Thanks, Dan! This was great, I love how you go over your strategy going into each workout and then summarize how the workout went and what you would have changed. Great video!
Love the incorporation of the GHD's! Wore my AlwaysTrain shirt the other day and people wanted to know where to get one! Hope some more orders come out of it!
Loved this workout Dan! I did it modified with 120 v sit-ups so I could match your roughly 6 minute time for the GHDs, then did the rest modified with 35lbs dumbbells. Loved it though, thanks for the video!
Hey Dan, weird question but on your Instagram meal posts, what do you put on your bread, what is the white condiment, cream cheese? Butter? And do you eat regular bread? Thank you very much. You are a big inspiration
16:14 "where I was finding my failure point was Shoulders to Overhead. My arms were just kinda exhausted" Dan Bailey, the man with horse legs for arms, his arms were exhausted. What hope do I have of doing this?!? 😬
@@OriginalDanBailey haha, thanks Dan! I'll probably give it the ole college try with 50s and see how I do. I was just impressed that was the part that got you smoked because you're built like a tank! Great content as always
Imo you're an underappreciated humble beast. If your slow twitch &/or frame was a a bit different your attitude, heart, discipline & work ethic would have yielded even superior results. No excuses though! Just want you to know that I see ya, even if some don't. Froning & Fraser have the complete mental & genetic package but I enjoy aeeing people like you, Fikowski & Bridges show that all body types & twitch balances can compete at a very high level if their mental game is right.
Just a question, does resting the DB’s on the shoulders/upper back turn the movement into DB back squats rather than front squats holding them in the front position?
how does doing doing so many GHDs potentially cause Rhabdo to someone untrained in them? Is it just too much work load that causes a breakdown of the core muscles? Never heard of this term before and now this is the second time in less than a weak that ive head of it.
Rhabdomyolysis - muscles break down under certain stresses and fibres pass into the blood stream. All kinds of things can cause this including crushing injuries and certain snake venoms. However in this context extreme and usually prolonged volumes or intensity of exercise.
Rhabdomyolysis is a painful and potentially dangerous condition in which muscle cells break down and release a substance into the blood that can lead to kidney failure. Athletes were more at risk if they forced themselves to go to muscle failure, which refers to exercising to the point where a muscle is unable to perform another repetition.
Ps Dan Bailey is literally THE babe of CF, RUclips, the world! MCM forever ❤
Hi Dan, I love your music! Do you have a playlist? Would like to train with this music! It’s epic!
WHO IS STILL LIFTING AND GRINDING THROUGH THE PANDEMIC, THUMBS UP👍💪
Best Intro ever, high quality cinematography, gets me pumped up every time!
I found out the hard way that you can't outtrain a bad diet. As soon as I started following the Agoge Diet, I have noticed amazing muscle growth.
Stfu man

Yes love this kinda of content full workout showing the grit through it all 💪🏼🔥.
Dan is one of my all-time favorite CF athletes...mostly because the dude looks like an IFBB bodybuilder, and he's short, like me! LOL

Love it Dan, your GHD pad has the same problem as mine...hates to sit on the bar like it i repeatedly tell it to.

That's what we like to hear!
Love being able to watch the full workout. And great cutting between cameras to keep it exciting!
All caps titles on RUclips remind me of reading social media posts from my grandma...

Looks good, must try that this week! Have you ever tested Turkish get-ups + rowing - combo?
What is the new GHDSU standard? (Plates/mats ok floor). Also, why this new standard?
Great video and excellent content, what camera do you use brother?
Gave this a shot today. God it was brutal lol.
Time for Danny Broflex to show his distant cousin Mullet Justin Medeiros how to beat Mat Fraser in 2021!
Does anyone know what the recommended RX weight for a lady would be? Thanks for any help in advance!

This one is gonna hurt so good.
YES

It's still front squat, because you hold your arms in the front rack position, I think
I actually like devil presses but GHD's not that much jejeje. This will hurt!!!
Great workout i love it keep it up champ
My lower back might break apart in the very first minute of the workout
