Hey man, I used your Spotify strategy for my bands new single with a budget of £100, 3 weeks later we’ve been placed in 3 Spotify editorial playlists and have almost 25000 streams on the song - can’t thank you enough, keep doing what you’re doing :)
@@AdhirajMathur you need to pitch it to Spotify after 24hrs of release via Spotify for artists to get editorials but not sure if their is time limit to this, I think their is as Release Radar and Discover Weekly are first 4 weeks of release to get in them. The pitch is no guarantee to get an editorial tho
I used your ad strategy from another one of your videos last week, along with playlist promotion, and the results far exceeded my expectations! Just about to set up a campaign for a new track using what I've learnt in this video. Solid gold man.
Hello can you please tell me what services you used to publish your single “ chain “ my friend and I are trying to drop a duel release like you did but I don’t know what platform to use I’m currently with distrokid but seems like they don’t have that option. Thx
@did you activated audience network at your campaign? or what is the reason do you think it makes problems now? if i disable audience network, i need also to disable automatic placement. is this bad?
WAW Congrats for your results and fantastic tune! You said you expected 200.000 streams and you actually got 1.400.000!! that is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
@@iammindflip youll never really know. Plus the more legit streams the more spotify will push your music anyhow. Ive gotten thousands of streams just by being on different spotify radio stations with similar artist from my last ep
These give results yeah, but we have to consider the already existing parameters of you having - 1) A number of followers which will already generate B number of streams 2) C number of streams from your traffic generating playlists ( considering it's added there) 3) D number of streams coming from your RUclips channel too, it's amazing you're helping all of us, so some of your RUclips fans who liked the song will also give you streams. 4) E number of streams from your Facebook ads So you're having a total of (B+C+D+E) streams from all of these. So, getting into any of those algorithmic playlists will have each of these parts contributing to it. Another important parameter would be your saves would probably be higher because of your existing fans which helps the algorithm. All I'm saying is, don't expect these results when you're starting off! At least not in 2 weeks, you need to keep releasing and keep running a ton of these campaigns to get the results in such a short amount of time. It's all from experience and consistency. Thank you for introducing this, it's definitely helpful, it's ONE of the parameters which can help you with becoming successfull on Spotify, but the main thing being, keep releasing, keep that grind going.
I partially agree with this. Yeah those other factors do help me, but i've actually found it easier to grow a brand new artist with nothing than improve an existing artist with an audience, and a lot of it comes down to Spotify tailoring their algorithm based on your audience size. If you check out that $100 ad campaign video, that artist had less than 50 monthly listeners and his song has 30,000 streams with only that initial push of $100 in ads. Another example is I helped Adameant with an ad campaign for his song prior to this collab when he had a small audience, and his track has 33,000 streams and climbing. Also while I do get some advantages for having an audience on Spotify and playlists, keep in mind that was all built up using these types of ad campaigns in the first place. Also while i'm sure some people from my RUclips audience listen to my music, and thats awesome and I appreciate it, i'd guess that its a pretty small percentage compared to all the other factors listed. If I were to bet, i'd say that E (the streams from my ads) are responsible for 90+% of these results. But you are right, they are factors, and people do need to realize that long term growth is about consistency and experience. Artists should release music regularly, make great social media content, engage their audience, and market every single release they put out. Very few people will be able to pull off what I have on their first release and marketing attempt, and even I still have the occasional flop every few releases.
@@AndrewSouthworth Agreed! Facebook ads is definitely one of the best ways to grow your audience. It would be helpful if you could share your screen and show us the campaigns which didn't make it, how many content views you got per day for the budget, why it flopped, and what you did to improve that. Honestly, you're showing us a lot and explaining each step which is very helpful. The other side will be helpful to see and hopefully not demotivate people because they might think they're not getting 2000 streams with the ads and hence give up and go for alternatives which are easier. I'm sure you've tried a ton of these campaigns and learnt from all those failures. It's a hard path, and everyone needs to go through it. I personally would love to see the number of content views you got per day. For example, I'm getting around let's say 30 view contents for 5$ per day, is that good? Is it bad? Shoud I stop? I can get more answers if I can see how yours are and how I can work on improving it! Cheers for all the help my dude, appreciate it. If I could get in touch with you on Instagram, that would be great, I'm impressed by your journey, and I've seen your guitar work before, I'm curious to know about your genre evolution.
