L5-S1 disc spaces height is diminished. Osteophytes are seen at end plate. There is no vertebral collapse. Bone density is diminished. Impression : Lumber spondylosis. Osteoporosis.
Not only doing the stretching exercises twice a day has helped with my back spasms that were present prior to discovering your video, but I recommend two other suggestions which has helped my lumbar disc displacement and removed the intense spasiming of the back muscles: 1) take something organic for the inflammation such as Curcumin with glucosomine tablets. 2) During the day wear a lower back "tensor" support wrap. Take the tensor support wrap off of the lower back while napping or nightly sleeping. These exercises, the Curcumin/glucosomine tablets, and the tensor wrap for the lower back during the day has really helped to heal the lower lumbar region and the muscles of the entire back. Thank you Bob.
this actually works, my dad was suffering from Spondylolisthesis, we went to see a lot of doctors, but other than painkiller and calcium there were no treatment, finally one doctor suggested above exercises and it worked like magic, I can see improvement in my dad's condition, so who every struggling from Spondylolisthesis, i strongly recommend to try these exercises, apply olive oil and have patience.
This is the craziest thing. I had a skiing accident when I was 14 and fractured 3 lower vertebrae. When I was 17 I was diagnosed with spondylolesthesis while going to follow up doctors for pain. Didn't get the surgery and life went on. A week ago I injured my lower back enough to go to urgent care. They said it was a sprain just gave me meds and sent me along. yesterday I told my Gf that I had been diagnosed with this and I wondered if it had flared up if possible. I check RUclips this morning and saw this and almost spot out my coffee. I couldn't believe y'all were talking about it! Thank you so much and thanks to God
Thank you for sharing your knowledge for us. My wife is doing your exercises daily. She was not able to walk alone before, she had tons of pain. But now after your exercises she feels more comfortable. She can walk alone and she hasnt any more pain. You are our angel. Thank you a lot :)
I’m going to try your exercises I can’t stand this pain and the life style I have now since I’ve had condition looks like it will work !!! Better than taking pain killers that don’t really work anyway a big thankyou Granny Sandra !
I’m 65 diagnosed with spondylolisthesis recommended surgery is fusion the T lift of L4 L5/L5 S1. You are exactly right standing and walking are the two things that hurt me more than anything else shooting pains in my left leg and foot and especially left buttocks. I just did a few of your exercises with you and feel better to some degree already. Please keep it coming. Thanks. PS I am really trying to avoid surgery
The present surgery options , as far as I know, are not recommended unless you have already become dysfunctional. When I looked into 'fusion operations', I thought wtf! After surgery, 3 or 4 vertebrae would be immovable .
Your exercises are too good. They have relieved a lot of my pain. Also the pelvic tilt n pressing of the back are all so relaxing after asmall walk. Thankyou Bob .God Bless You.
Thank You so much I was in so much pain and I tried this it really works...waking up in lower back pain knowing in you tube in Gods help I was able to find you...God bless you Sir!!! Pls make more it really help...
Thank you for making this video. It's professionally shot and easy to follow. I tried all of your recommended stretches for my newly-diagnosed spondylolisthesis and the pain got worse. Maybe after several sessions the pain will subside, so I will keep doing them. The pain makes me cranky and impatient, and I am not satisfied with the orthopedic doctor's visit I did last week with a physician's assistant here in Atlanta, GA. He took xrays and confirmed my sponylolisthesis in the vertebrae L4 or maybe L5. It hurts bad especially when I walk. The only treatment that helps is a heating pad. Ther ortho PA wrote prescriptions for Gabapentin, Medrol (methylprednisolone), and Diclofenac. After 3 days of faithfully taking these meds my pain actually is worse. The ortho clinic asked me to come back in 2 weeks for a follow-up visit. While I didn't expect them to write a script for a narcotic, especially after I told them I was in AA and had 6 years sober, what they did write for might as well be placebos. Like I said I am cranky and my back and leg hurt. Next up is physical therapy so until then I will put up with the pain. Maybe they will give me a nerve block shot or whatever they inject you with. Sometimes I get so frsutrrated with doctors who undertreat the symptoms because they fear who knows what - maybe that I am a drug seeker? I am not. Do doctors believe in "First do no harm" or "First do no help?"
Mark, I can see your frustration and I can only give you just hope because the pain will get better with time and not all pain in the lower back come from abnormalities you see in the X-ray or MRI scan. Movement is then key for recovery and avoiding things that bother the back for the 1st 2 to 3 weeks. Connecting with nature and doing some hubbies you enjoy can be a great help to calm down your nervous system. Stress is one of the most underline cause of back pain. I hope this help 👍
My Mom is going through the same. The pain is excruciating. She's had 8 kids, is now 85 years old, and NEVER complains of pain, EVER; yet now she is reduced to tears at times and shaking all over from the pain she is in. I am so sorry you are going through this, too. We are STILL trying to get her insurance to fulfill the entire 30 day prescription for Hyrdrocodone (which really doesn't touch the pain, but at least she can take the edge off), which her doctor prescribed a WEEK ago. Freaking BlueCross/Blue Shield only agreed to 7 days of pain meds, even though she is at 10+ on pain level almost constantly b/c it is a 'controlled substance' and a DOCTOR prescribed it to her. My elderly mother is NOT drug seeking, and yet they are treating her as such. So, my point is, Mark, please don't lose hope and don't think they are targeting only you. Great doctors are few and far b/w, and there is not an insurance company out there who is not raping their clients for the exorbitant monthly payments, then doing all they can to refuse to honor their commitment to the 'insured' by refusing to pay for any and everything they think they can get away with. It is organized crime, taking advantage of the sick and vulnerable; the same is true, IMO of our entire health care system. We are STILL trying to get the doctor to do his job to get my Mom the meds she needs. At any rate, I have found if you are firm and clear in advocating for yourself, speak up, ask questions, you get more of your needs met. Ask the doctor to their face -- Are you avoiding giving me pain relief b/c you think I am drug seeking? Wait and listen for the answer. Follow up: What alternative treatment can you offer me today, now, that is going to alleviate my pain? Can I receive a cortisone injection TODAY to mitigate the pain? Can you talk to me about epidural procedures? How soon can I get scheduled? You just have to refuse to let them shuffle you out of the office. Also, if you have a friend or family member who can go with you to the appointment, it helps to have their input. Press record on your cell phone, too, so you can get everything the doctor says; it's easier than taking notes. I hope this helps. I'm sending you good juju from Acworth!
Thank you for this. I have been diagnosed with spondy stage 2 I began having major problems when I started doing yoga everyday. Even in correct yoga positions my back began to have issues. This is such a helpful utube. I have sciatica that changes from one side to the other. One day on one side and next day might be on other side. I also have been diagnosed with piriformis syndrome but doctor said it’s related to the spondy. I’m a very active 67 year old female and want to stay active. Thanks again. These exercises and information are helping.
Hi LaMarr, Thank you for your kind feedback and I'm glad you find it helpful. I believe movment and staying active can keep you going and help you improving your symptoms. I’m glad to accidentally tuned in. I have L4 5 S1 spondylolisthesis per MRI. Tried doing the exercises as you are demonstrating and felt immediate relief. Thank you .
The well explanatory exercises. The most helpful video on RUclips . I had gone through many videos on lumber L1-S1 spondylolisthesis exercises for my spouse. I think this may be model for them. I am not well versed with English, but I can get every word. Simple language. I am following this routine. One important lesson we got that it is not mandatory to do back to back exercise. So, this became easier for us.
Hi Borle, thank you for your kind feedback and appreciate your help. This is a great help for me to know you can clearly understand my language and what I'm trying to show you in my video. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help. All the best. Bob
This is a wonderful, informative, helpful video. Bob is a really good Physical Therapist and teacher, with a very pleasant demeanor. I can tell he loves his work as a PT. I know I just got a really good deal to be able to watch this for free. Thank you!

