Just had an MRI and have a disc extrusion. I felt like many of the commenters. My active life was over and all that that infers. I was careful and stopped all of that activity for a while and now it is fine. I am very careful about lifting with my legs and not my back now, but there have been times I’ve tweaked it and feel it. But even the numbness in my left shin has gone away. Of course each of us is different, but if someone had said I’d feel this good 3 months later, I would never have believed them. Hang in there and remain hopeful!
Thanks for the pep talk. I'm on day 2 of complete agony and I needed to hear that there's a way out of it. I'll likely be bedridden for my 28th birthday and I'm sitting here thinking that I'll have to quit the sport I love to ever hope to live a relatively pain-free life with all the back issues I've been having.
same bro I laid on a foam roller the wrong way and I felt it hit my nerve and it was excruciating pain. Been in agony for 2 weeks. I have an L4 L5 herniated disc.

For four long years I've been dealing with sciatica and I didn't know what it was. Until a few weeks ago. Because, of this I haven't been able to hold a real job. I think God for letting me find these videos!
@@ClarkKasheta I ve had injections and a bit of therapy , but now working on mind-body connection (John Sarno) and trying to influence the way my brain thinks about pain..
75 years old, suffering the worst pain of my life, fearing I can no longer take care of my home, garden, dogs, and myself -- but this video gives me real hope. Thank you!!!!
I am dealing with a herniated disc right now. It is located at S4 and S5. It is the worst pain ever. I have been active my entire life and yes it takes a mental toll.
I’ve been really depressed about my stubborn back injury, as I’m only 28 and have a lot of energy, but can’t do a lot physically anymore. I also have a very physically demanding job that has been just injuring it more, so I’ve been worried about my career. I was starting to think that I’d be stuck with the pain forever, as I roll it, use heat, stretches, exercises...but this video has given me hope again, as I pass them all! I just need to be more assertive on asking for breaks to exercise, I can do this!
Tessicat omg i feel you im 18 and i have two herniated discs. some days i feel like i’m never gonna get better but watching videos like these makes me feel better. the first step in healing is being positive and i thank you for sharing yours. we will get better! :)
Please try walking up steep inclines get your self an inversion table to hang at about 20 degrees learn to massage spasms until they are gone to help relax the back. Good Luck Deep breathing helps try this, lay on floor stretch out breath in for ten hold breath ten using diaphragm and lower stomach muscles force air out for ten, keep this posture and continue repeating for 100 times be amazed using stomach muscles to force air out. It realigns the spine.
I’m mid 20s with a herniated disk. I’ve been in extreme pain for about a week, found your videos, your stretches have reduced my pain and given me back mobility. Thank you guys so much. If I keep on it I’ll be back working out in no time!
In my 20’s I had a pretty bad case of sciatica, confirmed by MRI to be caused by a bulging disc. I didn’t have a good handle on how to properly recover and dealt with the pain for a couple of years. I thought it would never go away. The reality is that it healed on its own slowly; one day I realized I had zero pain. Don’t be discouraged! It can get better
@@useraccount1187 I didn’t follow up with an MRI - I considered myself “fully healed” when I had absolutely no pain. It was something that gradually got better. It was also hard (agonizing) to sit down and I would have to arch my back aggressively, but one day I remember sitting down and realizing I had no pain and that perhaps months had gone by without noticing it. This was after 2-3 years of sciatic pain. I have since been able to pursue flexibility/mobility and have achieved palms on the floor with legs straight, no issues running or jumping or squatting - but I also have been very mindful about living a healthy and active lifestyle as well
@@adamrosner7736 You can bend and touch ground with palms? That's really great to hear. I'm almost 2yr after initial injury. Not yet healed, but I feel that its getting better every month.
This video literally saved my back and leg. God bless you guys. I started doing that floor stretch up stomache down, and instantly my leg started feeling relieved. Like you guys said, "it's like a miracle." On the first stretch it took so much pain in my leg away. I'm excited to see what happens when I continue doing this everyday. I'm so grateful for your videos! Keep up the good work. You are helping so many!
