  • The story and process of how a friend and I bought an abandoned MK1 Toyota Yaris to get it back on the road and flip it for profit.
Throughout the video we serviced the car for its first time in 3 years, changed out some worn parts, and did our best to get the car back into good condition for the next owner.

Great video, I like your style. Quick, clear and with some jokes. Hopefully you'll do some more flipping in the future, its great content!

Yaris’ are great. Bulletproof cars. I have one as a daily and one I’m turbocharging for Sprinting. Both 1.0ltr. The 1SZ engines in them are good for 200k miles no problem.

That's cool what you're doing. And yes, exactly what I heard too, they're great cars👍

Why turbocharge 1 liter? Sure will that engine not blow up? 😂

@@Konkel529 due to class structure in sprinting which is a form of UK motorsport. Forced induction carries a x1.4 capacity penalty so you can have a 1400cc NA car but if going turbo it has to be less than 1 litre. Yes it might blow up but the block is iron and I think the only true weaknesses are the rods and pistons but that can be overcome with enough money. I also have gearbox concerns! 🤦🏻‍♂️. There is an HKS turbo kit available for these and I have one but will eventually go the fabricated manifold route with a bigger turbo. I may need a spare gearbox or three.

@Konkel529 I'm also turboing my 1.0l Micra, hopefully with the right tune and minimal abuse to the engine it won't blow up🤣

I've been waiting for a lot of parts to arrive recently.
I've got a new sill which Im currently welding on, so that will probably be the next video. I'm also trying to make a custom wing/spoiler for the car and in terms of the turbo I just got an intercooler which I'll be trying to fit on the car and do all the piping for it asap.👍

nice, good job. Did you do NCT on it?

    • @the_mintiest_micra

We were planning to get NCT originally but ended up not doing so, and it still sold. The main reason was the waiting times and getting the car there and back.
