- On TLC's Sister Wives, cast members Kody and Robyn seem overly interested in the comings and goings on at Coyote Pass. Christine sold her share to Kody & Robyn, Meri has been asked to move out of state to her B&B, and Janelle has been harassed and bullied regarding her desire to stay on the property so she can move forward with building on her land. All of this sounds fishy and I'm not referring to that dried out hole they call a pond.
They keep calling it a pond, but it's really just a gross drainage ditch full of prairie dog plague.

Kody is creepy and he's not very smart either. He actually thought he could scare Christine into doing what he wanted by telling her that if she moved to Utah and was divorced that the state would come in and take her daughter. How stupid does he think Christine must be?

Kody said earlier on that the other kids bullied Robyn’s kids. I saw Robyn’s kids bully Janelle and Savannah about the RV. Of course so were Kody and Robyn. Either of them should be coming up with alternatives or solutions. Getting the property hooked up with the utilities or putting the RV at a place that has that. Didn’t see Kody arbitrarily buying Christine’s house and saying Janelle I bought a house for you to live in for the times you don’t want to be in the RV or when you want to sell it. He bought a house with Robyn being on board. He is stretched too thin. This family structure is full of unequal treatment and manipulation. And there is no time to make up or reason to make up. Everyone can be a jerk to their family but being family there is time together and it gets sorted. That does not happen in this set up. There is no time.
Kody is so lowdown. Robyn does nothing but she gets everything the other women have had to make it on their own.

But it’s what Christine predicted in Season 1, she said, that she didn’t like Kody’s relationship with Robyn because it seemed like he was replacing the family with Robyn and her kids. 10 plus years later he’s saying,” bye bye” to the original wives and “their” kids.
Kody was on the deed originally because Christine had not sold her Vegas home. Once that sold, Kody's name was off the flagstaff house. Bravo Christine!
The only reason Kody provided initial funding for Christine’s house is because she hadn’t yet sold the LasVegas house.
Once it was sold the house was refinanced with Christine putting the Vegas proceeds towards it and Christine become the sole owner.
Robyn may think she, her desires, her wicked impulses are hidden, but nothing is hidden. We ALL SEE TRUTH!

He’s emotionally abandoned all but Robyn and he didn’t have any power over Christine, despite his crazy lies, so he’s a complete fraud as a polygamist. No celestial kingdom in his future. 🤣🤣
The rental property theory is really interesting and I think Robyn and Kody would love to do this but I don't think they will ever be able to financially. The property has no infrastructure, no roads, no electricity, no water, no sewage etc. I don't believe for a second that they will ever be able to get their finances in order enough to develop this property. The work it needs is just too extensive. It was such an ill thought-out purchase. My bet is that they will end up selling it. Robyn is the ONLY wife left at this point. Janelle and Christine and their kids are the real connected/loving family here. I hope that Janelle moves to Utah to be with Christine and her kids and that some of Janelle kids follow suit. I feel the most pity for Robyn's first 3 kids as they are trapped with those 2 highly dysfunctional, toxic parents. I hope they leave Robyn's house, sooner than later. All of the Brown kids need counseling on how to survive a narcissistic parent.
Yup. And they need all of them and the revenue they bring in. Realistically even with the break down of the salary from the show. Now the money they’re paying Christine is walking out the door. I swear he only keeps Meri around because she’s a workhorse Meri is an earner he wants that money too.
Not only all those things , the property dirt has to be treated every bit off it because of bubonic plaque that the ground hogs have from the fleas. They leave that out it will be very expensive. With Janelle having her dogs out there it may cause a bigger problem. They can’t get their finances together and they won’t get any offers if they try to sell. Money pit is what it is.

it’s bizarre to have land and do nothing with it for so long. At this point, I wish they would just admit they don’t have the money to start it let alone finish it. Robin acting as if she goes there to meditate on how great her land will be was ridiculous. I almost guarantee if she ran into Janelle, she would leave.
And VERY expensive land. My son bought over 100 acres for less than they paid per lot. Development of the land into a habitable neighborhood will cost tens of millions. My husband has done that very thing in Utah.
This guy has an insightful take on Kody's plan for Coyote Pass. It is pretty clear Kody does not intend for his wives to live on this property. I thought it was really strange when he and Robin bought that elaborate and very expensive house. That they would invest all the money in a temporary home rather than build on the property they all shared. They had to have had the resources available to start building if they were able to get a loan for that extremely expensive house, they live in. They all pitched in and got the property and Kody and Robyn will end up with it all. Mari and Janelle need to get an attorney and sever ties with them before it is too late. Meri was smart to branch out and find a way to secure the bed and breakfast. She has her own businesses if she breaks free. It seems that Janelle lived in the least expensive rentals and lived the simplest lifestyle. I wonder if she has money saved up for herself or if she only has a little trailer. Should she decide to leave I hope she has set aside a nice sized nest egg for all the years she has gone without. I hope neither of them sell the property to Kody and Robyn for 10$. The pain and suffering they have had to endure over the years, is worth much more than that.
Keep in mind, when they sold all their homes in Nevada all the money went into the family funds. When they got to Arizona, almost all the money went to Robin/Kodys home. They drained everyone for their personal luxury. They are going to drive the other wives crazy so they can run them off. They've taken their cash, their credit, land, life energy, and legacy.
I think your right, now that Christine is leaving with her money from the sale of her house, he won't let Janelle get away with doing the same thing. Besides Robyn is living in a two million dollar house, why does she need to build? It's the log cabin at the top of the property. Kody lied to Christine about Truley, possibly being taken away by the state, he was angry and told her to get a lawyer, he wants 50/50 custody, he's gone off the deep end. He has lied upon lie to scare her into staying. She needs to go, and not look back.