This is the most useful video on fb ADs i've ever seen. Sheesh, about got damn time! Thank you Andrew, i'ma impliment this info right now and try it out. The key word here was CONVERSIONS which the average person thinks TRAFFIC is the way to go. You're right, Traffic is a waste of money which is basically aiming at a target in the DARK! You've explained this the easiest way it can be explained and hopefully these artist understand it. It doesn't get easier than that!
You've come a long way from that first video trying out just Facebook ads for promotion. Your method has completely changed my approach to promoting my music - I'm very grateful for that. The results I'm getting are a vast vast improvement to when I was just pitching playlists before.
You got me watching a bunch of your videos! Just published a Facebook Ad to start later today and it's pretty exciting. Took me MUCH longer to figure out how to do it than it should have. I slowed down and watched your videos thoroughly (which I should have done to begin with, I kinda watched sporadically the first time) and powered through!
I set this up last night between 12am and 2am and launched it at 5am. I woke up at 8am and checked that I had 1 Itunes buy. 13 Spotify streams and 12 Apple music streams. It works. Thank you for dropping gems Andrew!
I tried this method yesterday for my latest campaign and my conversions & streams went way up, while my cost/result, cost/stream, and cost/follow all plummeted! Thanks for the tips Andrew!
Great video Andrew, really appreciate it! Very well done. Got the information across clearly and concisely without any fluff. I've definitely subscribed! --Jer of the band Mitch the Needle
Andrew, thank you for putting this out there! I've been struggling to get my Spotify numbers up and was hesitant to run ads for it due to the ROAS, as you cover in the video. I'll definitely check out the $100 video next. Of course, you could also retarget those audiences that took action and promote CDs and merch.
Thanks Jason! For a ROAS you definitely do have to think longer term, and focus on getting onto those algorithmic playlists. The other big part of it is of course retargeting as well, if you can sell something to people that will give a much larger ROAS.
@@AndrewSouthworth That makes sense! I need to go back to the drawing board on my ads. I spent so much money last year and some of this year and took a break from it. But I know that's the way to scale up. Thank you, and this is great content. I'll be going back through this again this week.
@@AndrewSouthworth Andrew, one more quick question, do you recommend sending folks to that particular song or the album on Spotify? I already have a page created on my website for each album but had never considered creating a separate page for each song (I know you're using another tool for that but I can mimic the same with my Wordpress theme). Thank you
finally found a channel that really show how it works, not just word. for a beginner like me it is so helpful when we really see the process so we can think clearly rather than just saying this that but without real proof
Thats the great/bad thing about marketing, things are constantly changing haha. Plus i'm constantly testing out new things to drop the cost, and sometimes old techniques stop working.
Hello Andrew, thank you so much for the work you do - I recently released something and was feeling quite lost and down about the process but after watching a few of your videos I am really looking forward to trying this out
Hey Sofia, glad this gave you some clarity on what to do! Hope this helps, and i'd also recommend pairing it with also releasing lots of relevant social media content around the release. Social media strategies still help a lot and they're free, they just take time on your part.
@@AndrewSouthworth Yes! I saw your video of 50 different forms of content for release...Such a simple concept but had never approached it from a volume point of view lol... I am going to try and get at least half as ambitious as you
Man I was so stoked to try this, but everything in the Ads manager is so different now from when this video came out. Everything seems way more confusing with more steps. Would love an update version of this walkthrough!
It shouldn't be too different, but I have several newer videos that show the newer interface. You might not be in the full version of ads manager on desktop if it looks too different from this though.
@@AndrewSouthworth I'll definitely check out the newer videos! Quick question- is there a way to get the Spotify link to your song before the song goes on Spotify so that you can get your landing page and ad ready? Or do you just create the landing page and publish the ad on the same day the song goes live?
