Thanks to Gibson for being so cool and showing other guitars.
Yeah, good for them.
I agree. This is really great

Yes 3
Yes, thanks to Gibson for letting that happen. Jim DeCola worked for Fender for 11 years. So I'm sure he has some nice Fenders in his personal stash.
I’m the Guitar Center employee that sold you that ‘62 ES-345!! Great to see you’re enjoying it!
No I am
@@midnite_in_november BULLSHIT! I am!
I’m your boss, get back to work.
I am Spartacus
No! I am Sparticus
always appreciate that you dont just show the Gibsons but everything else too
Feels good when you hear Mark say “all EQ’s att noon and just a little bit of reverb”❤️
he said the thing
Dude, he means straight up like on a clock ya goofus, Seriously, lololol
Anybody know who he means as our Lord and savior played a Tv yellow Jr? Anybody?
@@andrewstricklin182 he means keef Richards ofc
Gay
Forgot more Cowbell
It's cool that he still checks out the Fenders.
I doubt that there exists a Gibson owner that doesn’t own a Fender, and vice-versa. I also think Gibson and Fender are keenly aware of this fact.
@@haroldroberts5250 It's cool that two leading brands embrace each other and compete against each other at the same time.
100%!
@@haroldroberts5250 my stepdad bought "only a gibson is good enough" hook line and sinker and has never even played one.
@Jew Tube it's actually quite the opposite. He's not great, but definitely knows how to play and helped me get many things when I was first learning
One thing I like about this channel is that there is no disregard shown for Fender, Gretsch ,Rickenbacker, or any other brand guitars although it’s a Gibson channel. I like that. This is the way it should be.
I want to see Angus Youngs SG Collection , Rumors say he has hundreds of them ! :-D
I got backstage with four 60's SGs and several other guitars in October 1983 when AC/DC was touring with Stevie Ray Vaughn, Stevie came out of his dressing room and was very friendly and played a few of our guitars, couldn't get near Angus' dressing room, when they walked by to go onstage they were surrounded by bodyguards and we held up the SGs, they looked over but the bodyguards wouldn't let us near, that was that. Funny thing they were all about 5 foot tall, and Stevie was maybe 5'5".
When are we getting Father Billy Gibbons
🤞🏼
This has to happen!!
And slash!
Billy and Slash are some very good suggestions.
I'd love to see Angus Young's SG collection.
i love this Series!! finally!
“This one, I probably wouldn’t hand to someone - unless they’re like, a _full_ adult.”
and DOESN'T hand to Mark, lmao damn
I laughed out loud.
What guitar was that?
Ahh the Martin
Hetfields collection would be insane, plus he always comes off so passionate and humble.
Great idea!
@gibson great idea after the interview with kirk hammet where the subject wasnt about his gibson collection
Is he into vintage?? Cause I didn’t think so.
@@malcolmadams2105 I did some work with Kirk about a decade ago, went over to Metallica HQ a few times. I looked at James' cases in the room where they keep all their stored gear. Other than his early 80s guitars, I don't remember seeing any vintage guitars. Almost exclusively the custom Explorer and LP style guitars he's known for playing on stage. Maybe he's got a vintage stash at home.
@@malcolmadams2105 Hammett and Hetfield have insane vintage guitar collections. Both own original 58-59' Explorers, Hammett owns a '57 prototype Flying V, multiple Bursts, Custom Color Fenders, Gibson Hollowbodies. I listened to a podcast with Hammett few months back where he said he owns 12 Bursts.
Everytime I see a Gibson TV notification, I never click faster in my life.
We all want to see Mark play these guitars, one song per pickup. GIVE US WHAT WE WANT, GIBSON.
Keith is such a nice guy. He seems very grateful for what he has. Great collection episode can’t wait to see the next one. All EQ’s at noon little bit of reverb man I miss hearing that.
1 hour of old fashioned GOTD. God I miss this everyday but when these come out it’s amazing. Thanks Mark!! 🙏
100% agree. It’s just not the same with lemmo
@@smoggy1964 yeah it’s become much more focused on Lemmos playing as opposed to being focused on the history of the guitars. I only tune in if it’s something I really want to see.
Keef's a nice dude and very cool player🇬🇧🏴🐈
Best Gibson tv episode yet. I remember seeing Keith in an interview once mention how the audience never knew or cared about his guitars. To him his burst was a Superman cape. Never heard it put better. Well done guys
people go to dance and have fun. half of them wouldnt notice if you were playing a burst or a bavarian flugelhorn
@@gregwilson2721 I go busking with a Bavarian FLUGELHORN
World Class,Act! Great Collection.enjoyed All the knowledge. Outstanding review, again thanks for Sharing chow,on to the next interviews, peace n take care...lio Galveston
Joy to experience a true craftsman and down to earth expert who has a real purpose for each and every piece. His spontaneous love for each guitar and amp made my day!