Found out I have a large disc protrusion with narrowing spine and thought I was facing surgery. Surgeon said my body is healing itself! Thank God. This video helped convince me too, so many yes’s!
These guys are amazing. I went from excruciating pain and numbness to some pain and numbness slowly residing. Just from that one exercise laying on stomach and pelvis down pushing arms up . Amazing
I have going to a local PT for sciatic nerve pain. Some of the home exercises they suggested for me to do came from that book. It has helped tremendously in the 5 to 6 weeks I have had a huge improvement.
You guys have saved me so much pain, and have helped me get rid of 2 herniated discs. much. I can't express how greatful I am to your channel. Really guys, your videos have pretty much saved me.
I watched several of your videos and found out I had sciatica. I had previously gotten some shots of hyaluronic acid in my knees but it didn't help at all. The first video of Bob and Brad's I saw said to put a bolster pillow behind your back when you are sitting. I actually sit quite a bit during the day because I'm at my computer. After months of dealing with this extreme pain up and down my leg and especially on the upper part, my pain was virtually gone within 48 hours! No more taking Advil and ibuprofen all day long! I'll try this new exercise and I know I will feel 100% in no time at all! Thanks, Bob and Brad!
@@johnnyrodriguez276 no, unfortunealty not yet.....had a set back 6 months ago where i hurt it again. I've since found doing clam shells with bands around my knees helps strengthen and doing runners stretch. Slowly getting better. Ive also done 6 treatments of dry needling. Hurts, but works amazingly!
Hey I'm on month 5 with pain. Yesterday I got a mri and found out I have a slight left disc protrusion on my l5 how did u make your pain go away and how long for recovery
I've been watching your videos since the beginning of the year when my back started to hurt. 1st diagnostic was dégénérative discs of L4-L5 & L5-S1. After being pain free during the first 2 weeks of march this yr, back hurt again and this time the pain goes down from the buttocks till my legs & knee. Turns out I have herniated disk & a possibility of sciatica. Your videos been so helpful with your infos, advices & some exercices we can do. I still have to see my neuro surgeon in May but hope to be better by then. Thanks again for these very useful videos guys! 👍🏻
You're 30. I am too. You're young enough to where your body can repair and heal itself, don't give up, I've been trying yoga and stretches I find on here for a few days now and can feel a big difference. I refuse to give up cause I'm so stubborn and I definitely don't wanna be an old man riding a wheelchair to get around. Don't give up.
I have a cervical hernia at c6/7 from BJJ proper on the floor screaming agony pain down my right tricep shoulder numb fingers, fading away keep active as far as possible and stay positive!!! Don’t go rolling when out of pain, you are not healed, my consultant said it needs to resorb and scar takes some months but better that than never. Had an epidural nerve root block strongly recommend this. Get well guys feeling ya pain. Stay positive please 🙏!!!! You have options.
Strongly agree with this video-- I had some very intense sciatica this past fall, and #s 2,3,4,6,7 were all true for me. It took a bit more than two months, but I was able to recover almost 100%. Now I just have very occasional light pain. I don't think I could have done it without seeing a physical therapist in person, but your videos were very helpful also. Back pain can be so debilitating and I am thankful every day that I was able to recover from mine.
I would love to know what it's like to be completely pain free. I had back trauma 3 yrs ago. Had to give up exercising all together a yr ago because of the pain. Nothing helps it.
Queenie x I've been taking regular pain relief, and seeing my own physio once a week. Lately I've been performing some of the advanced exercises suggested by both Brad, Bob and my own physio to treat my resistant leg symptoms.
I cannot believe that i've been in agony for the last two weeks with what I came to think was a bulging disk, and I came across your videos, did your technique, and it immediately feels a million times better! I live in Indonesia so getting the back seen to would have been a long slow and frustrating process, what a relief, thank you guys
Thank God I got all the 7 yesses. I'm 19 years old and got an herniated disc from weighted pistol squats. Looking back at the stupid 17 year old me, it's easy to say what I should and should not have done, but I just wanted to look cool doing 30+ kg pistol squats without the bare minimum ankle mobility (had to do them with heel supports) and even less hamstring mobility (I couldn't keep the opposite leg straight). I'll start to read this book today, 23/12/2021, and do the exercises, while I update how my back feels.