If you use distrokid you can grab them directly. If you use something else you can contact their customer support to get it. Try to grab it at least 1 week in advance though.
@@AndrewSouthworth Sorry to keep bugging you...I thought I had everything set but then realized that Toneden got rid of their free landing page option. To make the landing page public you have to upgrade to their premium subscription ($50/month!). Are there any other landing page options you can recommend that are free, or at least cheaper?
hey Andrew! Im here again. So I reached 1,1K people with release radar. thats awesome!! really amazing this algorithm. I understodd how to work that. thanks your help! - Ferco
Tried this for the first time 2 weeks ago after binging your vids, didn’t go very well 😅 I’m gonna try again tho! Def an error on my end, thanks for all the helpful tutorials and keep at it bro 🤙
We found that it helps to test audiences with a $1 a day adset budget before doing the campaign budget and optimization because some audiences can be $2 or $3 a click, some even $7. If you run your campaign at $1 per day for the adset and get no clicks, that's why. You'll still get video views which allows you to make a retargeting campaign later, so it's not a waste. This will keep you from wasting a lot of money.
Onyxx Productions Ayye thanks for this! My campaign was $2 per click at some points but mellowed out to about $1 at the end. Still got some alright engagement but it def wasn’t a pretty ratio. Ima try out your strategy, good luck to you!
Man this video was perfect to show up in my feed. Planning the release of my next song while watching videos. I'm happy you said the second verse creative worked the best, because I felt that my song was the same, but thought that by default i should use the chorus. Thanks for keepin us updated man, and congrats! You're doing great dude, the grind really is paying off! 😀
i am only 90seconds in and can already tell I'm going to love your video. You got straight to it, speaking clearly and understandably and already the strategy of investing more in the first 3 days and why you do that... I mean it's common sense once i heard you say it... thanks!@
Hey Andrew , love your videos, cant wait for more live streams as they are always the best. Two questions: 1.If i just start out with ads and uploading on Spotify (its gonna be my third song on Spotify but first ever facebook ad), you said in several videos that its not good to start with conversion because you can get banned. So what should i start with, click events even though they are so bad? 2.Also what aspect ratio do you run your ads, i wanted to do 9:16 but then i read on the facebook help page that sometimes they need 1:1 or other ratios. As im rendering a video in blender and it takes hour and hours it will be hard to do it for several aspect ratios, is there one that works for all ads? Thanks for any help 😀👍
Hey! For question 1 I would run the first $100 of your ad account as video view or engagement ads to ‘warm it up’; when you go to conversion campaigns try to only have 1 ad in review at a time. For question 2 I only make 9:16 videos but I design them so that when they’re cropped to 4:5 or 1:1 they still look good. You can crop them ON Facebook, you don’t actually have to render out separate versions of different sizes if you don’t want to (but you can).
After adding my pixel and locations etc mine doesn't say continue it just says publish without giving me the option to even upload my ad? Any thoughts?
If the bottom right just shows publish try clicking to go to the ad at the left or top of the screen manually. Sometimes instead of showing next it will show publish if you closed the campaign and re open it.
Grest and smart video as usually! More deeply question... For fb ads radar and discover, do you think the more budget has to be spent during Friday or immediatly before?
I started with traffic campaigns but didn't have very good results. As soon as I properly set up my FB Pixel and started running conversion campaigns, my streams/listeners/follow/etc all began growing steadily day by day. I HIGHLY recommend you don't waste too much money on traffic campaigns, they just don't work as well.
@@luckypython so u mean by collecting data from the campaings so you can use custom audiences ? I never understand how it is possible to lose so many conversions on the way. I mean they click on a LINK that drives to spotify.. but so many people get lost on the way.. how is that possible :D
Well that is interesting! Like your style. I had a single that came out in 2019 and it didn't get many ripples, so I am really trying to do it right this time!
Yeah guys use different parts of the songs when making your canvas, he droppin gems fr 😎👌💜💜 Like for example (Hook) // (Hook into verse) // (Verse2 into outro)
amazing. i previously tried ur manual story ads only before. will try for the automatic placement as per your suggestion for my upcoming single on 7 Oct.
