it
How many robots can you have at a time?its one robot companion but can i build more, for instance some securitrons or something to guard the settlements and to use them when i want?
i have a glitch where i can't put a second copy of hidden blade. i dunno why but i have correct stats and equipment but i just cannot equip a hidden blade on the left arm. what can it be?
this robot could be a lot better. if he gives everything hydraulic armour it will increase melee damage. as well as this if you wanted it to do bleeding damage on melee hits you could go for the merciless armour (I think that is what it's called).the armour he has now does nothing to increase its melee stats.TLDR: use hydraulic or merciless armour
@@DarcShinobi Yes it does! For some reasons Automatron companions do count as companions and they will effect the lone wanderer perk. Dogmeat is the only companion pet who doesn't effect it.
hey ESO I don't want to be mean or anything but I think the "built" on the title should be "build" BTW I love your videos. but sadly I can't buy the dlc so I can't play it. But watching you play it is almost the same, right?! You are Awesome!!
+ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides are you going to make more of these? If you are could you show us how to make the robot from the trailer (white robot with skill) Or something like that.
If your robot workbench is in the same settlement as your existing robots, they should pop up in the list if customizable robots when you open the robot workbench
a little tip, as ugly as it is, i recomend using teh robobrain head... gives you better armor and health, and teh build in attack is more acurate and dont need so much time to charge up
Hey ESO? I know that you and others have played it and seen it, but could u do a let's play for Fallout 4? And what is the best dlc to get for fallout 3?
My bot "Zeke" uses most assault tron parts and raider rust devil armor and the skull plate but he uses a gatling laser in his right hand and a hatchet in the other he has always run and gunned shooting till he gets close then hacks them to pieces...or blows them away with his wtflaser, So i can confirm they 9/10 dont sit and shoot unless maybe its a specific arm you put the gun to? *shrug*
im no fallout pro heck i dont have the game yet but if i make multiple of them and send them to different settlements wouldmit make the settlement stronger?
+Cullum Mckenzie I don't think any of the feet are silent, but instead add more movement (sentry feet can't access some areas but mr handy thrusters can go anywhere) and also feet affects carry weight
I know it would be less realistic, but i really dont like that you need the blacksmith perk for a good melee robot. I am using a rifle build, so obviously i dont have blacksmith. But i would prefere having a melee robot with me, but i cant make it good because i dont wanna boost up my strength and waste points on a kinda useless perk (for me) to create it...
AlHoresmi i do find assaultron torso/legs/head, but im not sure if I found any weapons for them. But i think i will just use the console to get the blacksmith perks
+HYPERSHADNIC it's not a glitch believe it or not, during loading screens it mentions about the lone wanderer perk and says "while travelling alone, or with a dog you gain boost" or something along them lines
I wish we could have an eyebot companion. I was extremely disappointed when I found out we couldn't have an eyebot companion
I know that they're pretty weak but I really want ED-E from FONV back and we could upgrade it's armor thanks to the duraframe and other eyebot frames and upgrade the guns as well
pc only
wait we can’t nooooo

robobrain head CANT GO WITH MR HANDY THRUSTER ARMS they need both the torso moster handy and the thruster to work
You're right. I must have mixed up my mod. I believe I went assaultron legs with gatling laser, heavy flamer, and robobrain head. For my Mr. Handy thruster build, I put two gatling lasers and a mr. handy eye for longer engagements.
9:43 Neon Genisis Evangelion reference. That's my boy Robbaz 👍
WOW that cut through Ghouls quicker than the Gatling laser did
but slower than a mister five arm gutsy
Mark McGehee got a link to that
Close to my build. Robobrain head, mesmertron attack instead of head laser. Replaced one stealth blade with the Nuka-cherry launcher, highest damage in the game. Hydraulic armor for all body parts.
How do you have Dogmeat and the robot together?
Magic.
You have to buy or find the leash.
You can have a companion when you follow dogmeat as he searches for kellog.
This could be so much better with the stuff you unlock after finishing the dlc
He did it on purpose for those just starting the DLC.
Steroids McOverkill, a Sentry-like murderbot (and his even insane twin brother):
Complete Automatron and max yo robot engineer build cuz this one gets a little awesome.
I feel like the reason why the Creation Kit isn't out yet is just so they could push out these DLCs without the community making the mods themselves
If it was any other company I'd agree but Bethesda has never done anything like that.
+DerpySquid419 yes but it probably is ...I mean it's all about that money money money
+Olly smith Bethesda is probably the only company left that actually tries to satisfy their customers with great dlc's.
