- Another popular one for ya'll today! HOW TO: Clean Your Dog's Ears. You'll want to use a cleanser with a drying agent plus something soft like a gauze or cotton ball to clean them. Look out for signs of an ear infection including: severe wax build up, redness, bad odor, tenderness, or bleeding. These will require special medication in addition to cleaning.

Thank you for showing this. I pretty much have been doing it like that but my dog is NOT that supportive of the help I am trying to provide her. It takes three of us to hold her even somewhat still.

Wha t about the dirt/debri & liquid that goes DOWN into the canal where I can't get to it to remove. I never get the answer. You did mention a "drying" ingredient though and I appreciate it. My dog's debri looks black and like dirt. But h e is basically a house pet. hmmmmm
Take him to the vet for a professional ear cleaning. That's what we have to do
I had a question about the color of my dogs ear wax because it was dark and that was not normal for my dog. So I googled it which I recommend you do the same because I just came away from there and they said that if your dogs earwax is black then it is due to ear mites. Whether or not your dog has that issue the Internet site was very interesting as it explains every color of earwax and what it might mean.
shes just making it worse imo you dont want the ear to be soaking wet and she just drowned the dogs ears basically
I've watched a LOT of videos about cleaning dogs ears and EVERY single one says DO NOT put a Q tip in your dogs ears...majority rules here
Many vets do not recommend directly putting pet ear cleaning liquid into the ear canal as well, while the majority of the videos display this. Regardless it should be common sense not to stick qtips into your pets ear.
She only used a Q-tip in 😢he outside crevice not in the ear canal.
She’s not saying to push a q tip into the canal, she’s saying to use it as a scoop for the crevice
My dog hates liquid in here ears
Most videos tell me not to put anything in the dogs ears, but I’m like, how am I supposed to get them clean if I can’t put anything in them?? Most videos I watch they just use a Q-tip on the outside of the ear when I know full well that my dog needs the inside cleaned because she keeps shaking her head and the outside is already clean. So thank you for this video.
my dog scared of sth close to his ear. I can clean it also used q-tips. when it comes to the liquid his getting aggressive .😔

Only use qtips for your outer ear
You can use them for the crevices as a scoop, that’s what she’s doing. It’s only the ear canal that you can’t use them for.
🙄you have to be mindful of how many drops you put. There is going to be a lot of poor dogs out there with new ear issues after watching this video 🙈
