I am in nz and in winters we make sure to use soft merino wool on skin as base layer and then wear the synthetics, synthetics directly on skin can affect the sensitive skin of children. Wool is slightly expensive but my children never like plastic clothing so I had no choice...it's only later that I discovered that energy frequencies from plastic clothing do affect ppl.