This was really insightful! I have been recovering from back pain and decided I needed to rehydrate as I wasn't drinking nearly enough water. I noticed day 1 I started feeling worse. The information about the spine losing and then reabsorbing at night makes sense.
8 months so far, starting with severe (almost immobilizing) pain. It's slowly getting better and is now somewhat bearable, but I still have trouble putting on shoes sometimes. I can say yes to 6 out of 7 of these, so I feel hopeful. Thanks, guys!
thank you gentlemen , love the comical relief and the informative episodes you guys provide. again thank you and keep up the amazing work that you gentlemen provide . i salute you.
Thank you for this video! I currently have symptoms of a disc bulge and I meet this criteria for likely healing myself. Two years ago, I had a huge herniation and did not have 4 of these I could say yes to (the scariest thing was NO TIME WITHOUT PAIN! Literally 24/7 pain and had to drug myself to get any sleep--Gabapentin was my BFF!) so I now feel more confident in the decision I made at the time to have surgery. I'm watching more and more of your videos to incorporate more exercises to try to suck that bulge back in!
Bob and Brad have helped me sooooo much !!!!!!!!!!! The stretches they teach on the Mackenzie and teachings in general have totally relieved my back pain!!
and how did that affect you on the long run ? I am 24 and I had an MRI about three months ago only to discover that I have disc bulging. It really affected my mental health because I keep thinking about how it will affect my life in the next 10 years, 20 years, ...
In one video you said to try putting a bolster pillow behind your back when you sit. I've been doing that for a couple days and I actually feel activity in my lower back it's not painful it actually feels really good and I know that that's the key to healing. Since I have to sit so much every day, I'm thrilled that this is actively healing my sciatica! Almost pain-free after 72 hours and months of continuous aches and pains in my legs. Better advice than I got from the Orthopedics doctor I went to..
I have horrible pain. I’m waiting on approval from insurance for an MRI. I went to two neurosurgeons, the first looked at some xrays said my back was great no disk issues. Second one points out a couple tiny spots in my lumbar area. I have All the symptoms for DDD. I’m a yes on 7/7. 10 months of PT didn’t help. Watching this video makes me feel like I have a good chance of getting my life back soon. I will try these exercises while I’m waiting for testing to get done and reviewed. Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you , Bob and Brad, for these videos. They’ve been soooo helpful, especially since I’m unable to afford $40 copay for PT. You guys rock!🙏👍❣️
This video has convinced me that I am on the road to recovery. For I can lay on my stomach, and extend myself to the fullest point several of times. Furthermore the pain does hit me when I stand up after being seated. Plus the pain for the most part doesn't go below my knees, but for several of weeks it did. And when I walk back & fourth the pain hits me, but yet if I push through it the pain goes away(with me being able to walk pain free or almost pain free for several minutes). So like I said before I will be healed without surgery, and thanks to you guys I now know this.
Happy that I have all 7 good signs , Wish you all . we can overcome this pain 👍 ur videos so amazing for sciatica. Decompression by hanging from bar or doing shoulder dips helps a lot
airchairairflare I have all 7 signs, it’s been 3 days since initial pain, still quite tender in the morning and certain positions, stopped exercising, how are you
@@kieranbutler3323 I've noticed great improvement this week. Last 3 days I've walked more than 30 km ( 10 km each day ) almost without any discomfort. Sciatica is still present, but its minor, and after long walks or after prolonged sitting, and it dissapieres after lying on stomach. I try to walk 15 - 30 minutes a few times a day, then do some decompression with chair or with pull up bar, do 15 McKenzies and lie down on stomach. Rinse and repeat every 1.5 - 2 hours. I sleep on my stomach as well. Hopefully my back will heal in a few weeks, so that I don't wreck neck sleeping like this.
airchairairflare great to hear, when did you first feel pain? I was lifting in the gym and woke up with pain! What triggered your pain! Do you do any gym work
