On the Off-Road, the cheapest package that will get you this camera system is $8,800, putting the truck at about $53,000...for just the internal combustion engine/no hybrid. Yikes
Honestly asking, the only views I care about would be the rear facing and the overhead view as I'm backing up. Do I really need to spend $8,800 for the cheapest package that includes the MTM just to get those 2 views? Another way to ask, what does the backup camera setup look like without the MTM or PVM?
Not hating on the new Tacoma, but I’m so glad I purchased the 2023 instead of waiting for the 2024. I like the outside but the interior seems more cramped and don’t forget that the rear seat storage is no more because it is occupied by the batteries, also I believe this has an 8 speed transmission which is fantastic.
@@AnhDonoi I agree. Backseat legroom for passengers is a consideration for me since from time to time I carry people. I’m 6 foot tall so I’m gonna have to see how much I’ll be able to move my seat forward for minimum comfort to accommodate a person sitting behind me.
Im guessing this particular trim with iforce max will be about 45k.
45-50
Same price as all of the other off roads.

I still love my 2023 capstone that truck is a beast, I must confess.
Thanks for your confession, but that has nothing to do with Tacomas
I disagree, taco and tundra is 2 leading pick up truck Toyota has in segment, so is an option either u go for tundra or u go for Tacoma. Thank u
@@mr.gregpaul603 the tundra is not an option if you’re looking for garageability

Any word on why the fuel door is different on the hybrid(no finger pull) vs. Non hybrid (with finger pull)?
I'm 6'4 are the Front seats more Roomy? The outgoing generation was a wee bit cramped for taller people.
My first question is will the white paint stay on it, or will it peel like 2 of mine did while Toyota still refuses to fix?
🤢
How’s the driver’s seating position, same as old or improved? That seems to be the point of contention for a lot of folks.
Seating position is good for the driver, at least for just sitting there and not actually driving. Backseat is pretty cramped.
@@ShiftingLanesthat’s disappointing on the rear seat space
