    Thanks for this I have spinal stenosis and degenerative disk disease and never realized that I should wear a brace more often let alone which one and how to wear it. I'm in constant pain daily I'm definitely going to try a brace to help, I love to walk but can't go far anymore😢 so I'm going to see if a brace helps. Thank you ❤

  • @TLForsberg

    Guys, you showed the belts but not specific about what injuries are best to use the belts... I am post 6 weeks bed rest, starting PT for a herniated Extrusion at L4/L5 with Sciatica down left leg...into the foot. The pain has centralized for em and I can walk again. I believe the bed rest and Mackenzie exercises helped with that! I am looking at going back to work where I do a lot of sitting...would a brace be a good idea as a support? Some videos do not recommend them.

    Thanks for the videos. I'm 34 and I've dealt with horrible back pain since I was 16 yrs old after a football accident. No doctor listens to you when you are young and have back issues unless there is something very clear on MRI, ct, or xray. I am currently an ICU rn, and I need to find a brace as my back pain is so bad at work that it is debilitating and difficult to focus. Ibuprofen and tylenol, naproxen doesnt work. I need a good brace it's my last chance. I've come to the conclusion that my bulging lumbar discs are accompanied by continues spinal instability from wear and tear over the years. I cant sit or stand for very long without constantly squirming.

      Same here 33 and I’ve having pain in my lower back since y was 17, the doctors always said that is was just a muscle pull or something g like that and last year my newest doctor found a herniated disk and arthosis. Stretching, planking and pull ups are the best therapy for me even better that medicines! 👍👍 hope you guys are getting better

    • @jms4406
      @jms4406 3 года назад +5

      @@juanselobo funny you mentioned this at this time. I've improved significantly. Ended up not using a back brace, but started working out regularly again. Im down about 20lbs. I guess I potentially have ankylosing spondylitis (AS), which explains a lot and is important for understanding why I'm in so much pain that is difficult to pinpoint. At best everything is a dull ache. Anyway the main treatment for it is exercise. Imagine that. Once everything gets moving things are good again, very stiff in the morning in sacrolumbar region which is classic for AS. I'm going to use gaba supplements soon as I've read a bit of research on it. Not the medication, but the supplement to see if nerve pain improves. It also helps with depression and anxiety which for me is associated with pain. I think the increased pain at work was the stress level and associated tension. This has improved significantly since exercising of course.

    I actually bought a brace like these it was a different brand and style. but when I showed it to my chiropractor he said that he wouldn't Recommend wearing one all the time cuz it makes your spine weaker over time so any insight on that?