@@kieranbutler3323 This is how it happened for me as well. Too much deadlifts, and then in the middle of the night sorness turned to pain. Tried to stretch ql, hip flexors, gluteus, releases with ball...etc,initially for 2-3 weeks and it only aggravated it. After that stopped all stretching and focused on lying on stomach as much as possible, which decreased sciatica symptoms. After hour or so I stoud up and walked around in order to flush junk stuff in my lower back. Also avoided sitting as much as possible, and doing hip hindge instead of bending. It looks like it works. Keep in mind, I was able to do pull ups from day 1, but bending, standing, even lying down on my back hurted( and it still does ). I think this is 4th or 5th week since I changed rehab program, and Its so far with promising results. Edit: I don't do any gym work currently. Only controlled pull ups, and push ups once a week. I've read that combination of lying down ( for me on stomach ), standing and walking will heal you.
I guess I have spinal stenosis, cuz in the morning I TRY to get out of bed it's like a pain level 10 plus lower back and both legs... The only thing that's releives the pain is walking. Thank guys 😊 great job.
5 out of the 7 here. Currently suffering with a bad back which I believe to be a herniated disc as I was diagnosed with 2 herniated discs 5 years ago plus my body is leaning towards the left. I have been laid up resting for the last 4 days with little improvement and just found your videos and currently trying out some of your exercises. Hopefully I can fix myself this time through exercise and avoid another lengthy lay off from work. Keep up the good work.
Making use of it finally gets rid of the terrible feeling of sciatica pain and also the stress it gives on my back. Look for bit.ly/2DExRvj to know more about this back pain guide. Using this, one can sleep in different positions. Helps my hip pain and it`s relaxing.?
Many thanks, I've been looking for "which lumbar disc is related sciatic pain" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Sonictoria Stupefying Smasher - (do a search on google )? It is a great one off guide for discovering how to stopping your sciatica without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my neighbour got cool results with it.
I have all the opposite signs I have pain all the time, no pain while sitting but while standing less pain in the morning and worsen afterwards it's good while inactive and gets worse with motion pain is below the knee in the side of the calfs
I herniated my disc back in OCT 2021, rarely do I have back pain. But occasionally depending on position it can get aggravated… however almost daily, I have sciatica isolated to outside of ankle/lower calf. Worsens with pro longed standing or walking. However other postures seated or laying relieves it.
What do you mean here exactly when you say "heal"? Do you mean only alleviating pain or alleviating pain AND helping to repair the disc herniation to the point where the disc is back inside the vertebrae?
@@yahyael-sabban4903 after a week I could go back to my normal lifestyle however I still feel it just no excruciating pain. I'll continue doing these stretches and see if it'll fix these last kinks.
I personally have healed from sleeping correctly I was under the impression my sleeping patterns were only during a sciatic injury then I realized it is the way I have to sleep daily injury or not..this completely took my pain away before it was good days and bad days where my legs hurt really bad...so I was sleeping inconsistently only pain I'm still having is pain behind my left ankle near my heel but it's on and off....I heard it's also from the sciatic nerve. Thanks so much
I don't care as long as I can see what you're doing but I like when you explained it I like to hear what you're saying listen I want to know if my sciatica is ever going to go away I've had it for almost 4 months now when I do your exercises they really seemed to work but I want to know exactly what to do what exercises to do everyday to centralize the pain
I have to agree with your slogan, you guys are the best! Have had trouble with sciatica since I was 14. Now 33 and not being as active ( driving 3+h a day ) is killing me. I don’t care who thinks I look stupid swinging my legs outside my ute in between site visits. Great job guys! Edit, can you get someone to level the 2 cupboard doors to the left. HAHA!
