    Oral minoxidil, though primarily known as a topical treatment for hair loss, has garnered attention for its potential benefits when taken orally. Here are some of the perceived advantages:
    Systemic Effect: Unlike topical minoxidil, which primarily targets hair follicles where it's applied, oral minoxidil circulates throughout the body via the bloodstream. This systemic effect means it can potentially stimulate hair growth not just on the scalp but also in other areas where hair loss occurs.
    Convenience: Oral minoxidil is more convenient compared to topical solutions. Rather than needing to apply a foam or solution to the scalp daily, oral minoxidil typically requires just one dose per day.
    Effectiveness: Studies suggest that oral minoxidil may be more effective than its topical counterpart for certain types of hair loss, particularly in cases where androgenetic alopecia (male or female pattern baldness) is resistant to other treatments.
    Broader Coverage: Since oral minoxidil is distributed systemically, it can potentially address hair loss across the entire scalp, rather than just in specific areas where topical minoxidil is applied.
    Potential for Increased Hair Thickness: Oral minoxidil can not only stimulates hair regrowth but also increases the thickness and diameter of existing hair, resulting in a fuller appearance.

    I'm 67 and finally losing my hairline and I could never use the topical stuff. My hair has been thinning for years but was not noticeable until a few years ago. I am now taking the formula and hope for the best. Sucks to get old but it sucks more to lose your hair. My grandfather on my mom's side was bald at 30. Somehow I managed to keep mine. I had a transplant in 1998 on the fontal hairline but that is now very thin. Seems like the technology has gotten much better.

    Another transplant? I thought you were pretty much done on donor hair. Would you consider doing a 4th FUT? or is the elasticity done and its pretty much FUE at this point?

    Hello , we need a video about people who live in countries that do not provide oral minoxidil, and if they can use a topical minoxidil solution for that, such as drinking 2-4 drops of the solution, each 1 ml contains 50 mg minoxidil , and 1 ml equals 40 drops, so 2 drops = 2.5 mg, 4 drops equal 5 mg, and if we look at the topical ingredients of Minoxidil, we can see propylene glycol, ethanol and water, all these ingredients cannot harm us because they are already made up in our food and drinks, can we do that?

  • @Eric-ph4yw

    I find it crazy that you actually have a lot of donor hair remaining for future treatments considering all the transplants you've had. I'm wanting to go in for my 6th transplant but i'm starting to get nervous with over harvesting. So far, I've already had about 10,000 grafts over the course of 5 transplants.

      Because I did the first three surgeries as FUT it really left a lot of harvesting available for FUE (plus, because the oral minoxidil I take also strengthens my donor hair. I have a really great donor hair) 😁
      Good luck with your next surgery, and keeping fighting the good fight ✨🤘🏼

    If your hair keeps falling out after taking finasteride then dutasteride what’s next?

    • @GetLocklab
      @GetLocklab  2 месяца назад +1

      Your hair should “fall out” …if you’re referring to hair shedding. Shedding hair is a natural process, and not something to worry about. A lot of guys get worried when they see hair on their hands in the shower. And that is rarely something to worry about. Hair thinning and miniaturization is what you should be concerned about when you see it. Finasteride & dutasteride are sometimes not enough on their own, when combined with 5MG minoxidil (which is what we sell as a combo pill through Locklab) it is enough to completely stop hair loss (miniaturization) for about 97% of men.

    As I know I will hard to keep up the consistency
    But about oral. For sure I think it works better but I am worried as many say it can be really dangerous.

      I know thousands of guys that have been taking oral minoxidil safely for years, and almost all major hair transplant surgeons (who are hair experts, and doctors) are now prescribing oral minoxidil to their patients. I’ve done a ton of research on oral minoxidil as well and come to the conclusion that is well worth any risk. I’m not into “risking my health” either and live and very healthy lifestyle. I’m very thankful oral minoxidil exists for me to pop it daily 😁

    • @litjellyfish
      @litjellyfish 2 месяца назад

      @@GetLocklab yes I guess I need to test it then. I don’t want to sound like the post finasteride syndrome guys 😅 I also assume if one do a heart check up before talk to doctors and do mesure the first period just to be safe and remove any mental placebo shit then one is double safe.
      Still awaiting if I am do go with my transplant. And yes the one I went to. One of the absolute best in Europe with long waitlist also prescribed oral minoxidil.
      Speaking of that. Been on finasteride for 24 years now and I am very stable with just slooow loss. With fibers I have been good depending on styling. Main areas that are on the boarder is the 2cm frontal band with corners going up maybe 3 cm up where I have still diffident density I would say but the miniaturization of the hair now has reached the point where fibers etc starts to break so the makeup illusion don’t work.
      Do you think oral with affect the thickness of the decent coverage I have so it’s worth to test oral minox for 1-2 years or should I just go for the transplant and then add oral minox after? Both then to support the regrowth of the transplanted hairs but also to slow down the progress of the rest (while of course continuing finasteride)
      Thanks

    Obviously this is just one long advertisement for your brand of genetics. But that doesn’t mean you’re wrong. I agree with everything you say about the difficulty of compliance with topical minoxidil. I just think the safety data on oral minoxidil doesn’t look that good. And everyone who says otherwise, like you and Dr. Linkov, is trying to sell their own brand of oral minoxidil.

    • @GetLocklab
      @GetLocklab  2 месяца назад

      I was taking oral minoxidil myself for 5 years before I had any financial involvement in selling oral minoxidil. I also recommended it to virtually all of my male friends who were on it for years with great results before I had any financial involvement. We started selling it because it works so well and it’s easy to sell something that gives guys a way better looking head of hair in a convenient and safe way.
      My guess is that Dr. Linkov was also prescribing oral minoxidil to his patients for years before he had any financial incentive, and when he decided to sell something for hair loss he of course decided to push what has already been working best for his patients.
