My husband is a big introvert and legit said to me the other day, "next time everything shuts down like covid I want to do xyz" I said "NEXT time?! You're planning for that??"
“I miss Covid”. There’s nothing I can relate to more! People were so excited to see each other again I went “oh crap now I have to start thinking of excuses again”. 😂
Finally someone said it, hell yes introverts miss the COVID days. Walking empty streets especially at night and being legally required to stay away from people was a dream come true. Trying to talk to people with a mask on, however, was quite the nightmare.
I was in the movie theatre last weekend seeing Deadpool & Wolverine and got a bit of my drink go "down the wrong pipe" and coughed a few times (reflexively and reluctantly) then spent 10-15 minutes trying to suffer through an unbearable urge to cough the liquid out of my windpipe but not doing so, and instead just trying to clear my throat and swallow repeatedly during loud parts of the movie. Ended up thinking that if I started to suffocate onto something and not managing to breathe, they'd probably find me dead slumped on the chair never having waved for help, because I'd rather die than make myself the center of negative attention and ruin someone's movie viewing experience with my selfish suffocating.
Thinking of sending this video to my coworkers so they will get a clue about introversion, and no, I don't want to come drink in the conference room with ya'll every time somebody has a birthday or a holiday rolls around. I love you guys but please for the love of all that is holy, let me sit at my desk and work in peace. :)
At 54,believe it or not just realized I am an introvert, wish I knew this along time ago, thought I was the only person like this in this world.Im so happy that other folks think being in the mix is highly overrated.
The covid part is so true! Best thing ever. Cherry on top? My employer was forced to switch to WFH and it stayed that way post covid. I do not have to visit the office daily anymore. Just twice a month now. Hope that never changes lol. This transformed my life and made me a happier person.
Yeah I felt kinda guilty for thinking of how good covid time was for me. I mean when they said stay home and only leave if you absolutely have to. I had no problem with that because that's been my life for 29 years now. When I did have to leave the lack of traffic put a smile on my face every single time.
I loved lock down. Get up early, put my mask on go to grocery store when everybody stayed six feet away and didn’t try to talk to me, heaven. Go home feed my cat and dog. Put my pjs back on. Paint a little, crochet a little, work jigsaw and other puzzles. Watch a little tv, look it RUclips, and only time my doorbell rang was UPS. Absolute bliss. No one come to visit or ask me to visit them. If I wanted fast food everyone was in the drive through. I wanted to sleep until 11 am no one cared. I’m retired so I didn’t even have to work from home. Now I’m expected to leave my cozy cave and interact with people again. Bummer.
So happy to see so many comments. We need our own State where nobody ever leaves the houae (but delivery drivers of course, but they should get to work alone).
I trained my whole life for covid. Too bad I still had to go to work 5 days a week, but I got to hide behind a mask! Now I work from home and it is amazing!
I like to see an introvert doing something like this, totally out of his comfort zone. I do consider myself a mix of introversion and extroversion. I could be at home just on my own and I do not like too Crowded places, but, in other hand, I do like to talk with a bunch of people and to celebrate once in a while. I’ve heard to be like this is called ambivert
I’ve never before looked at the comments of one of these dry bar videos and seen ZERO comments but I guess that is very appropriate for a routine of introverts!😂
As an introvert in good standing, I approve of this message. Yes, Covid was the event I was perfectly prepared for and I enjoyed the lockdowns way too much. No looks of concern from my neighbors as to why I rarely leave my home. I was being socially responsible, a real trooper of the cause. As a germaphobe to boot, wearing a mask in public was right up my alley, keep your germs to yourself, is my motto. I already had the masks for the flue season the previous Oct. I was ready with hand wash as well.