This is amazing! I've been feeling stiff lately and it is so nice to find a video from a person with realistic expectations for what the average viewer can do
Great video, I swear RUclips is listening to me cuz I was literally feeling back pain after working out and I open RUclips and this is just in my recommended feed but this man is a godsend.
They are listening to you. Simply no question about that. Remember if you get something of value (RUclips for example) and it costs you no money, you're not the consumer, you're the product! Good luck with your back
This is the best video I’ve seen and tried since my back has been hurting from spondylolisthesis. I will definitely do this video once a day preferably at night before going to bed. But I’ll probably do two times a day. Thank you it really helped this morning when I got up.🎉
Thank you so much, I never had pain but after lifting in the gym I hurt my lower back while doing deadlift 2 months ago, Iv been doing these every morning, my back feels amazing.
I too hurt myself while doing deadlift. Now after 6yrs after the XRay it states spondilosis. I will practice these exercises too and hope it recovers the L4. .. This back pain is killing me🙏🙏🙏
Hello good day..I'm 61 years old suffering pain due to lumbar spondylosis.im very thankful I find your vlog about how to help cure lumbar spondylosis..🙏❤️
I want to thank you for these exercises. I started doing two of them because I injured my spondylolisthesis. They helped me with the very first time I did them, and I wasn't doing them exactly correctly, just how I remembered them.. (I will improve now that I've watched this again). I've had spondylolisthesis for 10 years but it was stable til I recently lifted something heavier than I was supposed to; I couldn't stand up, I was in too much pain.. I mean straight up, I could stand and walk but I was bent over, so your exercises, a heating pad, and muscle relaxant helped me recover to a very comfortable level.. I will continue doing them
Hi janey I am also suffering from this. I injured my self few months ago at work by pushing something heavy being diagnosed spondylolisthesis. It is all new to me. How do you deal with this if you had it for 10 years? Are you always on constant pain?
This is too short of an area for me to describe my progress, but the short version would be --at first it was very painful but Physical Therapy 'type' exercises I also had Chiro and weekly massages at first ..you have to learn to move differently (very differently in a way) I do exercises every morning (except one day a week I skip). I strengthen that area of my back and the core & it's like a miracle.. and I am not in any pain but observe the 'do not twist your shoulders and pelvic area- keep those in parallel with each other' and that's helpful too @AyubHassan-cq3ke
Hello ma'am, I have pars defect on one side, can it happen on both sides in future, what exercise should I do, I have a lot of back pain, what exercise should I do, please tell me and
I’ve known about my spondylolisthesis since I was in my early 20s but it didn’t slow me down. Now at 65 I can definitely feel it, but it’s a very manageable condition, especially with the help of Physical Therapists like Bob.
Thank you for posting this video. I suffer from spondylolisthesis, stenosis, bulging disks L-3 & L4. I am trying to avoid surgery. Hoping your exercise can help this 62 yr old woman who is not ready to give up.
I’ve gained some weight due to life circumstance (that I’m working to get off) in the last year and I know my muscles are weaker. Because of it I have developed the worst case of sciatica that I’ve ever had! This video (and others you posted) have helped alleviate some of the pain while I work to get my strength back! First night of rolling and stretching and it has already made a noticeable difference. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the video. I have been on pain since May 2022. Doctors gave me pills and said that I had sciatic. In July I could not walk normal, my left leg was killing me. When to a different doctor and she send me to a PT and was on medical leave. No one decided to request n MRI. During that time, I also got diagnosed with Rhabdomylosys. Finally, they did multiple MRIs, and the results for the back say mild spondylolisthesis. I am tired of having pain at 35 years old.
your video is so helpful for me i suffered for hard walking with this condition of mine and chiro had a lot of money for only one session. thank you so much for sharing this video. God bless ❤
This seems very clear and concrete, I'll give it 28 days and come back wit feedback. Thank you for bringing help for us who struggled for years with mds and er.
Wow!! Finally someone who not only explains things in a way that I can understand but also in a very detailed manner. I had a sacro-iliac fusion in 2019 but was also told at the time that I have “spondy”Awesome video and I’m going to start these right away. * Nervous about the bridges tho😬
Melissa, bridge is one of the most safest movement that you can try and one more thing that we as human cab adapt 💪🏻✌ keep doing what you doing and let me know if you have any questions. All the best. Bob ✌
Hello Bob, Thanks for doing this video. The graphics are great! The background is uncluttered, serene, soothing, calming, relaxing and overall, aesthetically motivating to try, and to continue the exercises. The use of a cozy, feel-good space (kitchen floor) encourages the viewer to utilize whatever environment or space they might have available to them (i.e., floor; bed or sofa for those who may not be able to get down to and back up from the floor), to perform the exercises, with the point being to just try the exercises, thereby reclaiming at least a small portion of control of a body that seems to have betrayed it's owner. My ONLY recommendation so far Bob, is to ask you to wear lighter color apparel, so it will be easier to see exactly what movements you are demonstrating, ESPECIALLY, when the movements are subtle such as in the posterior pelvic tilt exercises at the beginning of this video. Other than that, you have done an EXCELLENT job with this! Your tone throughout the video is engaging and your passion for what you do shines through brightly! GREAT JOB BOB! I look forward to your next video!
Thank you for the kind msg 😃❤️ I’m 100% agreed should have changed my clothes to something lighter colour 👏👏 I have change it in my new videos. Have a great day and all the best 🙏
Dr. thank you for this wonderful knowledge you shared with us. This is exactly what is affecting me as confirmed to me by Dr. here in Nigeria. I am very grateful to you for this contribution. Awaiting for more of this piece. Once more thank you and remain blessed. I shall always follow you for more.
Bob, I've watched others on RUclips, to help with lower back and hip pain, combined with a lot of stiffness. Your videos are a cut above the rest!! I believe your information is helping me a lot, keep them coming please, good luck 🙏👍
I injured my spine playing baseball and swinging for the fences. Swung the bat so hard I gave myself a spondylo. Bringing my knees to my chest for about 2 mins or so will bring relief during a flare up for me. Great advice here. Thanks for the video.
One question, Should you wait for some time after a flare up before doing the core exercises? Currently experiencing sciatic sensations still and I'm not sure.? Thanks.
Thank you for your question, I have a routine that you can follow for your Sciatica. ruclips.net/video/StbdGR0ftxg/видео.html Please let me know if you have any question. Bob
Thank you P.T Bob for sharing and demonstrating the exercises for relief of my pain due to mild spondylitis L4L5. I am here in the Philippines. God bless you ❤😂
Hello Bob I have been in the US Marines for around 11 years and i have recently been diagnosed with spondylolisthisis after doing a series of xrays and an MRI. My provider referred me to a neurosurgeon and he immediately recommended me for an l5-s1 spinal fusion (alif) with posterior brace. I went to 2 different doctors just to get multiple opinions and they both mentioned that i needed surgery, however, one doctor never mentioned the alif method. They said that i had a grade 1 condition. My pain has dramatically decreased from how it was when I initially started feeling the sharp pain. Now all i feel is back stiffness and soreness. I am in pretty good physical shape, and have been focusing in strengthening my core via planks. I decided to hold off on the surgery due to the million complications i have read online, and since my back does not feel that messed up i wanted to give myself another year and see how it plays out. I found your videos very informative, however, id like to ask you if its safe to do lightweight deadlifts and squats.
I would be happy to help, & I have made a video that could answer your questions. Please watch the video and let me know if you need anything else!? Check the Link below 👇 Bob ruclips.net/video/Exv3OxY_WqY/видео.html
Hey I have grade 1 spondylolisthesis in the same spot as you. Went to the doctor recently and recommended physical therapy first. I’m only 24 and I’d be afraid of doing some drastic as fusion as it could cause complications later but I’ll do what I have to do. But wanted to ask how you’ve progressed?
@@SheepNeek hello! So i ended up getting the surgery back in june. It has been a little over 6 months and i am feeling much better than before surgery. I am not pain free by any means, but my quality of life has significantly gotten better, so i call that a win. The surgery was rought, and the road to recovery even harder, especially when i love to be extremely active in both sport and work. Now i am back at the gym, running, and swimming. I have not attempted deadlifts yet, but hoping to get on a light routine soon.
@@nexusSethios Sorry you had to do surgery, but glad to hear you're doing well with it. I hope it continues to get better. Hopefully I can manage mine as long as possible and if surgery is in the future that I can have a similar experience. Appreciate the reply. I hope I can go back to being active soon by whatever means. Best of luck and thank you for your service!
@@nexusSethios so glad to hear the surgery was successful! I am a candidate for the surgery and my neuro surgeon said to tighten the core and come back when I can't walk. But the pain can go down to the heel and ankles. I did stop most (all) racquet sport and no running or bouncing. I am an avid cyclist and that helps. I can still play golf, but I do prefer racquet sports. But I also want to age into my 80's straight and limber (I am not 68). Gabapentin does help me.
Thank you both for this video. I've had spondylolisthesis since age 13 (yes - as a result of doing gymnastics at school!), now aged 45 and this is the first time I've felt confident enough to try these exercises. Your videos are really helping to increase my mobility and ease the chronic discomfort. Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to upload these videos so regularly.
Thanks so much! I've got Spondy I, and was looking for helpful exercises to help keep my back strong. Hopefully they will help me to keep kicking in Tae Kwon Do. I look forward to trying the advanced ones, too. These will be first, though, until they're no longer challenging. Thanks a million!