When setting up a facebook pixel... do I need to use the pixel that I created for my website? Or does the pixel need to be setup specifically for Toneden or Hypeddit?
You can use the same pixel as your website, but it kind of depends. Without going into complicated details, it may be best to just make a 2nd Pixel and use that for all your streaming campaigns. Its not a big deal to use one for everything though.
Always great content Andrew. Thank you. Maybe time for a video talking about what you’ve learned so far on your Spotify marketing journey. For example it was surprising to hear that you are not as huge on Story ads.
Some real gems here, thanks Andrew. Any update on how to track conversions with the new Apple OS restrictions? Is it necessary to create an original landing page with an owned domain?
I did this. My results. Started at 4 followers and maybe 100 streams. Spent $20 over 4 days. 10 days later I have 1300 followers and 2500 streams. I almost thought it was bots but the traffic looks organic and even Apple Music had a massive boost. Ps thoughts on toneden being acquired by Eventbrite
When I put my ads on Automatic Placement, most of the budget goes to the Audience network and I get super cheap conversions but very few streams. I don’t understand why! When I put it on manual (stories and feeds) the cost doubles or triples but the streams grow too. Any insight?
Audience network targets sites outside Facebook. So there is a lot of bots just klicking on the link, giving you a lot of hits, but no 30 seconds listening. The reason why the price seems low, is that the sum of total klicks is divided on views. So when every bot klicks on the link, the price goes down. But in reality there is no one real person listens to your track (because its a bot) in 30 seconds to get it register as a stream in Spotify. But when you have a lot of real People ignoring your ad, the one who klicks it is invested in finding out more, and thus giving you a listening.
Facebook ads change every couple months, on top of that everyone is on a slightly different version of FB ads and there is no way to change which version you're on. Its a constant struggle that I don't appreciate honestly haha.
Very helpful! Thank you! 1 question if you can help me: I don't find the "link click " option in the "conversions optimization" ...Do you know why? If you can help me thank you so much!!!
hey Andrew, I've been enjoying your videos a lot and appreciate you sharing the information! It inspired me to set up facebook ads to promote my next single dropping on March 26 and hopefully trigger algorithm playlists. A roadblock came up, how do I target people who follow a specific page if the page isn't coming up in the "Interests" Detailed Targeting section? ex: people who listen to artists under a certain music label..the label isn't showing up and they do have an official page with about 12k likes.
Andrew, thank you so much for all the content you're creating about Facebook Ads. I've never been able to believe that I'm capable to promote my music on my own and after watching your videos, for the first time I feel that I can actually make my music heard! I have no words to say... So much respect for you and that you're sharing such valuable content for free! I wish you to achieve even better results with your music and your RUclips channel! Just subscribed and I will keep learning from you! THANK YOU!
It’s been awesome to see all this pay off for you Andrew! And pretty interesting to learn about along the way. I’m curious, how have you seen your Spotify grow in terms of monthly listeners and followers over the past 6 months or so? I’ve watched some of your videos from then and haven’t quite spotted those stats from March. Definitely curious how much progress you’ve made since then if you’re up to share!
Thanks! Looks like in February 2020 I had 4,100 monthly listeners, 8,600 monthly streams, and 605 followers. Today I have 28,000 monthly listeners, 84,000 monthly streams and 2,700 followers on Spotify.
@@AndrewSouthworth That's amazing man, thanks for sharing! It's definitely inspiring to see it work so well for ya; my band and I are about to try out FB/IG ads on a song in a few weeks, pretty stoked to see how it goes. Probably not as well as you're doing lol, but it seems like playing the long game here has actual substance/results to it from watching you kill it, so thanks for that dude! Looking forward to seeing you keep climbing 🤙
I think I did what you said. The toneden link page doesn't actually play music though right? You have to click the spotify link. Is that accomplishing anything with just a picture?
Hey Andrew! What would you suggest now that Detailed Targeting Expansion is suddenly mandatory in Conversion campaigns? Thanks for all the great tips so far!
