I was balding a lot worst than you. It took me 7 years of oral minoxidil and finasteride to get the hair I wanted and it is still getting better. My hair is better now at 50 than it was at 20. Stick with it and don't even think about it. The fuzz will turn into think hair if you just keep with it. The down side is you will grow hair everywhere else. Invest in a hope laser hair remover for all the unwanted hair.

Sir i am being honest , I started oral minoxidil just after a 2 week after you posted the video mentioning that you have started oral minxidil , reason for starting oral minoxidil was because topical never helped me in regrowing even when I used it along with finasteride for more than 1+ years.
So my regime after including oral minox was like
    Oral minxodil 2.5 mg everyday
    Oral finasteride everyday
    Minxodil 5% every other day
    Hair oil every other day
Shampoo my hair on the oiling day .
After 10 months I must say I have recovered almost 20℅ of my hair, my condition is better than ever , I can go out without caps , hair got thicker and fuller

I used oral minoxidil for a short time too. It dried my skin so much that it interrupted with my sleep and skyrocketed my stress levels.
I switched it back to topical minoxidil, but no matter what I did- the alcohol was too much for my skin. It kept destroing my hairs.
I switched to topical high coffeine coffee with rosamery oil and dermapening it (0,6mm) every 2,5 day.
My hair got better. Its around one month since I see some new tiny hairs. Low in number and slim, but they are here.
Drawback is that its a little messy and the coffee has to stay for 20 minutes on the head

The symptoms you describe appear to be caused by palpitations. Abnormal heartbeats. Some kind of arrhythmia. Probably a benign one. Minoxidil is a hypotensive drug, so fast heartbeat and other heart problems are common when using the oral form.
I use topical Minoxidil and I experienced some side effects in the beginning, but stopped for a few months and then went back with no more problems.
My hairline was receding and the hair on the area was getting more sparse, so after trying many things I decided to take the dive and use minoxidil on the affected areas.
I'm also using liquid caffeine on the rest of the scalp.
So far and I started the treatment 3 years ago, my hair seems better and doesn't fall so much as before.
The diet is very important too. Enough protein and vitamins, as the hair is the first thing to go when the body is lacking something.
Also a medical check up to see if everything else is alright.
Good luck with your hair journey.

I started taking finastired first year of law school, the high pressure environment combined with resulting mood issues and brain fog made it completely unsustainable.
I will try it again when I am at peak health and life is a bit less demanding. Currently on topical minoxidil, no problematic side effects besides some water weight.
Optimal cognitive function is definitely more valuable than a full head of hair IMHO.
I will try topical finasteride again in a few months once I am back at a good fitness level. For now, minoxidil, a good diet, no alcohol and daily exercise has helped a fair bit.
I am certain over time there will be more evidence to demonstrate the vital importance of DHT in (some) males.

Personal experience for me was disappointing, whether it's minoxidil or finasteride in topical form. I switched from oral to topical finasteride due to side effects for six months, and within just two months, my crown started balding noticeably. Now I'm back on oral, but at 0.5mg instead of 1mg, and my hair loss has halted.
This time, I've also introduced oral minoxidil at 1.25mg for around 2 months, and my hair seems to be improving. Still, I know I'll need to wait at least 4 months for concrete results.
Oral Minoxidil works well, but my plan is to use the oral version to kickstart hair growth with finasteride for a year, then rely on finasteride to maintain and eliminate oral minoxidil.

I use topical minix foam EOD, and use topical finasteride .025% EOD as well. Eat very healthy and workout 4 times a week. I am 37, I have varied my doses for years and this is what works for me to balance health and hair. My conclusions after many years into this since the age of 21 when my hair loss started is: #1 Get Super healthy, this contributes to things more than you think, my loss slowed when I paid attention to that. #2 If you are balding fast - like diffuse all over at the age of 25 or less - just accept things and go bald, you are fighting a losing battle. #3 If you have some receding or slower balding - plan for transplants, get FUT first as i yields the most results and reduces scalp- kind of like a face lift does for the forehead- then get FUE next and fue into your scar. I did this and it has made the biggest difference. I can wear my hair as short as I want and it looks natural, most of that is because of the excellent surgeon I used and my hair is on the medium finer side which helps. #4 Accept that your crown will go at some point and you likely won’t have enough grafts to cover it, but you’ll be older at that point and not a big deal, I am reserving grafts left for mid scalp if/when needed

Did every test available from the doctor no issue, only started after minoxidil. At least the fast heartbeat is gone.

Hey bud. Thank you so much for your videos. You actually helped me discover oral minoxidil. I’d like to share some of my personal data with with you to compare. I am type A blood. Male. Age 43. Caucasian.Type A is naturally the thickest of the blood types. Long Before minoxidil I was already diagnosed with high blood pressure. We did heart scans and ultrasound and the doctor said I had no blockages in my heart or calcification. He said my heart looked like the heart of a 14 year old boy. However, for whatever reason, genetics high sodium the pressure was too high. He theorized possibly because I am type A and it was the blood that was the problem. Not my heart. Although I was feeling it in my heart. Like pumping thick honey vs water. I lowered sodium raised potassium and it stopped. Then I found you. Then I asked him my heart doctor if I could start this medication. He yes absolutely you already have high blood pressure and that’s what it was originally designed for. I take 2.5 mg in morning and at night. Before minoxidil I was on Finasteride 5mg oral for the last 15 years. It saved the hair but caused some erectile dysfunction. My doctor had me get off Finasteride for one month then start minoxidil. I had like a roid rage reaction for about 6months and erectile dysfunction got much better. I lost a lot of hair but then it all came back and much thicker. So the switch over was scary but a year later I’m hooked it regulates my heart and hairloss and erectile dysfunction. I have different blood tests from different doctors I go to for different things. I’d definitely volunteer it up to go into a public database. Maybe some AI can make sense of it one day if it were to compare all of us. My father is who type O blood said minoxidil made his heart skip and it scared him.

@dj-lz7zs I was on 5mg of Fin for about 15 years. Saved every hair. But my hair is fine texture so around 40 all hairs were alive, none lost but becoming thin. I was also starting to just now experience slight erectile dysfunction. So I started oral monoxil 2.5 with 5mg fin. I stayed on fin. But 8 months into the journey after the shedding and regrowth the hair was so thick I thought to myself I’d love to drop oral fin maybe add it back later as a topical. So I did. I also bought the Phoenix ED at home laser. And it reversed my ED. it’s been 7 months off Finasteride and on oral minox 2.5 morning and night. And hair has stayed. I did feel sexually aggressive, well kinda still do 🤣. Which is great. But yea. Sometimes I look like a quiet lion ready to pounce. I’m happy my body and mind are adjusting back to my normal DHT levels and the hair is staying. The oil production has really kicked back up into overdrive so I switched to nizol shampoo anti dandruff.

Minoxidil will not prevent or slow hair loss progression. Better get back on dutasteride or finasteride. Take a small dose such as 0.5 mg oral dutasteride twice a week.

I have been taking oral fenestride 1mg 3 times a week and I barely get any hair fall. THat is the only thing I plan to take and not get used to something else because then If i decide to quit than there might be hair loss. Keeping up with one medicine and one schedule is much easier.

Anyone who takes minoxidil for a few more wisps of hair on their body somewhere is insane. I too was taking it for about a year and at night my heart raced like a rabbit it scared me out of my mind. I stopped it and yes the side effects disappeared. It is truly remarkable that people will risk their Precious Heart and it's regular rhythm of sustaining life just for hair. The word must be gotten out there, find other ways to grow hair minoxidil is deadly. I was frightened I'd end up in emergency center somewhere.
