Hey music lovers! I had this one "canned" for a week or two, and even though I know many of you are waiting for more 1970s rock, I feel justified in feeding my fellow classic country fans. The second "Pink Floydish" album is on its way and should be ready within a week.
I LOVE the 1958-1964 Nashville sound for more reasons than I could list here, but some are obvious:
Nashville session musicians were by far the best.
Among them were legends like Floyd Cramer, Grady Martin, and the Jordanaires.
Nashville recording techniques were far ahead of most of their counterparts in those days.
It produced so many legendary artists that it is almost hard to believe: Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline, Don Gibson, Marty Robbins-the list is almost endless.
I might finally add that most of that repertoire offers simple stories with a witty twist and a strong moral, which are all elements I truly appreciate.
I developed an ear for that sound in my late twenties, but I grew up in a home where my father absolutely admired the genre, so it slowly grew on me, I guess.
"Fooled Them..." is a perfect example of the half-caricature, half-moral lesson type of storytelling often found in that repertoire.
"Dixie Pine" is an instrumental, and, consequently, I will admit that, other than rejecting UDIO's proposals over and over until I liked what I heard, I have not had as deep an impact on the song as I usually have with the others. However, I found it interesting enough to include it here as a bonus track, mimicking the concept of an A and B side of a single release.
Hope you like it! Please share subscribe and comment! And akd for more of what you like the most, I will put it on my 'wait list"!

This channel is all about honoring the music of the past, from the 1950s to the 1970s, and bringing it into the modern age. This project is a labor of love, akin to writing musical 'fan fiction,' and I've approached it with the utmost respect for the original artists.
I understand that AI-generated music can be a divisive topic, but I believe the work and dedication that went into this album make it a valid and meaningful creation. It's a way for songwriters like me, who may not have access to traditional resources, to bring our musical visions to life.
I hope you'll join me on this musical journey and consider subscribing to the channel. Your support means the world to me, and I can't wait to share more projects like this in the future. Thanks for watching, and remember, all material on this channel is protected by copyrights. Enjoy!"