Introvert that wants to become a hermit, but my daughter is very extroverted. She knows way more people than I do in my neighborhood. People know me as Morgan's mom
As a biological introvert living with extroverts I will attest that they didn’t have a clue about what to do while I on the other hand wrote 3 comic books ( they couldn’t go to the gym , they couldn’t party )
He is very funny. I am an introvert with an extroverted husband. This is going to sound bad, but my church, which I love, has so much you can sign up for. It is all social. I can't. Not after work which is very busy and social and nonstop busy where I have to be "on" with people and tiring physically, too. My husband is in a guys' bible study and mentioned maybe choir. I can't sing, thankfully. Lol. He can go. I am not. Thankfully no one will ask a terrible singer to join, so I won't be pressed to come to it. Lol
This guy is spot on! Almost like he is telling my life story, scary and funny. I loved Covid (not when I caught it). I loved my mask and people crossing the road because they were approaching me, and being polite when we did see someone across the road and waved an hello (I do like people) knowing there was no talking, in fact the fear of being stopped by police for being social... In fact I learnt to go shopping during covid, don’t go now!!
Yeah this guy hit the nail on the head. I completely agreed with his joke about missing the pandemic. I hated that so many died but man I miss being isolated lol😂😂
I have thought the exact same thing about Murder She Wrote. Also, I never could figure why someone who traveled all over the USA and abroad, bodies turning up everywhere she went, wouldn't be suspected of committing any of those murders.
Introverts unite!!...... separately online from our individual dwellings at our own discretion, at an agreed upon time and platform of course...🤔 😐 (Edit: Not on Facebook, Never saw a single episode of Game of Thrones either...Im totally fine with that and can relate.)
He jokes, but it's all true. My sister and I are different as the night and day. She's a social butterfly, and I keep to myself. Thankfully she understands me, but it can be irritating when she wants me to hang out more. I just worked 50 hours in a building with nearly 100 strangers this week. Please let me be for once. It's great to be with friends, but it's draining to me.
There are a lot of crazies out there! I found the lockdown quite delightful, unfortunately my hubby is an extrovert, so some interesting moments. 😂😂 There are more introverts out there than we realize. Thanks for the chuckle 🤭
I guess I must be more of an introvert than him, because I know most of the murders on Murder, She Wrote happened outside of Cabot Cove. Mrs. Fletcher was always traveling somewhere to visit some friend, family member, or something related to her novels. Everywhere she went there was a murder so it was Mrs. Fletcher that was the common denominator, not Cabot Cove. 😄
I know many extroverts hated it but as an introvert Covid didn't change my life at all. Being home and not going out was part of my normal life.
Introverts unite! Separately...at home.
My husband is a big introvert and legit said to me the other day, "next time everything shuts down like covid I want to do xyz" I said "NEXT time?! You're planning for that??"
Four introvert adults in one house for covid. We each stacked out our own section of the house and it was wonderful not dealing with the world.
That’s what my house looked like, too.
Sounds heavenly 😂
“I miss Covid”. There’s nothing I can relate to more! People were so excited to see each other again I went “oh crap now I have to start thinking of excuses again”. 😂
I'm home alone laughing along with this.
We all are 😂
The lockdowns were the best time of my life.
😊❤
Killed me with .. 'Introverts miss Covid'. YESSSSSS!!!! Burst out loud laughing. By myself at home of course.
Dr wrote "agoraphobic" on my chart because I said I was thriving during covid. No! Introverted!
He couldn't be more right, I DO miss covid just for how empty stores, buses and trains were
"We miss Covid." Truer words, brother... Had to pause the video to reflect on that era.
As someone who has a strong introvert streak, I can say this guy gets it.
Finally someone said it, hell yes introverts miss the COVID days. Walking empty streets especially at night and being legally required to stay away from people was a dream come true.
Trying to talk to people with a mask on, however, was quite the nightmare.