I could not walk for 4 years cos of extreme pain and sciatica got to China by shear chance and learnt a whole new way of dealing with the back. It is not budging discs it is out of alignment spine caused by spasms dealing with these each day before bed and doing Tai Chai before bed not only helps fluid get back into discs but lubricates the sinews so in the morning you have resumed your length avoid sitting do as much strengthening exercise as possible earn how to improve groin strength that then supports lower back I also have an inversion table every few days I lay on this an hour and physically pull my self apart unlocking vertebrae. Walking up steep hilll is marvellous for sciatica and blood flow. Make sure when you sweat replace salts Thank you.
After watching your video, I tried hanging from a bar and then stretching my back from a position on my stomach. I also tried your nerve floss. I don't seem to have any more sciatic pain. Maybe it's temporary, but maybe not. I thank you so much!
I’ve done kickboxing since I was 9 I’m now 14. I’ve been out of training and any physical activity for almost a year. I was diagnosed with herniated disc L3 and L4.I have regular physical therapy. I’m trying to stay positive but it shouldn’t be taking this long
Thank you! This video gives me hope! I have been nervous and anxious about my situation for a while. I am 22 years old and have herniation at L4and5, I even considered surgery lol. But this gives me hope and I feel a lot better now.
I had a herniated disc before in 2014.. Its back again. It took 3 months to go away on its own the last time. I hope it goes away on its own again this time. Its been 30 days already.
@@cellkingsouthafrica3765 I feel great now. I had a 3 level laminectomy(s). On April 6th of this year. The surgery went great. 6 weeks after surgery I was ready to return to work. I was advised not to bend, twist, or lift. I didnt do anything like thst after surgery but I was bending down to pick up things thst I would drop like pens, papers, or meds. Eventually my back started to ache/hurt a good deal. I honestly thought I had messed up my back again. So I stopped bending and stayed in bed on my days off. The pain went away after about 2 weeks. Now I feel great and pain free. Mu neurosurgeon did a great job. I just need to be careful with my back. I think if it messes up again I probably need to have my vertebrae fused. If there isnt enough disk left. But I did learn that there are artificial discs that are being used now to fix/replace the real ones. I don't know how long those have been around but its good to know if they are an option.
WOW interesting video. I have ALL the opposite of the "good signs". -I Feel better bending forward -I Feel better when im sitting -I Feel agony when face down ( leg numbs and gets worse ) - Feels excruciating when I'm walking or standing all day long - Can't centralise my pain at all doing any of the conventional sciatica excersises. I wish i watched this video months ago. had i known these were bad signs 7 months ago i wouldn't have spent the last 7 months time in agony trying to heal with physical therapy while only getting worse and now loosing my mobilty. I have surgery in 2 weeks now and bed ridden.
Lyola Stritch School Of medicine and James Cox, DC, DACBR did a study of lumbar disc in the prone extension position, It raised the intradiscal pressure. Try the Williams Flexion exercises in the acute state till the leg pain centralizes.
Hi there Bob & Brad, Great videos guys. Between you two & a host of others I have learnt so much. I herniated my L5 S1 at the age of 20. I'm now 30 and have been working on it on & off for the past 7 years (at lot more in the past two years) I had a very bad flare up of sciatica in 2016 going all the way down the left leg into the foot. I have been relatively pain free since then, without ever having surgery. I still have a good range of motion. I still occasionally have pain in the low back and some residual pain in left leg. I just want to ask what your opinions are on the seated pelvic tilt and what would be your advice on how to keep the discs hydrated throughout the day? Many thanks Norfolk Enchance
Hi guys, i have a half spring and half memory foam mattress. Would i still be able to do these lying exercises effectively and going to try the pillow under my middle section.also can a heavy/thick duvet make the problem worse? keep up the great work thanks bob and brad👍
You just described my situation to a "t". I got better with some back strengthening exercises, stretching, and hanging from a pull-up bar (and just doing pull-ups).
What would it mean if my L5S1 herniated disk was causing excruciating pain for 5 months but now the pain has recieded but now I have numbness is it getting better or worse it's certainly nice to not have to deal with the pain but obviously something still going on rite?
Referring to your point about being taller in the morning. As an experiment, I once had mercury injected into my spine to help with back pain. It worked but as a side effect I was 7ft tall in hot weather and only 4ft tall when it was cold

