Your doing fantastic with the truck, I'll be interested to see how the motor 1200 kv does, I'm not sure which one to get. Keep it going bro good job.🙏✝️☮️have you found a fix for the doors and hood popping open
Right on, appreciate it. The 1200 feels like stock setup on 2s. I'd suggest 1800 if you want more wheel speed similar to 3s. The door and hood lock in place on this model, used magnet on the mashigan.
I like my trucks to run just a little faster on 2s than I can walk. The 1200 worked well in my Jimny, but it has larger wheels/tires. To keep using my 2s batteries in the FJ40 I had to upgrade to the1800 system. Now it will outrun me at full throttle 😁
@@Der_Alte_Fritz cool thanks for the info appreciate it. I think I'm definitely going 1800. With the size of the Fj40 being clocer to 1/7 scale heavy wheels and tires plus over all large body and chassis it's a safer bet to go 1800kv. I'll check out your channel soon, 🙏✝️☮️

Nice, my 1800kv SE just arrived today & I'm about to fit it into my RGT Rescuer.! Subbed & liked & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍
I'll be watching it.!! 👍 👍 👍 Scotland is pretty wet right now, but Scotland is ALWAYS wet.! I believe we have a sunny day scheduled for sometime this summer.! 😉 😉 😂 😂 Btw, is there any chance you could tell us how many teeth the pinion you fit has & show us how fast it goes please.? I mainly do trail driving & I really like my rigs to have a little bit of speed, nothing crazy, 15 to 20 mph is great. That's why I only really buy RCs with a 2 speed gearbox fitted. I'm also not a fan of having locked axles because of the way the negatively affect the handling & turning circle. I have 7 crawler/trail trucks & they all have 2 speeds & remote locking diffs except my Hobao DC1 & my Element Gatekeeper. I barely drive those two, but I drive my Yikong Jeep & 1/8 Bronco, Traction Hobby Cragsman, RGT Rescuer etc a lot.! Btw, they are fantastic RCs & I can't recommend them enough.. My Yikong is almost 3 years old & it's taken a real heavy beating.. It's still 90% original.!! I got the RGT Rescuer a couple of months ago & it's really impressed me so far, after fitting the Fusion SE it's taken it to another level.! It feels like magic.!! I REALLY like the look of the FMS FJ-40 & if it's not too slow I might break my own rules & biy a single speed, locked diff RC.! ..... ..... ...... ..... Please forgive my mega long comment, I tend to get carried away when I'm talking about RCs, I'm sure you can relate.! 😉 😉 😂 😂 Please stay safe out there mate & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍 👍
@@alantaylor353Really appreciate the comment all good info. Agree locked diffs make for harder trail driving. Fusion se 1200kv is like stock 35t on 2s & 1800kv feels like stock 35t on 3s could be wrong. The stock motor has 48 pitch 14 tooth pinion gear. Final drive ratio is 49:1 linked below is the best video that breaks down all info at timestamp 10:18 I believe:ruclips.net/video/glYDz-okaiU/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Vanquish is the best hands down, however this was built before they released any rtr. Great products just out of my price range. Rather take a nice looking rig with crappy drivetrain and mod it vs buying something that is performance oriented. Thanks for the comment, just did ar60 axles on another rig with hyrax tires. Looks cooler than any ripper imho, cheaper too.
Very Cool Upgrades my Friend!

Thank you, will be doing 1800 kv on mashigan next similar mods also. Take care.

😮😮 what size figure is inside??
Winners circle 9" figure from eBay. Some listing say 12" careful when looking.