Its mandatory in some ad accounts but not others, but I almost always use detailed targeting expansion anyways so to me its not a big deal that they're making it mandatory. I wish they would leave the option at least though. It shouldn't negatively impact your campaigns!
hi thanks for the explanations, I'm currently learning as much as I can from videos like this :) I'm wondering once you find which one has the lowest cost pe click, do you disable all the rest and let only that one running? if so how soon you do that?
Hey Andrew, I am looking at your Spotify Growth Machine course. But I have a question. I am not ready to do Spotify yet. Here is what I want to do... I want to set up an Ad that sends people to my landing page so they can download the 5-minute first track of my new concert live recording. Then I want to invite them to purchase the full concert video, the album or both. I'll do this in a little email series. SO basically, a classic lead magnet scenario. Can I use your course to do this and just swap out the Spotify landing page for my own landing page?? I really am looking for the teaching around doing Ads, not necessarily the Spotify piece. Although I will be ready for Spotify in about 3-months. Another question is, is your course kept up to date with all the changes that happen to Facebook??? I find it super annoying when I follow the videos and everything looks different to how it does in the training. So I won't want to buy it if that's the case. Looking forward to hearing back.
Hello Andrew, love the content you make, super informative and not really available in this detail elsewhere. I am following your marketing steps using feature fm and am confused by the result. FB says I have like 200 conversions of people clicking my ad and then clicking the spotify music service link but Spotify for artists is only showing that I have 17 listeners. Feature fm shows that I have like 500 clicks to service and like 300 clicks to spotify. All three of these platforms are telling me different things. I am not sure if it is 1.) because the data from Spotify is delayed enough to not have shown that influx of listeners I got from fb ads, 2.) Lot's of the results I got were from audience network and skewed older, perhaps they are just click happy and clicked both the listen now button on the ad and then also the spotify music service button on the feature fm landing page and then didn't actually listen? Do you have any insight on this?
Thanks for all the help with your videos Andrew, between you & Tom Dupree I've been deep diving on this information for a month preparing for a release. I, and many others, are getting hit hard with much larger CPR's (over $1) with everything set up correctly and still trusting the process and letting it run. I ran a duplicate with open targeting only putting in age demo and countries, and that one currently after one week has the absolute most impressions by a long shot, and lowest CPR @ $.60 and dropping. With the recent changes might this be more effective instead of detailed targeting down to Spotify and Bands at least until facebook (hopefully) fixes this? Thanks for all you do for us!
Hi Andrew! I really loved your videos on all these topics! I saw a video of your friend Tom DuPree III saying that he prefers to use manual placements (Stories only). Do you still recommend automatic placements?
Hey Matteo, theirs a pinned comment on this video with an update. Basically I just use Feed and Story placements nowadays. Most of my conversions come from IG Explore, IG Feed, and IG Stories, but sometimes FB Feed and FB Video get a lot of results as well. Definitely avoid Audience Network at all costs haha.
@@AndrewSouthworth Thank you so much for your reply, Andrew! I really like your channel, I discovered it a few days ago and I've learned tons of material which will be so useful for my debut song. You'll be a part of this process :-) ! Without your help you saved my campaign, I would have probably gone to a traffic campaign with no results at all or throwing money on bot playlists (without knowing it). I was frustrated by the fact of doing a promo for my music, a jungle of a lot of marketing stuff, and as you know, there's nothing more important to have a release promo on point and well organized! So Andrew, thanks again! I'll keep on watching your videos!
hey man! Could you maybe share the ad content you used? Not the setting but the content you promoted like did you advertise a teaser of the drop or the musicvideo what was it? :D would love to know!
Can you speak to this message from FB ads manager and what it means - "All domains need to be associated with a pixel event pair and an ad. Your pixel event was not associated with any domains. Ads without domains will be paused once Apple begins enforcing their new iOS 14 requirements unless you either set up your domain in Events Manager, select another pixel event or change your optimization."
