    Thanks for the Video and all the Info! What I would like to know, that you didn't address in the Video is how you dealt with the Steering Links. The Leaf Springs and mount on top of the Axle is really messing everything up. I'm not really sure about how I'm going to get this to work. Thanks!

      I added a 10mm spacer between the servo horn and the link to lower it down and get the geometry closer.

    Hey Jeremy, I just finished watching RAD RCs live Q&A from a few weeks ago, which led me to your channel. Which, by the way, is very cool. Thanks for sharing.
    I wish I would have known about Operation 11 Charlie a few days ago. I'm a huge FJ40 fan, picking up my 1st one back in late 80s while stationed in Little Creek, VA. Being a FJ fan I've been collecting related items for yrs. (one being the RC4WD rig). Im now just getting into scalers, but I've been into RCs since my Grasshopper, Blackfoot days. (Yes I'm old. Lol)
    Anyway when I saw the FMS release i purchase one ( from FMS site) in Mustard Yellow. When I received it and saw the quality I turned around a got the Sky Blue model, which is the color of my '77. I just really wish I knew about 11C as to purchase thru the link to have a percent go toward the cause. Needless to say when I order my parts for my builds, I'll be sure to use the links. I have to read up on the organization and the good it's doing for our brothers and sisters.
    Again thanks, I really enjoy the channel. Mike(NY)

    Now we can hear it all. Thank you for sharing. Where did you get the shocks? The spring lifts, if you added another lift would it lift the body more for bigger tires, like 2.2? Would it affect the other components, like the drive shaft, I’m assuming it’s adjustable, no…? Thanks aging!

    • @ateaserc
      @ateaserc  Год назад

      The leaf spring kits are directly from FMS and there is a link to them in the description of the video. 2.2 sized wheels can be fit but it is additional stress on driveline components.

    I have an actual FJ45, 1978, very similar truck it’s just that mine is a pick up. I’ll be getting the 1:12 scale of the FJ45 FMS has and upgrade it as you did this one. I’d love to upgrade both trucks. Lift them up a little more with these lift spring sets and perhaps a little bit bigger tires, like 2.2 from my Traxxas sport high lift truck. What do you think, any suggestions? Thanks!

    Got mine with non functional radio, missing parts and boy is customer service terrible. They want me to prove a negative that the thing does not work, now they are ignoring me and I still have no idea where or when I will see my front and back leaf springs. They have or maybe just pretend to have a phone help, but after a while you realize nobody is ever going to answer. Hope you have all had a better experience. Still have not been able to run it yet.

    • @ateaserc
      @ateaserc  11 месяцев назад

      @@tonton_cloude2093 the stock shocks do not hold oil. I put a set of inexpensive 90mm shocks on that do hold oil so the truck isn’t bouncy. The shocks also prevent the over extension of the leafs to keep them from getting bent up easily.