#1. You're 100% correct. I know that the next wife Kody will put his energy into making leave is Janelle, but he's going to have a very hard time prying that property out of Janelle's hands. It's funny if you look at it, one by one all of Robyn's competition are no longer a threat. She and Meri are allegedly close and yet, she keeps encouraging Meri to stay, not because she wants her around but apparently Meri makes a ton of money. Then there's Christine, during the Catfish season, Christine and Robyn got very close, but based on the things Kody spews when he's angry at Christine, I'm guessing that the story we get from the show and the story Robyn is telling are hugely different. The only wife Robyn cannot get close to is Janelle, I have the feeling that when she can finally go after Janelle, it will not be pretty.
That's ok. When she goes for Janelle, Janelle will shred her into pieces without having to touch her.

Janelle is smarter than Robyn… Robyn flattered Kody… Kody mistook Robyn’s behavior for “love & loyalty”…Robyn is out for Robyn. I’m hoping Janelle stays long enough to make some money to replace her retirement acct and her original house she “donated”… Kody is a grifter… the “church” reflects badly in his behavior…to all him a “good man” is twisted.

I think there is zero intention to anything with coyote pass except sell it. Then they'll take that money and give a tiny bit to Janelle and meri in the hopes that they will consider it a severance package and jet. Then kody and robyn will continue to live in Robyn's comfy home and pretend the whole sister wife thing was a fever dream.
(Also, I would put money on them trying to spin the sell of coyote pass like this: "we have to sell coyote pass because it is jjust too painfu. When we bought it, Christine was part of our vision and dream. Now that she's gone, it's just too painful to envision a life there without her". Or something to that effect. )

Robyn's house is attached to the CP property, you see her minivan in the driveway sometimes in the film someone actually found the legal documents that prove she already lives on the property. The property dream was a sham.

How right you are. You notice things other you tubers miss, such as Kody wanting wives to have security in their homes and then crying ‘it belongs to the family’.
He has a lot of nerve saying that he and Robyn made the down payment on Christine's house and therefore deserve the profits from the sale. What about the 30k dollars that the family paid down of debt that Robyn brought into the family? Where's Christine's return on that?

Wow you laid that out great I can't believe I never even thought about some of these things! Robin does have a part of everything. There's no security for any of the other wives but her. The otherwise wouldn't have any legal recourse going up against her for the properties. Seems like Christine's a lot smarter than people thought she was get out of it now girl and run.

When Cody married Robyn didn't the other wives have to dig into their "own" household budgets to pay off Robyn's debts from her previous marriage? Also all the wives had to have their own income to pay their household bills. There never was any talk about how much Cody gave each wife to help with those bills.
I think your right. To my understanding each wife is responsible for her own house and living expenses. Robyn hasn't worked since day 1 and it seems like Kody is around the other wives long enough to reach into their piggy banks.

Like you, Coyote Pass picked at my mind. I don't know where Kody's idea of a compound is heading. So much $ is owed on all parcels and if it did get paid, where is the BIG 💰 going to come from to build ? From plumbing, running water, electric, sanitary disposal before even building homes ? This never really made sense. Janelle is smart. Has a house on wheels to get outta Dodge quickly, should she need to. And it's all in her own name.
Janelle living on the land is a big thorn in Kody's side. This just isn't working into his plans. She has him in an unspoken standoff and he knows it. He can't afford to lose her at this point. Wife with Wheels is very telling. Janelle sez it without words !

If someone was going to to sit and enjoy the view and relax, the last place it would be on a randomly placed, uncomfortable bench. She looked ridiculous and her bad acting was evident. Love your takes! Somone noticed in a scene where they all drive to coyote pass you pass kody and Robyn's house to the entrance of coyote pass. So kody and Robyn already live there! Robyn possibly does go out to her backyard, sit on a bench to gaze over over her kingdom.

I think you are right on this one. Could it be why Janelle is planing her exit strategically? Janelle is the only wife that was trusted him enough to not really invest outside this family now she's practically homeless and he doesn't care. I home she is being advised by somebody. Christine was very smart about her exit strategy.
No 1. You are right. With Christine the scapegoat gone I feel family dynamics will change. Janelle is intelligent, hard working, and financially savvy, Kody did not seem upset by the fact that she had nowhere to live. Janelle seems kind and she loves her family. I think Robyn wants Janelle out of the picture. How much will Janelle tolerate? Robyn will not be content to allow Janelle to be happy and live on Coyote Pass. If they gang up and bully Janelle they may be the biggest loser. I do not think that Meri and Robyn like Janelle.
Meri has never liked Janelle. I think, if I recall correctly, Janelle was married to Meri's brother prior to marrying Kody.
Janelle is smart about living on the land, I think she's a realtor so she knows staying on the land is important with everything that's happening in there family.

