@@la1026 you need to load your GPU bios file and then you can make changes. Watch the whole video or look for others. The tool you can use to get the bios file is gpu-z
@@thisiseddy yes i didnt everything that he did.. but it doesnt give me the option of the gpu up ( rx 580 ) so i can load the file.. so i can untick the boxes after..

Your a GOD and a GENIUS man! Played HON with my "new" computer and insane stuttering and bad FPS, got a little bit better if i turned in V-sync but only got 30 ish FPS then. Followed ur steps (hopefully i did all right, didnt install windows tho since i just bought the computer) and now get 230 FPS on ultra, a littlebit of coilwhine tho but when i put on V-sync everything runs supersmooth and no coilwhine + STABILE 60 FPS. Took me 4 hours to do it but man ur a life saver!

I test with my 6700xt and following your step right now I'm able to play some games without FPS drops.
Just to inform you I test at the first time without change the registry with "morepower tool" with version 21.10.2 that should be the stable one and the frequency drop down from 2400 to 800hz, so from my experencie the bug has not been solved yet. Disabling the DDu_X as you showed, now is always working at the frequencies selected.

Nice video thanks Chris, great to see you joining us on Team Red using a complete AMD build. I'm, using a 5950X+6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition here also and overall it seems to be the fastest combination of hardware out there at the moment. Smart Access Memory is a great extra feature to have as well for another 5-15% performance boost in most games I find and it works well in the COD series of games too. Cheers and KUPTG.

I'd like to note, that if you turn Tessellation Mode to "OFF", it causes certain things to fuck off.
The most recent example I can think of is in The Witcher 3, with it OFF, and using Nvidia Hair (I know, I know, but I like it...) it won't render the hair, like at all.
Turn it ON and set it to like 16x or just use application setting and BOOM the hair works...
DDU has a option to boot into safe mode.
Go into DDU’s settings, at the bottom there’s a check box to launch advanced boot options.
Relaunch the program and it will ask to reboot into safe mode automatically

Sick vid as per Chris! Reckon it would be worth adjusting min Mhz on 5700xt? It already has 3 pre set levels.
You can lock ur Pstates in MSI afterburner using curveeditor as alternative. 1200mv on all 3 States and 50Mhz or less clocks difference on each States.
Putting all states at 1200v will destroy ur thermal

Thanks for your tips, I've installed W11, and for warzone I had low FPS, I got 16GB Ram and when gaming I get 95% using ram, also have software to second monitor running on background, I've installed now Windows 10 again and running smooth.
Win 10 better than win 11 for gaming?

I love amds, had a ryzen 5, some rx cards but, i come here because i want to boost my old 1st gcn card hd 7750 2gb, its had a potential believe me i jealous with nvidia gtx for years, since amd release rx series i feel happy ever since.
RIS do lose some frame more like 1 to 3 fps, but it do selective sharpen which helping much against black region. it will look less foggy.

Subbbed I spent hours trying to figure out stutters in warzone locking the gpu core helped alot my pc has 5900x 6900xt. I found out after locking the core that AMDs metrics overlay tool caused the stutters ..typical :(

Hi, was wondering if locking the cores have a impact of the gpu long term?
idk why but when i do this with a rx 5700xt + ryzen 5900x i got lower avg fps than when i had default settings, although the input lag did seem to decrease. Is it because i increased the workload of the gpu?
Any chance for an update to this for 2024? Esp for 6000 series GPU, more specifically 6700 XT since it's still a popular choice right now.
Do you have to re do the whole msi process everytime you update the gpu drivers? Or can you just use the same Msi profile?

Hi, I'm looking to clip my games on 4:3 Aspect ratio, but as i use that said aspect ratio in game and clip the said game, it comes out scuffed and more compressed as opposed to actually being stretched. How do i get the software to clip the game's resolution and aspect ratio as is, instead of have it squish the badonkers out of my clips. Thanks in advance!

I have this issue on G15 AE, increasing gpu load by super sampling fixed it somewhat...
So if i want to play csgo 1280x960 streached do i make custom rez and turn on gpu scaling and make scaling mode full panel?
cause now I have it full panel GPU calling off and custom rez 1280x960 it works, is this fine?

@@PocaHontas2002 hey mate, yeah I've managed to fix it by running the texture resolution on very low, if I set it to normal or high I get stuttering. Assuming this is just a wz issue. Hope this helps man
@@fryingscotsman I've actually followed all the steps in this video (except the Display Custom Color) and Boom! Massive improvement on the fps and no more stuttering. in the lobby for some reason fps are stuck at 120 (maybe will find a fix for this soon) but once in the game i get avg 170fps at 1440p. Gpu fans are a bit louder but hey ho, I'm a happy chappy for now. thanks for replying tho

Forcing options through the driver control panel doesn't work since forever. I can't seem to force any graphical options through the Radeon Software. I tried V-Sync, Morphological AA, MSAA, SSAA and AF but none of them seem to do anything.

How are you getting 2619 mhz and get 1200mV? My PowerColour red devil 6900xt only goes up to 1175 max mV. With 2499 Mhz as the stock OC.