Andrew, this is awesome! I super appreciate how you keep updating and remain current and keep up with changes in Facebook and your own learning and put it out there freely for all to learn and benefit from. I finally just put it all together and implemented my first campaign, so hopefully I set it all up correctly (fingers crossed). I am wondering if it is possible to go in at any time (even in the middle of a campaign) to make changes (adjust location or narrow audience or add another ad or to even change the end date?) Thanks!
Thanks! Glad you're digging it. Yeah you can edit your campaign whenever you want to tweak stuff like that, but when you do so it will have to re-optimize depending on what changes you make. So if somethings going very well, it might be best to duplicate the adset and tweak that new one instead of the ad set thats performing very well.
Hi Andrew, thanks for the awesome videos!! they are straight to the point and have helped me no end. One video I would like to see is setting up a landing page..I am with Banzoogle for my web address and this is critical to what I want to do so have you done this already?? if so pardon me!! let me know and thanks again from another musician who is crap at marketing!!
Hey Andrew , what do you use to create the different videos for your ads? is there a software you use? I like how you add the Listen On Spotify at the top. then you add you music on top of the art?
I use Adobe Premiere Pro, but you could also use final cut or davinci resolve. Premier pro is quite expensive, davinci resolves free version can get the job done though.
Hey, Andrew! 1st of all I would just like to appreciate how generous you are with your knowledge. I'm gonna do my 1st facebook/iG ads this upcoming sept. 25 and I'm gonna follow what you're doing. I'm gonna spend about Php5000 ($98). Just a quick question. How does the iG story look w/ text? Does it look weird? Because here in the Philippines, we don't have Facebook Story ads. So I'm guessing I'll do Facebook news feed and ig story ads... I just want to know your thoughts about this
Hey Andrew quick question, what exactly is the audience network, I would get a lot of conversions from it but not really a lot of streams so I was a bit distressed by using them
hi andrew. thanks for all the tips. my latest single is now doing well using toneden, fb pixel and fb ads as pernur technique. my questions is how long should i continue my ads before i turned it off for it to reached releae radar for those not following me yet and to appear on discover weekly? inran my ada from about 9 days already, thanks dudu for all the tips
Sounds interesting but would this work with small time indie artist? We are newbies and we were researching ways on how to market our music. We are ever grateful for your advise or tips if any.
I’ve been watching all your vids on FB adds, but I’ve been wondering what a good template or general rules to follow for the visual(s) themselves are? Seeing the settings have been super helpful thanks so much!
Andrew thanks so much for this and also for all your marketing videos some of which i have watched again and again! At the moment i have 82 spotify monthly listeners however taking your advice I will be growing that with both an album AND singles marketing campaign. i know you must be inundated with people asking for your advice but maybe the combo of both singles and album marketing at the same time could be an idea to watch and share with our fellow artists, musicians and producers
Andrew, love your vids, need some more info on how to integrate that Spotify,Apple landing page with Tone Den, I just don’t understand how that’s done you go pretty fast. I have a release in late Feb
So do you suggest only ad promoting a single song, or will this be just as effective on making a campaign to promote an entire album/EP on Spotify. What about showing a video with music from a song off the new record, but the call to action takes them to the whole release on the spotify artist profile?
you got me hyped haha! or at least you gave me sopme hope! It is really hard to get useful information about this topic as if it is a big secret! Sure you also need to produce something that people will like and not everyone will be as sucressful with it as you are...I will try it! Thank you very much! :)
I need help! I'm using Hypeddit but don't see "hypeddit smart link" in the drop down list for Conversion Event. I put in my Pixel ID number in Hypeddit Facebook Pixel option 7. I think I'll just choose view content until I get help on this lol. Thanks!
If you go to events manager and make a new custom conversion, you choose the hypedd smart link click there, and make a custom conversion from that. That’s what you use in your ad sets.
@@AndrewSouthworth Oh cool thanks!! I hope I did it correct. After I was able to choose the hypedd smart link click but I notice right under it, it says "Set Up a Conversion". Is that just something extra and I've done all I needed to do? Thanks again!!
