      @@ExocagedRC will this motor can be use on rock racer like bomber? I just want to try if the bomber can be a full-time crawling rig...

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  5 лет назад +1

      RC Noypi I don’t think it’s suitable for that style vehicle. It’s smaller than a 540 motor. For a bomber the ideal setup would be a castle Mamba X esc and your choice of motor in the 3000kv range. You can use the aux wire on the mamba x esc for crawler or race mode so you can do both with it. Holmes has a nice 3500kv motor that would run well in there.

      Exocaged RC I’m saying I would buy one , but for my budget it’s not practical in my current point in the hobby it’s better spent on a better servo esc or remote or kit, especially because I’m not rock crawling

    What is your review about to that Deep Wood tires?

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  5 лет назад +1

      I'm actually working on a video with these exact tires vs the KLR Gold compound, I'm pretty sure the foams were too hard in the KLR's as they weren't much better if any at all. I feel overall on these tires they are great for a light vehicle due to how rubbery the rubber is, kinda like a rubber band so it can move a lot.

      I noticed Louise tyres are the same parent company, but different writing on the side.
      I have a few sets and they all use the same rubber as the Deep Woods. I keep getting tears in them on the rocks though from being so thin and they're unvented so it's a pain when i want to go in water.

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  5 лет назад +1

      @@ExocagedRC They all appear to be close to the rim of the beadlock so i've changed them to a beadlock with a different design and added stiffer foams to see if that helps. I hope it does as they perform so good for the price

    Why is this motor so small

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  5 лет назад +1

      Gerardo Ortiz it’s a 400 size, still plenty of power for a moderately lightweight scaler.

    • @TheEgb18c
      @TheEgb18c 5 лет назад

      Exocaged RC is it less powerful than a 550?

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  5 лет назад

      Gerardo Ortiz perhaps yes, this is a strong motor but the armature is about half that of a 550 and that directly affects the torque. It is however build way better than a budget 550 so I’m sure it would hold its own.
