Awesome video dude. RC4WD often get a bit of stick for quality and performance, but lets not gloss over the fact that they make some incredible looking trucks, that can actually drive pretty scale even if they don't perform quite like a Lexan Bodied, plastic 'main stream' truck... I'm currently building a replica of my Hilux with a TF2.. and there's nothing else out there that will look as good and still perform like the real thing.
Aw thanks dude!! Crawlers aren't for everyone and it's an acquired taste. Tough to make crawler vids exciting 😅👍 Glad you like though and totally appreciate the support bro. Which one did you get?
@linerc I grabbed an FTX Outback GEO as it seemed the best bang for the buck in my budget ( Also loved the shell ) and I am having an absolute blast with it.
You gave a one heck of a ride. My Blue Chevy K10 Scottsdale so have to replace driveshafts, loss a Scottsdale badge on the passenger side, lost tailgate handle, shocks came apart, lost a screw for the servo, and broke a the plastic body mount. After all that it still drives like a champ. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
@disciplinerc lmao I didn't expect this! 😂 it was great, buddy. I love me some creek driving also. It is definitely a great scale rig, plus I mean, come on, it's a CHEVY BABY! Good stuff bro 👊
I dont even care that its that bouncy ( ahem..like the real deal 😂) I could just imagine having this one bonestock for fun and another to massively mod for crawling great vid my guy
We need to do something about this timeline. That is a beauty. Great looking little rig. And as always the highest of qualities of filming editing and storytelling. Bravo again.
You have the most entertaining crawler videos because you always walk that line of being rough with them without veering into complete abuse. That’s what I was hoping for with this one and you did not disappoint!
Aw shucks dude 😊 Thanks for saying that. Ive tried hard to hit that middle ground. Crawling videos are tough to make. Hitting cool lines isn't for everyone, and can tend to turn most people off the vid. Round 2 of this truck may get a little spicy 🤫
I'm from Tennessee and for a guy in Canada you knocked it outta the park I'm a big fan and a RC enthusiast myself well....Bout 4 years now love your videos keep it up!!!!!! God Bless and Thank you!!!
scale perfection for sure... ive never owned a crawler but im now looking into 1 to join my friends in some fun... i did get a scx24 recently cant wait to start messing with it
Yeah it's a different pace for sure, it's about making it capable and enjoying the slow lines. It's not for everyone, but sometimes slowing down out in nature is just what the doctor ordered 👍
Beautiful scale truck! Shame about the rear bumper falling off, but I've seen my fair share of square bodies without bumpers over the years, so it just adds to the realism. Just bolt a "log" to the back and it'll be good to go. Thanks for the show!
Your're absolutely right about this RC4wd Truck Aarron! its a beauty as right! Would be in their (Rc4WD) best interests to do a late 70's Ford F100 and early 80's power wagon in my opinion. great job on this brother!
Hear me out. What if and this is a big what if. What if you could get a bed camper for it. How cool would that be? You could get Wolverine and Rogue riding up front. Yeah, that might be fun. Just a thought.
A good friend of mine is talking to me about this RC while wearing a raincoat. I'm pretty drunk, so I'm not sure if I'm understanding everything, but he seems so excited.
I have a LWB TF2 with Toyota body and it's my favourite RC. I cherish it so much. I'm happy you like yours as well. I hope the next TF iteration gets all the good legacy parts from TF2, unlike the horrible TF3 with its sloppy steering. I'm liking how for Scottsdale RC4Wd went with the correct front shackle location, and reverse mode for the Toyota Xtracab...I'm really enjoying that RC4WD is listening to the comments.
That is one sick looking K10. The details are amazing, but for the price, i could get something bigger and more fun to drive. I also find it ironic that they chose now to re-release this K10, when they know the FMS is about to release their first 1/10 Chevy K10. Im going to wait for the FCX10 to come out before i purchase my first 10th scale crawler. Im willing to sacrifice a little bit of the scale looks, for a better price and performance. I can always scale a car out and make it look the part. You should see what i did with my Rochobby Fire Horse. It looks 👌.
It is on the higher side I agree, I spose it's all in what you want in the hobby. It's tough, I look at the HB 1001 Beluga for less than 1/3 for example. Cheap, capable the list goes on and I love it. This doesn't tick those boxes, but ticks others. I guess the best way to say it is there's always someone for someone with this hobby and that's another reason it's so great 👍😃....I need more coffee ☕
Haha yep! This thing def has great low speed control. Sadly that doesn't translate into exciting clips on the RUclips. To you and I, they are epic, but make the average view click away. 😅

Hey, mate! Wonderful truck! But, believe me, the drive shafts are plastic-junk… Same in the RC4WD Gelande II FJ40 … In a minute the‘re dead… JunFuc Hardened Steel Shafts are MUTCH better… my opinion…
Work has been kicking my butt. Have 3vids in progress. Should have this one out this weekend, only have one good day of weather tomorrow so wish me luck 🤞😅
No doubt it’s a good looking vehicle, but why do the big brand RC companies think their vehicles are worth their weight in gold? Sorry RC4WD absolutely pathetic price for what you’re offering! For that price it better have all around functional LED’s, Winch, Full Interior, opening doors and rear gate, and sound! So sad, I can’t support your company. Your production cost are not that expensive!!! Just greed!
molds alone are worth about $40k and making the doors open would need a new 40k mold on top of designer fees, shipping, production, packaging, and shipping again. Even a lexan body mold is in the $20k area so which production costs are you talking about aren't that much?
Awesome video dude. RC4WD often get a bit of stick for quality and performance, but lets not gloss over the fact that they make some incredible looking trucks, that can actually drive pretty scale even if they don't perform quite like a Lexan Bodied, plastic 'main stream' truck...

@@CSmithyPx Sweet!! The FTX Outback line is really good. We don't have the FTX brand here in Canada, but watching Phil's vids on them has me sold 👍

Yeah that would be very cool 😎

Wow. They even made the transmission look like a bell housing. I'd say the quality is on par with my unicorn crawler. D1RC Camel Trophy Defender.
That D1RC is a beast!!