Hi Andrew. Great content again!! I was wondering with a budget of $300 how long you would run the campaign? And how you would spread the cost out over that length? Cheers!
I typically do 3-5 weeks or so for my campaigns of most budgets. I front-lean the spending, typically 25% is spent over the first 3-4 days, by the time 2 weeks have past probably 75% is spent.
@@AndrewSouthworth Cheers Andrew!! I’ll use that structure. In terms of targeting and ad creative do you aim to narrow the campaign down to one creative and a few audiences including the best performing new audience and a retargeted audience? I’ve run two campaigns on two songs and have view content events for both so keen to use them! I was wondering if you have any videos or intend on doing videos for email marketing also? Thanks again for the great content. It’s helped significantly!!!
Everything was going well until I had to upload the video. It says the video isn't the right size for IG but works for FB which is odd since the video is 1080px by 1920px, which should be perfect for IG. Any tips?
So I used the steps in this video. I’m seeing results through tone den and have a great click through rate for Spotify. But the numbers on Spotify aren’t even close and it seems like they aren’t really any different than typical on my song. Am I missing something?
I would look at what countries you’re spending budget in, if it’s all getting spent in a couple countries that aren’t showing up in Spotify you may want to make a new campaign with much less countries. Also make sure to turn off audience network placements. This is relatively rare but often enough where it has a few common solutions.

WAW Congrats for your results and fantastic tune! You said you expected 200.000 streams and you actually got 1.400.000!! that is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much! Glad you found this helpful.
I honestly feel like everyone in the comments could get mad streams if we all just listened to each others music
FBI : DELETE THIS NOW !!!
But not real fans tho so, its not worth it
@@iammindflip youll never really know. Plus the more legit streams the more spotify will push your music anyhow. Ive gotten thousands of streams just by being on different spotify radio stations with similar artist from my last ep
You made a point here!
:D
you really help me alot, i been making music for 10 years, i just discover all this methods andchange my life! BIG THANKS!
These give results yeah, but we have to consider the already existing parameters of you having -
1) A number of followers which will already generate B number of streams
2) C number of streams from your traffic generating playlists ( considering it's added there)
3) D number of streams coming from your RUclips channel too, it's amazing you're helping all of us, so some of your RUclips fans who liked the song will also give you streams.
4) E number of streams from your Facebook ads
So you're having a total of (B+C+D+E) streams from all of these.
Thank you so much man! My favorite Facebook Ad video I have seen in a long time :D
Who is that 1 troll disliking this gem of a content? Ima hurt that person fr lmao. Keep up the great work man!!!
Thats awesome! Congrats on getting this up and running and getting results so quickly.
I tried this method yesterday for my latest campaign and my conversions & streams went way up, while my cost/result, cost/stream, and cost/follow all plummeted! Thanks for the tips Andrew!
Thats awesome! Glad this helped.
Great video Andrew, really appreciate it! Very well done. Got the information across clearly and concisely without any fluff. I've definitely subscribed!

Good stuff bro. Love your videos. Thanks.
Versatile here your strategy works at first I was skeptical but the numbers don’t lie will use this permanently

Yeah, he literally changes strategies with every campaign. Hard to keep up!
Thats the great/bad thing about marketing, things are constantly changing haha. Plus i'm constantly testing out new things to drop the cost, and sometimes old techniques stop working.

Amazing as always dude! You’re an educator through and through. Thanks for continuing to share your results!
Thanks dude! You've been doing awesome on your channel lately too.
Andrew Southworth thanks buddy!
I am going to try and get at least half as ambitious as you
Really helpful man great video I’m gonna use this strategy
This video is gold. Happy for ya man.
- Ferco
Unreal dude!!!! So much quality information
Thankyou!
I wish for the best with your release. 😊🙏
i am only 90seconds in and can already tell I'm going to love your video. You got straight to it, speaking clearly and understandably and already the strategy of investing more in the first 3 days and why you do that... I mean it's common sense once i heard you say it... thanks!@
Hey Andrew , love your videos, cant wait for more live streams as they are always the best.