Thanks for mentioning The Georgia Satellites ✌🏻
This collection is insane!!! So many sweet gibsons.the dove is pretty special.
Mark does such a great job with his questions. It's like he knows what questions we want to ask in the moment. Great episode.
It's pretty rare that I would sit through an entire hour long RUclips video but this one breezed by. This was seriously high quality content and really well produced. Not sure if there could be a better host than Mark for this either.
Great post! Totally agree about the Mark comment. He's made for this stuff.
Sorry I disagree. Mark should take more pride in being Gibsons “guy”. He dresses poorly! Time to upgrade the wardrobe with clothes that actually fit.
@@harlisspotato3865 I’ll tell mark to dust off the tux for next time
NO! MARK IS THE GUY!
YEA HE SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE A GUITAR PLAYER, AND PUT ON A SUIT LOL, THATS HIS THING, HE HAS RELATIONSHIPS WITH ALL THESE GUYS, AND CAME UP WITH THE WHOLE IDEA! ITS NOT A GAME SHOW, HES NOT PAT SAJAK, LOL
Keith is such a skilled, knowledgeable, and humble guy this is probably one of Marks best interviews. I say one of the best because Keith was a really cool guest on the show with cool gear, and Mark did such a great interview
Great interviewer, asks great questions and listenns and doesnt interupt, this series is so good
The drool factor in these episodes cannot be overstated. As a mere mortal I'll never get my hands on any of these rarities, but it's amazing to see what's out there. Thanks for doing these.
For an episode that was over an hour long, it seemed like just a few minutes. Time does fly when you're having fun. Great stuff!
These collection videos are so cool, and this one might be the most impressive collection yet.
Love these episodes.
I graduated high school with Keith, and he was always a really nice guy. He started playing a few years after a lot of us, so it feels even more awesome that he's had such a successful music career.
Also - that 'burst with the Bigsby is *gorgeous* and in such great shape!
Buckcherry was such a big band to me when I was young. When they came back out my jam buddy Steve and I saw them at a small club in Vancouver. Guy is a great player, and the band was on point. Also, don’t mess with his pedal board in the middle of a song! Some drunk plowed through the crowd and ended up beside me stage front. He reached over and hit a phaser or something, and Keith kicked him straight in the face. It was fantastic.
I love this guys tone. Of course he plays a Les Paul.
My first guitar was a Les Paul. My last guitar will be a Les Paul.
When I finish watching this episode, I'm going to go look at my next one.
Props to Keith. Class act for opening up his amazing collection to us. I’m a drummer, but a lover of guitars and the iconic artists and music they’re associated with. Wish vintage drums had the same kind of magic to them.
We want to see the Slash’s collection!!!
mark really knows his vintage gear. love hearing him chat with guys in these videos.
ya but he needs to drum up on his marshalls, a 71 plexi? he shure knows a ton about guitars though
@@gregwilson2721 fair enough. ill cut him slack though as he didnt work for Normans rare amps. haha
From nearly all Collections this is my favorite because this beauty 59 Burst and the phanomenal Juniors... i am im Love... great Collection!
Awesome. cheers Mark, cheers Keith and cheers Gibson
Love the fact we’re really getting some love for Gibson as well as Fender just a bunch of nerds nerding out on guitars I fucking love it!!!!
Mark actually looks genuinely happy in this it's lovely - his smile goes deep right inside him to the bone it lovely to see. 🙂
I play a 1957 Gibson Les Paul Junior and it is a joyride. Makes me play 24/7. These guitars are incredible!
That Lit Up riff always hits hard
Shock Me - Kiss
TestarossaRocks probably but I like the Buckcherry one better
Lit Up, Shock Me by Kiss, and Thunder by the Runaways
I love the cocaine I love the cocaine
Love that Gibson shows the Fenders off too. So much respect
Keith’s a pleasure to listen to and great describer and Mark’s passion is always evident...good stuff 👍
This is Les Paul Junior Paradise !!
This is such a great series. I didn’t plan on spending an hour watching a video on my phone this afternoon but I sure as hell did and it felt like a few mins
That’s the best explanation. Playing vintage heightens the experience on stage. Yes
Been a Buckcherry fan since their debut album. Always loved Keith Nelson's tone. After watching this, I'm struck by Keith's genuine love of these "tools". As a weekend warrior guitar player, I have nothing but love and respect for the true professionals like Keith that have made a career out of music!! Keep on keepin' on.
Man, I was wondering what happened to Keith Nelson. He's one of my favorites, for sure! This was awesome!
Phenomenal collection! Sweet Episode, and now I need a TV Junior...