Introverts are not alway reclusive, but definitely need time alone EVERYDAY to recharge, the world seems to suck the life out of you
I was in the movie theatre last weekend seeing Deadpool & Wolverine and got a bit of my drink go "down the wrong pipe" and coughed a few times (reflexively and reluctantly) then spent 10-15 minutes trying to suffer through an unbearable urge to cough the liquid out of my windpipe but not doing so, and instead just trying to clear my throat and swallow repeatedly during loud parts of the movie. I have a tshirt that says:
Introverts Unite
Separately
In our own homes
As an introvert, I love his humor!
At 54,believe it or not just realized I am an introvert, wish I knew this along time ago, thought I was the only person like this in this world.Im so happy that other folks think being in the mix is highly overrated.
As an introvert, I enjoyed his comedy and quite alot to relate to. Very few comedians can talk without swearing words, so good on you Paul.
From a fellow introvert, you are speaking 💯 truth!
Finally a fellow introvert speaks the truth about covid. We nailed that time
The covid part is so true! Best thing ever.
Cherry on top? My employer was forced to switch to WFH and it stayed that way post covid. I do not have to visit the office daily anymore. Just twice a month now. Hope that never changes lol.
This transformed my life and made me a happier person.
The quietness of covid lockdown was heaven! 😂
Yeah I felt kinda guilty for thinking of how good covid time was for me. I mean when they said stay home and only leave if you absolutely have to. I had no problem with that because that's been my life for 29 years now. When I did have to leave the lack of traffic put a smile on my face every single time.
“I didn’t know that is an option”😅, I’m dying😅.
Setting aside the horrible loss of life, as an introvert, covid lock-down was absolute bliss! ☺️
He is not wrong about COVID 😂 being 6ft away from people and staying home more often, good times. 😁
As a proud introvert, he is definitely on point😊 I also love documentaries!!
When he said 'We miss Covid,' I felt that! Been keeping a mood chart for years now and 2020 was my best year by a longshot.
This guy is funny 🤣🤣🤣. On behalf of introverts, we are happy to make you our official representative to the world 🤭.
Never related to a comedian more! 😂
Introverted for life😂
I loved how quiet it got during lockdown. I didn't miss the planes or traffic. I do miss the birds now.
As an introvert, it felt like he was just talking about my life. I have to agree with everything he said, and I think I nodded more than I laughed.
I'm getting past my introversion. Now I look at your shoes when we have a conversation.
Dude nailed it. I rarely laugh out loud at TV, but this Dude made me chuckle pretty good.
My aloofness would be legendary, if only people knew me better.
Murder She Wrote is the introvert’s GoT. I think I’ve watched every episode of that show 😂
I’m an introvert that can talk your ear off and entertain a room if needed. But…….I’m usually home.
So happy to see so many comments. We need our own State where nobody ever leaves the houae (but delivery drivers of course, but they should get to work alone).
When I have to be around other people I prefer extroverts. They talk so I don't have to.
I trained my whole life for covid. Too bad I still had to go to work 5 days a week, but I got to hide behind a mask! Now I work from home and it is amazing!
I was quarantining way before covid. It had absolutely 0 effect on my mental or emotional state. 🙏
The Murder She Wrote bit had me rolling!!
😂 right. But he was absolutely correct. Them worthless cops ain't solved nuttin. A lil old lady had to do their work for em
Strong character and strong material. He delivered masterfully 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Introverts unite!
Seldomly, in small groups, under protest, and uncomfortably!
Do we have to
I like to see an introvert doing something like this, totally out of his comfort zone. I do consider myself a mix of introversion and extroversion. I could be at home just on my own and I do not like too Crowded places, but, in other hand, I do like to talk with a bunch of people and to celebrate once in a while. I’ve heard to be like this is called ambivert
Economically and societally, 2020 was a disaster.
Personally? Loved staying home.
Dr wrote "agoraphobic" on my chart because I said I liked staying home during covid! I'm NOT agoraphobic!
I just told my therapist today, that I miss using covid as an excuse. 😂
As an extreme introvert I approve his humour! 🙌
I’ve never before looked at the comments of one of these dry bar videos and seen ZERO comments but I guess that is very appropriate for a routine of introverts!😂
Being around other people is taxing and largely not worth it.