Two questions:
1.If i just start out with ads and uploading on Spotify (its gonna be my third song on Spotify but first ever facebook ad), you said in several videos that its not good to start with conversion because you can get banned.
Your explanation is purely amazing! Thanks for the tips, I already see your channel as a great guidance for these things! Subbed!
Could you please say If Toneden is still working for pixel, or we need our own domain? Thank you.
Andrew, you rock man. Solid content, always soooo helpful
Dope! Looking forward to implementing some of these asap and see what it do. 🔥
Grest and smart video as usually! More deeply question... For fb ads radar and discover, do you think the more budget has to be spent during Friday or immediatly before?
Thanks for this vid, I had been using traffic campaigns for a while. Making the switch over to conversions and interested to see the difference!
Yeah guys use different parts of the songs when making your canvas, he droppin gems fr 😎👌💜💜
Like for example (Hook) // (Hook into verse) // (Verse2 into outro)
amazing. i previously tried ur manual story ads only before. will try for the automatic placement as per your suggestion for my upcoming single on 7 Oct.
Does hyperlink works also with TikTok ?
Ads ?
Love your in depth videos behind all the marketing Andrew!
I did this.
Interested to hear a response on this

Audience network targets sites outside Facebook. So there is a lot of bots just klicking on the link, giving you a lot of hits, but no 30 seconds listening.
The reason why the price seems low, is that the sum of total klicks is divided on views. So when every bot klicks on the link, the price goes down. But in reality there is no one real person listens to your track (because its a bot) in 30 seconds to get it register as a stream in Spotify. But when you have a lot of real People ignoring your ad, the one who klicks it is invested in finding out more, and thus giving you a listening.
Should we be putting hashtags in our ads that go to Instagram .If so where? In the optional description?
Amazing video. Thank you Andrew for the walkthrough! Does anyone have advice on acquiring Canvas for Spotify for Artists?
Thanks for all this information. Why does my ad manager look different from yours?
Facebook ads change every couple months, on top of that everyone is on a slightly different version of FB ads and there is no way to change which version you're on. Its a constant struggle that I don't appreciate honestly haha.
@@AndrewSouthworth ah that makes sense. it took me extra time but I eventually figured it out. thanks a lot!
Very helpful! Thank you! 1 question if you can help me: I don't find the "link click " option in the "conversions optimization" ...Do you know why? If you can help me thank you so much!!!
Hey! So as far as I understand I can use "view content" conversion in Ad set settings? I don't need to create a new custom event, do I?
hey Andrew, I've been enjoying your videos a lot and appreciate you sharing the information!
“The music is the only that that mattered” man, that pumped me all the way up. ❤️
Question - if I have a final budget in mind for the whole campaign, why do daily budget over lifetime budget?
So I won't want to buy it if that's
the case.
Thanks for all you do for us!
you're the man! Can't wait to use your wisdom for a release in a couple of months!
this man is truly GOATED thanks for all of the knowledge!
What cost do you aim for when running conversion campaigns? Cost per / click using a landing page.
My goal is typically $0.20-$0.30 per conversion. Thats when using a landing page.
@@AndrewSouthworth Alright cool! I'm currently laying around $0.63 per conversion with my ToneDen landing page :)
@@AndrewSouthworth thank you!
Great vids brotha. Love your work. Information is on point and detailed.
At the moment i have 82 spotify monthly listeners however taking your advice I will be growing that with both an album AND singles marketing campaign. i know you must be inundated with people asking for your advice but maybe the combo of both singles and album marketing at the same time could be an idea to watch and share with our fellow artists, musicians and producers
cant thank you enough for this. absolute legend
If you go to events manager and make a new custom conversion, you choose the hypedd smart link click there, and make a custom conversion from that. That’s what you use in your ad sets.
@@AndrewSouthworth Oh cool thanks!! I hope I did it correct. After I was able to choose the hypedd smart link click but I notice right under it, it says
"Set Up a Conversion". Is that just something extra and I've done all I needed to do? Thanks again!!
Uhhh if you can add it to your ad set as a conversion event and it turns green you should be good.