Absolutely LOVE these videos. Absolutely perfection and no editing to make the videos 5-10min. Keep it up Gibson
speechless, Awesome.Thanks !!
Guitar of the Day brought me here. Bass player but I love everything guitar and love this show!
Keith Nelson good interview / good guy, amazing axes. Love the Esquire Custom
Great to see some of keith's collection and what he's up to these days
Finally some content that we can all enjoy together as a community and just enjoy how wonderful these amazing instruments are great work Gibson
Mark is a Freaking Legend!!! Love the show. Great guy for sharing such an amazing collection...
I love it that there's teles in this vid. Thanks Gibson for giving out the rock n roll love.
Thank you for sharing. Cool to hear your impressions of these
Sharing your love for guitars no matter the brand, way to go Gibson!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
These videos could be 7 hours long and I’d still watch em in one sitting.
That was super cool. Keith’s collection and his passion for the music and the guitars is amazing.
Ohhhh man!!! Thanks mark and Gibson!! I’ve been waiting for the next collection video like a junkie waiting for a fix. Here we are in the middle of a nor’easter in Massachusetts and this video came in at the exact right time. Thanks mark!!
What I like about these great videos is you show all makes .. you don’t shy away from Fenders etc .. that’s cool man.
Amazing, thank you for sharing Keith..
Thank You Gibson for the instruments and this content.
Awesome collection. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Well that indeed is an awesome collection, Thanks Keith and Mark for a very enjoyable video.
I appreciate that GibsonTV included the parts where he talked about non-Gibson guitars.
I've watched this at least 50 times or more!
Dude all these collection videos are so amazing I love watching them so much
Mark does a great job on these videos, none of them will ever top Rick's collection that is the most epic collection of Gibsons I've ever seen.
That was captivating... I did not know Keith Nelson ran in such a distinguished circle of guitar elites...
these have all been amazing. thank you for doing this series.
Thanks Gibson love your videos and as a mark agnesi fan I enjoy his great hosting
Another great episode! Really enjoyed checking out Keith's amazing collection... those LP Jr's!!
Awesome to see a couple of KEITH RICHARDS fans giving our boy a shout! I wondered what Keith Nelson has been up to. Always enjoyed his playing!
Best interview I've see to the moment. lot of order and calm, nice guitars, good histories and the amps. And most important to me. I dont know his music but I'll check
Big fan of Keith so it was good to hear from him again and Mark is doing a great job representing Gibson! This made me pick up my guitar! 🤘
This show is an absolute killer man on man he’s guys are the luckiest guys in the world man oh man great job he does showing these guys are these guitars Take some awesome personality
The red 345 is seriously THE most beautiful electric guitar I've ever seen, wow!
Keith has always been one of my all time favorite guitarists!
I LOVE these videos! And MA is the perfect presenter too. Rock on!
Awesome job on the close ups!! Love seeing all the patina and grime from years of work! Great video.
One of if not my favorite episode.
He is very humble about his collection and this was refreshing to see someone talk about their guitars without being obnoxious. I’ve heard ‘crazy bitch’ enough times to last a lifetime but it looks like it paid off well for him! I’d love to be friends Keith!
man! Keith and I have the exact same taste in guitars. Thanks for making this. I have a new found love for Buckcherry
Absolutely Fantastic!
Superb. Best one yet. What an enjoyable watch 👌
If Gibson TV wasn’t killin’ it all this year, I don’t even know where my head would be at. Also, I swore for a minute I could smell the Korina. Thanks for another hour of pure joy!
Love this series! Great stuff, guys! Thanks
Fuck yeah! Keith Nelson is one of my favorite rock guitarists.
Nice! Thank you for sharing!
Those TV Juniors look and sound absolutely amazing. Keep up the good work Mark!
Best one of these I've seen so far. The best-sounding, best-playing guitars are the worn-out ones. Dave Amato has a storage unit full of guitars with hangtags on them, never played. Keith Nelson has a handful of players guitars that are awesome. I have a '69 Fender Mustang I got from my dad that's well worn and wouldn't sell it for anything.
Could we get Keith on Riff Lords? I love Buckcherry
Awesome idea.
I think getting him would be awesome.
Gibson TV is awesome! Totally love this episode and hope there’s more to come!
MARK love this stuff " The collection " keep it up .!
Thank you Thank You Keith Nelson
I'm even prouder now to be a GIBSON guy. Thanks for the great interview and show.
This has to be the best one so far... two super nice humble guys awesome guitars plus great job who ever had the camera great close up’s... well done ... time to 🤘😎🤘
One of my favorite parts of these videos (besides the badass guitars) is the plethora of knowledge and overall excitement we get from Mark. You can tell he’s a fan first of music and guitars and it shows. Can’t imagine anyone else doing these interviews. I don’t think they would hold the same amount of water.