How do you check input lag on amd?
HDCP is hollywoods encryption which uses like half the HDMI bandwidth its their copy protection for say streaming 4k netflix HEVC HDR. disabling HDCP means if you have a bluray ROM drive your hollywood protected content may not play back.
You are supposed to enable Antilag (for almost all games but modern vulkan or dx12 titles are already low latency so starting with it on may not benefit or even slow down of the games been sabotaged...) But antilag lets you know if its a dx9 or 11 title .. but often if you restart the game with antilag enabled it might work better.
Chill is very important and sort of needed for freesync to work in a way! it lowers latency gives quiter fan operation and games as if it wasnt chilled or better actually but you must have freesync working properly for it to function and for freesync to work properly you must enable chill!
disabling tesselation can improve performance in nvidia titles which cant do tesellation properly and sort of fake it and bake it in? so they throw crazy polygons occaionally like millions of poly count in a random door or object in game to cripple AMD's tessellation as it uses the 3d object to resize/enlarge and 3d effect make a brick wall look raised and bumpy with grooves for the mortar instead of flat with a picture of bricks and its adjustable in real time which needs a real computer to do and intel and nvidia are all about selling fake PCs. Well lately intels adler lake is about using cheap mobile phone tech like exynos processor with big cores little cores.. they often have 2 or 4 cores normal larger.. and then they have tiny mini ones for audio and video and battery and whatever. So the cheapest of mobile phone processors is actually an upgrade for intel you can tell because the apple M1 is a RISC processor and it was faster. But a ryzen 5700G is vastly faster than an apple m1x max! just read the spec sheet for memory bandwidth on it.. apple is 400gigabits, 5700g is 2TB! my 5700XT isnt integrated has external RAM and its 448gigabits bandwidth!
a 6600 graphics card from AMD has 3.25x memory bandwidth than mine! the very cheapest of RDNA 2
honestly all AMD GPU's and CPU's are fully scalable as are all super computers.. the infinity fabric and infinity cache all the infinity words mean zero latency or super conductor like stuff going on..
DO NOT USE MORE POWER! the amd gpu runs in a mobile phone on like zero power moron! the AMD hardware has like decades of warranty on it and expected life span! my playstation 3 is still going strong and it was and probably still is faster than all the intel garbage with just the Cell processor alone!
By modifying the voltages and power and cranking it through the roof like that you are voiding warranty and halving lifespan of the device! its a trick from nvidia trolls and intel posers to sell you more fake hardware at full price of real hardware! you can see a radeon VII $700 beat a rtx titan $3000 in specs on paper and in crypto mining and a heap of other stuff if you actually use it correctly but to do so you need to load in something like vulkan or dx12.5 and a modern language and output and access the hardware in modern methods. or run METAL on mac and load in a was it slackware OS with open CL compiled with their pretend fake software and obsolete code and languages with fake flags everywhere for AMD and it will be like 5% faster in general than a rtx titan.
But if you actually had someone fully use the hardware it would completely not be comparable. Crypto miners lower the voltage and it runs better and lasts longer! because its supposed to be closer to a mobile phone power.. but umm third parties make all the boards and stuff.. AMD's not allowed to, they just sell them a GPU chip! whether or not retards figure out how to use one or build devices to power the thing is up to them. in fact the entire windows 11 OS slows down and crippled and inaccurate limited search results on google whatever by non unicode fonts and low bit depth non standard low quality ones. Your entire OS for AMD systems can speed up visibly by switching to a superior UTF 8 font with multilingual support and the correct keyboard input settings in windows 11 because microsofts OS is like a jar of peanut butter that says may contain traces of nuts, it says 64bit but theres probably like a not even 1MB kernel file core thats 64bit the rest is obsolete DOS trash.
oh yeah and you maybe also need to set up individual game profiles for each game to forcibly set freesync to on or enable either chill or antilag and so on. I prefer texture quality to high check the fps difference its not so terrible?

I'm using Asus Rog Strix 480 8GB card. I don't have those Max and Min frequency bar rather than I have 7 states of frequency bar where max frequency (state 7) is 1310Mhz. Whenever i play valorant the gpu core barely reach 1200Mhz. What should I do now?
Cpu: i5-7500
Ram: 16GB 2400Mhz
Monitor: Benq XL2411P 144Hz.

everything from Radeon software is saved in MSI but FAN speed not, i must it use it trought MSI while gaming, any idea how to make it enabled?

when fr33thy cranked up the voltage up to 1200, does it mean cranking up all states or just cranking up state7? My radeon software is different from his (it shows all the states, from 0 to 7) and idk if i should only crank up state7 or all of them. Thanks for whoever might answer.

Guys, I need an answer about gpu-z. In gpu-z, Bus Interface is showing me up PCIe x16 3.0 @ x16 1.1 (GPU supports x16 3.0 but is running at x16 1.1, when I start render test currently x16 3.0). Is this just power saving thing or I might change something else?) xx

this is fantastic. however, when i ddu the adrenaline full install and install the minimal driver, afterburner fails to recognize that i have a GPU anymore and doesn't allow the profile i had saved to be selected. it doesn't allow any adjustments and doesn't recognize a GPU. anyone know a fix?

@@Matt-ut9dh i dont quite understand how that would be overkill. If you just want to record the past 30 secs or 60mins you can do that on OBS. You dont need to record or stream alongside it. Just make sure u watch a OBS setup guide so your clips arent bad quality

Going amd the new navis are like powerful cars that need tuning i have a 6800xt and coming from a rx 480 amd cards are best with a mix of driver updates and ocing usually overtake nvidia