Hi Harvey, your English is very good and I would be happy to help you. If you tell what kind of symptoms are you having and what activities bothering you the most ? I will be able to send you a routine to follow. Have a great day. Bob
@@bobthephysio thanks mate. My symptoms are chronic pain in the lower back just above my tailbone. Twisting and bending over are about to, in order to switch from sitting and standing I’m having to use something to assist like doorknob or something. They said my L5 -s1 has shifted somewhat.
Great video, thank you! I also have osteoporosis. Are any of these exercises detrimental for that? Also, which exercises, such as twisting, would be bad for spondylolisthesis
Thanks Christy for your kind feedback. This routine is pretty Low impact and you can follow the exercises if you experience Oastioprosis. In regards to rotation, it's really depend on individual, any rotation that create spinal extension or hyperextension we want to minimise and watch it !! however, you might not feel any pain or discomfort. I would ask you what type of activities and movements does aggravate your pain and based on that you may need to minimise x & Y movement. I would like to add, I would always add some strength work to your routine if you experience Oastioprosis 👌 let me know if you have any questions. Bob
Glad I came across your page. I have zero disc left between my L5 and S1 with stage 2 spondylolisthesis. I cannot find a doctor that will give me specific exercises. Going to try all of these and will update after I try. Thank you.
this relieved my back pain instantly. I have been feeling back for about 4 days after an adjustment. Had an X-ray taken and has very little slippage between l1 and l2 ( I believe). Just did these exercises and instantly felt amazing. thanks so much. Do recommend wearing a decompression brace or some type of brace while working out to avoid more spillage or prevent pain?