Similar to covid days: middle of the night driving in the city is pretty rad too. Always love the solitude above the crowds.
This guy was very real. Funny. Loved the true crime bit.
I'd already been buying groceries and stuff online before it so I really didn't notice much of a change to my lifestyle either.
No one ever understands why I say I miss Covid, but now I feel so seen and understood 🥹
He is very funny. I am an introvert with an extroverted husband. This is going to sound bad, but my church, which I love, has so much you can sign up for. It is all social. I can't. Totally agree w/the COVID atmosphere ~ I too was in paradise: home alone! Bliss :-)
"Murder, she wrote" I loved the series 😂
This guy is spot on! Almost like he is telling my life story, scary and funny.
I loved Covid (not when I caught it). I loved my mask and people crossing the road because they were approaching me, and being polite when we did see someone across the road and waved an hello (I do like people) knowing there was no talking, in fact the fear of being stopped by police for being social... Introverts UNITE❤😂
Oh my gosh dude hit it on the head👌🏾
i'm feeling brave enough to comment
Yeah this guy hit the nail on the head. I completely agreed with his joke about missing the pandemic. I hated that so many died but man I miss being isolated lol😂😂
Married to a true introvert...I have so much material!
It's true that during the pandemic, introverts, like myself, didn't have to offer excuses for lack of socializing!
When he said we miss Covid, I knew which camp I’m in.
I'm an introvert and EVERYTHING he says is true!😏
I long for a lock down 😕 those were the best days of my life
I already know i'm introverted l, but now i feel called out. I'm going home immediately. This was just too much. Lol
The normalization of grocery delivery/pickup totally changed my life
I have thought the exact same thing about Murder She Wrote. Also, I never could figure why someone who traveled all over the USA and abroad, bodies turning up everywhere she went, wouldn't be suspected of committing any of those murders.
100% Relatable and Accurate.
There was a Seinfeld skit where George tried to break up with a girl and she said no.
Good standup!
Funny! Goes to show that any personality can go for their dreams!
Covid was my time to shine!!!
The Murder She Wrote bit was hilarious!
I felt this to my core 😂
Introverts unite!!...... separately online from our individual dwellings at our own discretion, at an agreed upon time and platform of course...🤔 😐
(Edit: Not on Facebook, Never saw a single episode of Game of Thrones either...Im totally fine with that and can relate.)
Introvert here. Loved it
Relatable with a lot of truths amongst the humor...enjoyed the set.
Spot on. Thank you for the laughs that I enjoyed from my home. 😊
There are a lot of crazies out there! I found the lockdown quite delightful, unfortunately my hubby is an extrovert, so some interesting moments. 😂😂 There are more introverts out there than we realize. Thanks for the chuckle 🤭
So true. For me it was a great time of rest, my bf knows no stranger 😂
As a introvert. He spot on lol
I love his bit on Murder She Wrote 😂
Love this guy. I like his take on things.
Yay introverts!
Shhh you got extrovert energy
Has he been watching me live my boring, introverted life ? 😂😂😂😂
Thanks
1:31 Yes we do. 😂❤
I type from my bed cave...
😂😂😂 So relatable!
And I miss Covid too.
Introverts UNITE! Alone, in your own homes. Author of quote inknown.
I miss covid too! I had a perfectly reasonable reason to not leave my apartment and say no to invites, it was so good while it lasted.
Prison joke was too funny😅he needs better friends😂
I love the Murder She Wrote joke. It's always hilarious 😂 how much drama takes place in the small towns... sleepy 😴, picturesque, welcoming. 😅
Yep. Spitting out all sorts of introvert truth there!
I like this guy
I guess I must be more of an introvert than him, because I know most of the murders on Murder, She Wrote happened outside of Cabot Cove.