After going through some serious pain due to 2 bulging discs, I can tell you the best sign you can heal your own issues is if when you wear a back brace the pain subsides. If that is the case, then your core is extremely weak. I obsessed with strengthening my core the last 6 months and my pain went from a 10 before I started, to a 1 or 2 on a bad day. A back brace is essential acting as your core. Core people, obsess over making it as strong as possible, and you can be pain free.
Zubair P what works best for me is doing some sit-ups on an ab mat. Those, and dead bugs. Hip mobility stretches help too. Look up the couch stretch. This should help.
Bee L the best thing you can do is strengthen your core. I would recommend dead bug exercises to start, and the progress with more advanced exercises. You can google advanced core exercises. But, I find doing sit-ups to be the most effective. Currently, I do about 250 sit-ups a day, but mix in other core movements like ab wheel roll outs, or dragonfly lifts. Work hard at it and it will get better. Hopefully this helps!
Sir is it true that people who have lost muscles have to bear the pain of compression of nerve even after the slip disk has repaired on getting jerk on disk?
My pain is just situated only around the lower lumbar. But it won't go away. Ive stopped heavy weights at the gym, I've used an inversion table, massage, rolling pins... It gives temporary relief since its pinched nerves mainly but still there is a popping sensation and clicking when I arch my back inwards. And also pain sometimes.
After trying to lift a large large rock into a wagon when I was 19 I pushed as far as I could and felt a pop or tear and could not bear the pain I knew I did something bad… until I was 32 just 9 months ago I was in agony in that spot I tore or popped and it was getting worse and worse. I was utterly disappointed about my back situation I thought I was destined for pain forever. some wonderful woman pushed that spot over with her thumb with good pressure she pushed over the spot away from my spine really pushed it over and it felt really good really helped me for about 2 months but but it wasn’t enough one jump from about 3 feet and the pain was back and this time even worse! something was on my nerve or something but I saw some light at the end of the tunnel I tried it myself I pushed with my thumb over to the left that spot that hurts me so bad in my lower back where I felt that pop or tear from lifting. I pressed and I pushed and I pushed it over with my thumb until my back was swollen and there was a big lump there I thought I had really screwed myself I was in real pain I had to do something anything… then I found a metal 3 inch diameter pipe about waist high and I laid my back using my whole body weight on that spot with some force I did that a few times the last time I took a few steps back and got a run at it flipped around and hit that spot dead on! I felt band heard a few large pops and got up… for the whole night that spot was pulsating and felt strange with a little pain. But the next day I did not feel that familiar feeling stabbing feeling at all! I swear to God on my life since then I’ve been pain-free not one problem and that’s been 9 months ago and I had pain since I was 19 thank the Lord I’m pain-free now whatever I did whatever I did I popped something back in or off of my nerve. The excruciating stabbing pain to where I could not even get up off a chair without sliding off of it sometimes or if I jumped out of a vehicle from even a couple feet sometimes it would hit that nerve that spot and I would literally have to lay on the ground for 20 minutes. But thank God somehow I’m pain-free I saved my back by crushing that spot. I got lucky I’ll take it easy on my back now please take it easy on yours
1. if you have a period in the day to feel no pain
2. generally worse with sitting and getting up from sitting (bending down worse, stretching up gets better > good sign)
3. if it is worse while bending forward doing something
4. worst in the morning but improves in about half an hour cause of disc imbibing with fluids during the night
5. worsens with inactivity, gets better with movement like walking
6. if pain stops above the knee
7. if generally you are better when laying on the stomach and on the elbows
If you have at least 4 of them its a good sign you can heal your own sciatica
Thanks for the check list.
Thank you
Pain don’t stop above the knee… in calves