You can try this routine before making a decision about surgery !! I would suggest to stick to 2 sessions a day at least for the next 3 weeks. Let me know if you have any questions. Bob
Well!! Thank you for this video. I was being informed constantly by UK practioners for initially as having a bad back. I then had an MRI scan, and was diagnosed with having stenosis. Eventually, I got referred to a spinal specialist who had some x-rays done which has now helped to diagnose my condition more specifically as having spondylolytic spondylolisthesis. Your video has assured me that I can live a normal life as is possible, but that I must help myself with excercises. I've been searching for some time and now am pleased to have come across your recommended excercises. The only thing that I am still looking for are the DEEP CORE excercises.. not for the six pack, but the muscles UNDERNEATH . If you have a video of that, please do let me know the link. i have spondy from a 23 y.o. laminectomy l5-s1 fusion. the disk at l4-l5 is slipped and causing lots of pain. videos like this help me add to the rehab. I trying to avoid surgery (im already cleared). I need to hold on until next year spring.
I'm 20yrs old college student and I want to prevent spondylolithesis, as I'm suffering from consistent lower back pain for past 4 years. Also, my maternal grandmother was diagnosed with it at 70 yrs of age and my mother is diagnosed at 46 yrs of age, I consulted the doctor to ask if I may be at risk of spondylolithesis in future. The doctor asked me to start exercising regularly from now and prevent activities that may stress spine. Help me with suggestions of exercises and other things to take care of. Thank ypu for the video, it's really helpful. 😊
Hi Diya, I would be happy to help you. My question is that if your experience any pain or discomfort at the moments? or you just want to prevent this problem ? Bob