+xXFireTheEagleXx It's common knowledge that this is true.
+The Hacker known as 8chan How the hell did you blitz the quest in an hour?
My only problem with using a mr. Handy Thruster instead of legs is that it seems like any robot with it gets staggered quicker
Hey I'm doing the automatron dlc story line but I can't give Ada the first beacon because when I go in the workshop it just gives me mods for her legs an nothing else
I am going for a DPS build. The Newer DLCs added items for the robot, can you make a updated DPS build?
Only problem I have with powerful companions is that I don't get the exp. if I see a ton of ghouls racing at me. I think great. And pull out the grenades. Mini guns. Or my super pistol I've built.
How come if u put hydraulic armor on the right assaultron hand it has a stroke and is sideways?
how does the stealth field work? did you cover it and i missed it? or am i going dyslexic
So, the radiation array is a cheaper way of getting tesla coild, exept it doesnt affect robots or irradiated enemies.
Btw I love this channel.
+Connor Hobbs btw I do too
"The first thing you need to do is name your robot, it's integral to this build" Well fuck, I have the bug with the dlc that doesn't allow me to name any of them anything other than "automatron".
I am using all assaultron parts with factory armour and laser head, with an automatic laser, stealth blade and stealth field. I am to exaggerating when I say it tears behemoths to shreds
Wich is a sniper robot good setup?
Чувак даже ещё не все модификации открыл, но уже снимает гайд)
+Leon Tilian, we got a badass over here! :D
I kinda want to put this robot against Vinyllic Puma's automatron to see which is the better bot.
Hey ESO could make a guide for the best tank robot build? I would really appreciate it!
Get a robot with everything sentry bot but Robobrain head and Laser Gatling weapons.
+Aodhan Newton-Creemers and use voltaic armour to increase the laser gatlers damage
Question: if you have the Mr. Handy floaty bit, can you also attach all the Mr. Handy buzzsaws, or is that for the torso piece?
Torso piece.
Just get mr handy torso
With the Mr. Handy torso would you be able to equip the assaultron arms AND the Mr. Handy arms for ultimate slice 'n dice, or just the Mr. Handy arms?
+TheValiantBob Yes, you can do that, but it doesn't work as well as you think it would unfortunately.
I love my mostly sentry bot bodied floating junk of armor.
Dear Mr. ESO, I would like to ask you, does have a robot companion stop the Lone Wanderer perk for working?
+DJ Dogdick Thanks.
so not counting ada and codsworth - the made from scratch robots...can they die in a fight ? or do they just power down/ go down on one knee like all followers.
They go down and come back after combat is finished. You can bring them back up with a Repair Kit which acts like a stimpak.
+nameless face in the crowd I don't know why a follower would be able to be killed after spending dozens of resources on it..
Joltiwolfe Game who knows, just checking. Thanks guys
when I put the thruster on a mele robot they can't attack help plz
Is the Hammer Saw better than the Stealth Blade? I know its only unlockable after the DLC and such, but I know that it does more damage and bleeding damage, but the attacks themselves are slower. So which is better?
i think it attacks slower
with the Arbitration mod, the flamer becomes by far the best weapon for bots
Use the Voltaic armour upgrades and the Shishkebabs.
How do you name your robot? I can't it just goes back to automatron for me
Use sentry arms instead they make the stealth blades do more damage.
ESO you should try shishkebabs with voltaic armors you get in the end of the dlc which boosts energy damage ; )
Or Gatling lasers
I would've preferred they added an "Assaultron Dominator" upgrade where crouching would enable a stealth boy effect to the robot only.
wait, is that a real thing?
+Parallax77 Assaultron Dominator?
+David N. They start appearing at higher levels. They're Assaultrons that have two blades for hands and utilize stealth.
I like the head laser but I hate how low accuracy it is, so I go with robobrain head
I came back to see if this had changed, but clearly not
+Yabbamann yeah I sometimes think that but I just leave comments to try and teach the fellow commenters and ESO what they are getting wrong.
Yes
i have a glitch where i can't put a second copy of hidden blade.
i dunno why but i have correct stats and equipment but i just cannot equip a hidden blade on the left arm.
what can it be?
*right arm
Do you have all the materials? Look down, you might be missing screws
i have
Hey Eso in skyrim witch armor is better light armor or heavy armor? Thx m8
this robot could be a lot better. if he gives everything hydraulic armour it will increase melee damage. as well as this if you wanted it to do bleeding damage on melee hits you could go for the merciless armour (I think that is what it's called).the armour he has now does nothing to increase its melee stats.TLDR: use hydraulic or merciless armour
Thanks!