For four long years I've been dealing with sciatica and I didn't know what it was. Until a few weeks ago. Because, of this I haven't been able to hold a real job. I think God for letting me find these videos!
We are glad you came across our videos:)
I’ve been crying from the pain. Had a severe panic attack right last night. This made me hopeful. Thank you 💖
Was in the same boat last month. It gets better. Stay strong.
Agreed. I was there too feeling much better now.
How are you doing? Did you end up going to therapy?

I am dealing with a herniated disc right now. It is located at S4 and S5. It is the worst pain ever. I have been active my entire life and yes it takes a mental toll.
Yes, it sure does. It's awful

I’m going through the same thing . Does anyone know what I can do for a disc herination

Did yours resolve?
I'm 23. I used to workout everyday, weight lifting etc. Now i gotta be careful when i move. So annoying. I feel you.

@@adamrosner7736 i am 25 and newly married. diagnosed with this 2 day ago. My life ends 😑
@@adamrosner7736 did you notice that you were fully healed after getting another mri screening ? Or do you just feel fully healed ?

This is the smartest group of physical therapists I have seen. These two explain real well.
This video literally saved my back and leg. God bless you guys. I started doing that floor stretch up stomache down, and instantly my leg started feeling relieved. These guys are amazing. I went from excruciating pain and numbness to some pain and numbness slowly residing. Just from that one exercise laying on stomach and pelvis down pushing arms up . Amazing

Walking does help sciatica but you have to persevere because you may feel stiff to begin with but it gets better.
Not for me. It's the opposite. VERY frustrating. I start off fine and then massive pain.
Yeah walking is the main trigger for me too.
You two are a blessing. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to post these.

How have you been recovering like what have you been doing to heal
8 months so far, starting with severe (almost immobilizing) pain. It's slowly getting better and is now somewhat bearable, but I still have trouble putting on shoes sometimes. I can say yes to 6 out of 7 of these, so I feel hopeful. Thanks, guys!

Thank you.

I don't feel any pain now at all
This video has convinced me that I am on the road to recovery.

But occasionally depending on position it can get aggravated… however almost daily, I have sciatica isolated to outside of ankle/lower calf. Worsens with pro longed standing or walking. However other postures seated or laying relieves it.

I feel great now.

Hi there Bob & Brad,
Great videos guys.

After going through some serious pain due to 2 bulging discs, I can tell you the best sign you can heal your own issues is if when you wear a back brace the pain subsides. If that is the case, then your core is extremely weak. I obsessed with strengthening my core the last 6 months and my pain went from a 10 before I started, to a 1 or 2 on a bad day. A back brace is essential acting as your core. Core people, obsess over making it as strong as possible, and you can be pain free.
Lany Burnett what exercise do you recommend ? If you don’t mind me asking I suffer from the same problem.
Zubair P what works best for me is doing some sit-ups on an ab mat. Those, and dead bugs. Hip mobility stretches help too. Look up the couch stretch. This should help.
This helped your pain??? I ordered me a back brace... I be in some serious pain. I don't want surgery... I need some pointers.. could you help me??
Bee L the best thing you can do is strengthen your core. I would recommend dead bug exercises to start, and the progress with more advanced exercises. You can google advanced core exercises. But, I find doing sit-ups to be the most effective. Currently, I do about 250 sit-ups a day, but mix in other core movements like ab wheel roll outs, or dragonfly lifts. Work hard at it and it will get better. Hopefully this helps!
I just found out I have a building disc at l5 slightly to the left I'm on 5 months of pain. What would u suggest I do to get better
And also pain sometimes.
i have the same. How is it now?
Thanks for such useful video, gives hope which essence of recovery,