I need a little help sir..i have back pain down towards leg and it shifting from left leg to right leg.. My M.R.I. Hi there :).Your MRI report is positive and many part of ur back is normal and in regards to Annular Tear I have a great routine to follow to help u with reducing pain and improving ur mobility. Plz follow this routine daily for the next 4 weeks. Besides that let me know if you have any questions. Bob ruclips.net/video/qbnFdG_ZULY/видео.html
I dont have that diagnosis but have mild herniation of L4 5 S1. I have pain low back at times. Been to therapy years ago still doing those therapy excercises also yoga and walk 2-3 x week. Have had this pain since 2002. But exercise keeps it at bay. I will try these. Thank you
Hi Lynda, thank you for your msg and I would be happy to help. If you have this injury so long I suppose you could come up with a plan to gradually improve your pain, with graided exposure !! if you need further help please let me know. Bob
You describe exactly my situación I WAS diagnosed with antherolestesis but that país is constantly make feeling unstable I Will practice these exercises thanks tobyoub❤❤❤❤😅😅😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Bob. I have grade 1 spondylolisthesis at L5-S1. Probable associated bilateral pars defects at L5. Mild levocurvature centered at L3 with Cobb angle 23 degrees measured from T12-L1 to L5-S1. Grade 1 anterolisthesis. Multilevel disc desiccation. Severe disc height loss at L2-L3, L3-L4 and L5-S1. Degenerative marrow changes at the endplates of L2-L3, L3-L4, and L5-S1. The conus terminates at L1. There is a severe spinal canal narrowing at L3-L4 with clumping of the cauda equina. Moderate narrowing of neural foramina at L4-L5 and severe narrowing at L5-S1. Moderate rotatory levoscoliosis.
There aren't many choices of doctors or physical therapists in my town. I've been to a PT for 6 weeks mainly for L3-L4 and L4-L5 disc bulge and anterolisthesis of L4 on L5. My doctor only read me what the MRI said. My PT only tells me to do certain exercises roughly without explaining what they are for, what to avoid, or what part to engage. Over these past 6 weeks, some parts got little better, while others worse. I've been having wrong positions and postures with workouts and activities. I mainly want to thank you for making this video and others with details and tips, which are most helpful. If possible, may I ask what to to do and/or to avoid for my condition with BOTH disc bulge and anterolisthesis problems? thanks
Hi Bob, I think I am going to the Par or stress fracture on my back.😢 due to playing sports or putting too much stress on my back!! This video really helped me to understand. It's only been 2 days since I am doing the exercises/stretch and it feels good. Do you have any more exercises on stress fracture on back? Please help as it's very difficult for me to bend down and live normal life😢