"and let silent as da night brah finish them off" lol
I would name mine "Quiet".
Sounds threatening, doesn't it?
Does it count as a companion? Does it negate Lone Wander perk?
anyone??
@@DarcShinobi Yes it does! For some reasons Automatron companions do count as companions and they will effect the lone wanderer perk. Dogmeat is the only companion pet who doesn't effect it.
hey ESO I don't want to be mean or anything but I think the "built" on the title should be "build" BTW I love your videos. but sadly I can't buy the dlc so I can't play it. But watching you play it is almost the same, right?! You are Awesome!!
+LordMiqu thanks for he kind words and pointing that out =)
+ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides No problem. And thanks that you replied. :D
+ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides hey eso in the dlc starting guide you were barely taking any damage what Armour did you have on?
+ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides are you going to make more of these? If you are could you show us how to make the robot from the trailer (white robot with skill)
Or something like that.
It does say build.
nice build
How do you upgrade existing robots that is already built within the settlement already??
If your robot workbench is in the same settlement as your existing robots, they should pop up in the list if customizable robots when you open the robot workbench
a little tip, as ugly as it is, i recomend using teh robobrain head... gives you better armor and health, and teh build in attack is more acurate and dont need so much time to charge up
can you do a guide on the loading screen robot? the one with the skull?
Typical Gamer Guy i know i saw it, i just want to see this guy do it
For some reason the stealth blade doesn't show up as an option for my toon.
try doing more of the dlc missions, unlock more upgrades
+Artameful Turns out you have to have at least one perk point in sneak. - . -
Can you only have one robot with you as a companion?
Hey ESO? I know that you and others have played it and seen it, but could u do a let's play for Fallout 4? And what is the best dlc to get for fallout 3?
The Pitt or Pointlookout IMO
+Naku Rankka Pitt is amazing
Or just buy Goty edition since it comes cheaper than buying them separated. Its about 20e.
*shrug*
That's because Gatling lasers are close range weapons because of the low accuracy.
im no fallout pro heck i dont have the game yet but if i make multiple of them and send them to different settlements wouldmit make the settlement stronger?
Yeah but they are really expensive when it comes to materials
Is it actually silent? Or does it just sorta run in like Leeroy after killing one thing?
It isn't silent the mr handy thruster is loud.
+Cullum Mckenzie I don't think any of the feet are silent, but instead add more movement (sentry feet can't access some areas but mr handy thrusters can go anywhere) and also feet affects carry weight
How does stealth work with a robot like this? Ada is terrible I always have to make her stay somewhere before sneaking around
stealth blades dont make noise
+Zenowitz22 but the mr handy thruster is about as stealthy as sentry bot legs.
Cullum Mckenzie Yup... these robots are useful if you want to go loud and fuck shit up, but otherwise I'm staying with Piper with full shadowed armor.
+Philippe assaultron with stealth blades is stealthy.
I think the best is ahab's head on a sentry head cuz it gives flames for melee
I made Ahab
I know it would be less realistic, but i really dont like that you need the blacksmith perk for a good melee robot. I am using a rifle build, so obviously i dont have blacksmith. But i would prefere having a melee robot with me, but i cant make it good because i dont wanna boost up my strength and waste points on a kinda useless perk (for me) to create it...
can't you just find the parts you need?
AlHoresmi i do find assaultron torso/legs/head, but im not sure if I found any weapons for them. But i think i will just use the console to get the blacksmith perks
Yeah ikr, like why do you need to know how to make a sword. Should be Easier than making a gun receiver just saying
If my robot dies, do I have to completely restart or is it like power armour where I just have to repair it?
It's like a companion: I think you can just wait
+JuanInA Million you can just wait like 5 seconds or if your impatient you can use a robot repair kit.
you can wait or use a different kind of stimpack called a repair kit.
you can make them in the chemistry station
can you benefit from the lone wanderer perk and use an automatron atbthe same time?
+Alex Kok no
No
No, but the Dog Meat glitch still works.
He still doesn't count as a companion, even though the perks description says he should.
+HYPERSHADNIC it's not a glitch believe it or not, during loading screens it mentions about the lone wanderer perk and says "while travelling alone, or with a dog you gain boost" or something along them lines
joseph Forsyth
it says, "With the LW perk, you gain more carry weight while traveling without companions or pets"
i have not unlocked anny paint jobs yet
but has a lot of avalible paint jobs
