Part 2 of Day 3 in Paris. Let's explore those lesser known French heritage brands that don't get as much press but have outstanding quality. Come with me as I get a personal tour and history of Joseph Duclos, where I meet the Creative Director, Ramesh Nair and the CEO, Franck Dahan. Their bags are incredible and the staff was amazing. I also explore the designs of Faure le Page, Moynat and Moreau Paris.

The treatment in Joseph Duclos was so nice to see and the SA seemed wonderful. Love the FLP footage too. Their totes would always be a win for me because of the wider, adjustable straps. I thought the 35 would be much bigger than it looked so thanks for the mod shots too. Looking forward to seeing the unboxings.

I loved your Paris vlogs. I’m going to Paris in May and plan on going to all these stores. I’m really interested in the Diana bag. I love the Heritage leather. I was planning on going to Goyard but seeing the Moreau tote in all the pretty colors I think I’ve changed my mind. I was wondering if the material on the Moreau tote bag is similar to the Goyard Saint Louis tote

Oh the FLP footage! After hearing from Meredith and seeing the 35 vs 41 on you I’m so glad I didn’t get the 35 zip but the express 21 in pink is so pretty 😭
It was a lovely store and the SA was very helpful. Some very nice bags but not high on my list at the moment.
I love how you caught a glimpse of Ramesh Nair, Joseph Duclos’ Creative Director, inspecting the craftsmanship of a clutch, just before you zoomed in on the artisan saddle stitching and exotic leather bag.
I didn’t even notice that. Now I have to go back and rewatch it!

Thank you for this video! Your video is one of the best Joseph Duclos videos I've seen yet! I've been eyeing a Diane bag for a while now and it's just so hard to pull the trigger when I can't get myself to Paris anytime soon. Being able to see the bags through your lens was incredibly helpful!

The top handle Diane was a little heavy when I first picked it up but after holding it for a bit it felt fine. They are absolutely gorgeous bags. 💜

Wow!!!! What a treat to see the handbag construction process at Joseph Duclos. I would definitely consider the Diane messenger bag. Curious how heavy it is? Also, was there special script or writing on the metal that surrounds the bags? I have been wanting another Goyard tote and was thinking about the Artois, but I may consider a Moreau tote instead. Can’t wait to see what you purchased on your trip.
Yes the Diane messenger and the classic top handle have the inscription. I would not say it was abnormally heavy. Seemed like a normal weight to me. They were so incredibly kind and helpful at Joseph Duclos. I was obviously there at an ideal time to be able to meet the top people in the company. But that aside, everyone was amazing.

You can buy Moreau bags online. Some of the colors I think may be exclusive to in store only. And yes, the Joseph Duclos bags are stunning!! Definitely check them if you get to Paris!💜

I’ve never had the chance to see Duclos in person, but they’re very attractive bags! How did they feel? Love that she showed you that scratch! I also wasn’t super impressed with Moynat, but with their embossed leather 😢
It’s also so cool how well you were treated at Duclos! Were you tempted into anything?
The leather and stitching is amazing. Yes, I was debating between 2 messengers and one with the top handle. And stay tuned…my next vlog is when I got to attend the 24SS presentation for delvaux!

I loved your video! Question: do you feel like the Moreau at tropez gm is too big for an everyday bag? I was looking at the mm size but sometimes I need to carry bottles and a few diapers for my baby and I’m not sure if mm will be large enough. The GM dimensions sound big but in your picture it looks like a good size.
I think the MM would still work for what you’re looking for. The GM is definitely big when I’m just carrying my everyday items. It’s great when I’m doing returns but then after I’m done and I just have my normal stuff it’s pretty big. Hope that helps. 💜

I still have really old LV and Moynat trunk from my granpa (or great grandpa) in a good condition. but i will never use them. instead, i gonna use my cheap american tourister luggage

It’s nice. I’ve tried it on at Saks before. But I would recommend the Moreau Paris one. But if you really want that center stripe detail, then go for the Moynat