Hello Bob, thank you for your helpful exercises, and I want to know if the exercises can reverse the sickness. Thanks very much.
You can definitely improve your symptoms and gradually build strenght and movement 😃
L5-S1 disc spaces height is diminished.
Osteophytes are seen at end plate.
There is no vertebral collapse.
Bone density is diminished.

Lumber spondylosis.

@@shabbirstaynkool6931having back pain since 1.4 years , ni recovery yet what should I do now
This is the craziest thing.
That's interesting, thank you for sharing your story glad u find this video helpful 🙌 cheers

Thank you for sharing your knowledge for us. My wife is doing your exercises daily. She was not able to walk alone before, she had tons of pain. But now after your exercises she feels more comfortable. She can walk alone and she hasnt any more pain. You are our angel. Thank you a lot :)

Thank you for your clear explanation. I want to show my report. How can i approach

I will continue doing them
Glad to hear that Jany 👋 I have a core routine for spondylolisthesis you could add to your routine. Check my channel. Bob ☝️🙏❤️

Thank you for demonstrating in detail the exercises.

Hello Bob
I have been in the US Marines for around 11 years and i have recently been diagnosed with spondylolisthisis after doing a series of xrays and an MRI.
Check the Link below 👇 Bob

Great job sir 💯
Great information and fair play Bob, appreciate your kind work and always replying to all msgs. God bless brother.
Appreciate your kind feedback brother 🙏❤ cheers

Thank you both for this video. I've had spondylolisthesis since age 13 (yes - as a result of doing gymnastics at school!), now aged 45 and this is the first time I've felt confident enough to try these exercises. Your videos are really helping to increase my mobility and ease the chronic discomfort. Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to upload these videos so regularly.
You're so welcome! glad to see you find it helpfull. Cheers