I think Robyn is very manipulative. She can twist Kody around her little finger. She doesn't want Jamelle or Mary to leave because she does not want Kody to take new wives. She knows he is not attracted to Mary or Janelle sexually but a new wife might replace Ro yn as Kody's favorite.
I think she's more manipulative than that. Yeah she'll be unhappy if he takes new lives that are prettier and younger and can give him babies. But she also knows she's the legal wife, she can make life really miserable for him.
My devious mind has Kody brainwashing Aurora and Breanna into becoming his new sister wives. Sobbin has said that she is submissive to Kody. She might pretend to cry but she knows what side her bread is buttered.
I think Christine sold for $10 to privatize the sale. In that way, the real sale terms remain private.

He mentioned several seasons ago that he could just sell the land and double his money. They gave him an ugly look and he zipped it real quick. THAT is his plan.

I really like James' take on the Brown Family. He is spot on with his comments. Janelle needs to find a legal way to separate her lot on Choyote Pass immediately. She should get permits to put utilities on the lot, get them installed and at least put her camper on her lot. If she has legal access to the "family accounts she should take her share out.. Kody is a greedy person and he wants everything for himself.

Well Cody sat right there in front of everybody and said Robin's been coming to me from the beginning talking about how the other was and kids abused her and her children. Super interesting rental theory. On one hand I wouldn't think they would want to do this because they would want to use the property to get away from everyone else, but on the other hand Kody will do anything for money. All in all I think the people saying they'll never be able to build there due to expense / lack of infrastructure are probably right. They'll probably end up selling it in the end.
1. So spot on! Wonder if in the grand plan of things Robyn mentions inherittance. Kody has never mentioned it but we know whatever Robyn say's and feel's become's Kody's idea as she would have us believe. The Coyote pass property is a logistical nightmare. Before building they will have to have testing on the soil because of a history of bubonic plague in the fleas of the prairie dog. If it tests positive there will have to be soil remediation. It’s also a private, gated community. The Brown family is responsible for ALL infrastructure inside that gate. They have to pay to have electricity piped to the property, septic tanks (permit nightmares) and they have not tested to see how deep they have to dig for water. These idiots went into this without researching any of this! I had a friend in California that had to pay PG&E $20,000 to bring electricity to his water well approx 500 ft from the road.
Kody makes a lot of "Executive Decisions". A lot more than we know about, I bet. According to what he said, he's going to be
making a whole lot more from now on.

Even just the plots of land would be a significant estate for Robyn's kids. Even if they don't build rentals on the properties
They told him he could get rich. So he didn't develop it. As he sat in the Robyn Mansion.
Janelle has a full time not sitting watching what Cody and Robin are doing
#1 Correct Kody wants all the wealth. Meri, Christine and Janelle helped for close to 30 years to build their assets but when leaving its is all Kody's, they have no claim. Robyn came in with debts but now have more than the other wives but do not work and gets no support for her kids by former marriage. Kody even claims Truely, well at least 50%, who almost died under his care and who he hardly sees. He also do not claim half of the medical expenses for his kids with Christine. No Christine had to work her butt off to find money for it. For Kody everything is just about him.
👍🙃 I believe Robyn's current house is adjacent to Coyote Pass, they added the cistern on the hill near her house. Building one big house makes no sense since there is no resale value. Robyn and Kody have some privacy with the trees around her house. Kody learned early on from a realtor that it would be profitable to build houses on Coyote Pass to sell or rent. They bought 4 large parcels. Janelle's newly proposed parcel was larger so she could set up her self sustaining garden (which I doubt is possible with that soil, she would need greenhouses IMO. I believe Kody's one house plan was a red herring conflict storyline for the show. The kids were mostly grownup and gone already, there was no need for a communal house. Kody's plan all along, IMO, is to break up the 4 lots into 8 to 10 smaller lots and build a new subdivision as a developer and sell and/or rent for income properties. If he can separate Christine, Meri and Janelle from their parcels, all the better, IMO.
My mom has a lovely garden in Flag. The growing season is short, but even without it is doable-- except for tomatoes. They are always a dissapointment.
@@Katie-qg7xz I would also worry about the Prairie Dogs feeding in her garden. The Prairie Dogs are host to fleas, which are host to the Yersinia pestis bacterium (cause of the black plague).
@@katpillar4131 She has raised beds with most of the edible plants. The herbs and flowers are on the ground, but she hasn't had any difficulties with Prarie dogs. Do you?
@@Katie-qg7xz When they were looking at Coyote Pass to buy, the realtor brought up that Prairie Dogs were on the property. Yersinia pestis is endemic in the Western US. Raised beds won't keep out other wildlife either. It will be more challenging for her at Coyote Pass than closer in the city, IMO. I just hope Janelle finds property better suited to her hobby.
Cody actually mentioned this a couple seasons ago right after they moved there. He had found out that it would be better to split up into several properties and sell them off for a good profit.