Thanks Kevin for the kind feedback 👍💪🏻
This is exaclty what physical therapy had me doing when i was going to them. It didn't help me at all. Glad it helped others in the comments.
I would be happy to help you. Are you doing any rehab program or exercises at the moment and what activities bothering you the most? Sorry for the delay. Bob
Very clear explanation Bob, thank you so much! Knowledge is like gold and silver and you made me rich today! It's not easy being young and having this condition but this helps my muscles a lot. New follower Norway
Glad it was helpful! Hi Norway. Cheers
Thankyou for the video. I live in Thailand and the language barrier is quite hard, I’ve had chronic back pain for the last month and just shook it off as a pinched nerve. Went for an x ray yesterday and was told my bottom vertebrae are out of line. He wasn’t clear on what I should do except take some anti inflammatory painkillers. So happy I have found your excersises
Thank you.
Hi Velvet, thanks for your msg and the I'm looking forward to hearing back from you. All the best. Bob
@@bobthephysio sir can I give me ur watsapp no.. I will send my mri... I was vry scared and more pain..plz help me🙏🙏
this relieved my back pain instantly.
Glad to hear that :) All the best
Thank you so much for your video. I have grade 1 spondylolisthesis. After watching your video and reading the comments I am really gaining confidence. I will definitely start these exercises from tomorrow and write my review after a week. Thanks once again from 🇮🇳...

@@prabukyokushin5681how are you bro now?
Thank you Bob for all your videos. I´ve been diagnosed with spondylolisthesis grade 2 from L5-S1. It has been degenerative since a few years ago i was grade 1, i´ve been with some doctors and they all recommend surgery . Im afraid that later it can go as to grade 3. What are your opinions about it?
In the meantime, I shall be viewing all the videos you have posted. Once more, many thanks

Great advice, simple and straight forward with no equipment needed to treat my spondilolysthesis.....one question, with a L5/S1 issue that is seen as low grade where I have no pain but some discomfort in my legs and a general weakness feeling in my back with a lumbar protruding outwards when I sit, can I still play football (soccer) and go running?
You can definitely play football or run however I would suggest to add some overall upper & lower and core strength work to your daily routines. In the meantime, monitor your daily activities and see what activities aggravates your symptoms and pain and try to modify & adjust them. Bob
Thanks you for sharing us your talent. God bless you more Bob. I have L4 n L5 SI problem. They told me this degenerative and need operation. Will I be heal without operation? Bob, can I do this routine to alleviate anterolisthesis pain if I have herniated and buldged discs l5, l4 at the same level? Was so excited to have found these exercises to deal with anterolisthesis. Won't they affect the hernia though? As I've learned there's a contradiction of flexion and extension with these two problems((( Would really appreciate your reply!!
I've had grade 2 L5/Sacrum for 20 yrs apx. Pars fracture.
I'm afraid now I am at grade 3 from a recent fall backwards.
I have been going to PT and have 2 more visits allowed, i do the exercises between visits. Your exercise is more advanced than they've given me. I will add to my routine.
I Still have the aching pain, foot sometimes goes numb. Worst of all symptoms is the pain in front groin area when flexing legs. I try stretching and not much help yet.

After many years of back pain I was diagnosed with degenerative discs at L4 - L5 and L5 - S1. Recently the pain has been unbearable. I discovered this video a couple of days ago and tried the exercises more out of hope than expectation of any improvement. I am now virtually pain free after a couple of days. Thank you so much for uploading this video.
Most welcome, Glad you find it helpful 😊

Doing this after my surfing injury. I received my MRI result :
L4-5: Disc desiccation with mild height loss, mild posterior bulging and
annular fissuring with a small focal protrusion, and mild left facet arthrosis,
which cause mild spinal canal and bilateral neural foraminal stenosis.
L5-S1: Chronic bilateral L5 isthmic spondylolysis without spondylolisthesis.
Tiny annular fissure and focal protrusion in the right neural foramen in
contact with the right L5 nerve root without nerve root displacement. Patent
spinal canal and neural foramina.
CONCLUSION:
1. Mild L5-S1 degenerative disc disease with a small posterior protrusion
causing mild spinal canal and bilateral neural foraminal stenosis.
2. Chronic L5 spondylolysis without spondylolisthesis.
3. L5-S1 tiny right neural foramen disc protrusion without spinal stenosis.

If possible, may I ask what to to do and/or to avoid for my condition with BOTH disc bulge and anterolisthesis problems? thanks
