@@TwistedFireX I totally agree, people now forgive Valve and forget these 7-8 years of bot infested hell just because they did the bare minimum. The F2Ps are still muted, there are still probably closet cheaters in the game.
The only reason Valve even muted the f2p players is because the bots started joining matches and just spamming the n-word and it got some game journalists to write articles about Valve being complacent with racism. That really lit a fire under their ass and actually got them to do something. If you really wanna solve the bot crisis you gotta change the rules, pivot to complaining that the bots are racist/transphobic and affecting PoC players the most and Valve will do nothing to help because gabe's inaction mean that hes probably in the klan and supports the bots. The only thing big game companies fear is bad publicity and getting cancelled by the focused waves of the internet hate machine, you gotta use that to your advantage somehow.
this is so much copium. you think that they care when every other voice chat has a 12 year old saying the n word? lol. they clearly just did a half assed attempt at dealing with spam rather than the actual bots. emphasis on half assed. if they mentioned racists insults in chat at some point, i promise you it's at best anecdotal in their decission making. and if anything, the voice chat is the easiest to clip and share. but proving that those sniper bots are targetting poc? come on....plus, you yourself know it's a lie, why be the bigger asshole and invent an issue up to tokenize poc? if you genuinly care, be more creative and involved than that, you know that was just a copium comment at best
That was not even the first time Valve took the easiest approach which ironically ended up doing more harm than good without fixing the issue: Remember when somebody made a wallhack mod (not a cheat program, a mod) and Valve solution was to disable all visual mods outside community servers ? Funke made a vid about it too back in the day.
A lot of the new maps are bad, but i'd still prefer that over hats and taunts. You still get some gems like Phoenix. Would be good if they put all of them into some sort of "nu-map" category. Oh and they could also re-add rd_asteroid and pl_cactuscanyon into the rotation. Because what reason is there not to? Obviously not saving space.
You're totally right. You aren't allowed to have any skill as a f2p anymore (especially as sniper) lest you get vote kicked for hacking, it's not like you can defend yourself from accusations in chat. No new player wants to put up with this, eventually the fresh blood is going to dry up and TF2 will rely on a dwindling pool of veteran players to keep it afloat (which will only make it more unwelcoming to newbies). Sad to see one of the most important parts of gaming, no, internet culture in general slowly die because of mismanagement. Valve obviously takes most of the blame but it shouldn't be forgotten that many big TF2 youtubers were begging for skill based matchmaking before MYM. The saddest part is that MYM didn't just ruin matchmaking and custom servers, it led to many fun items like the caber being nerfed in service of Valve's competitive-first philosophy. TF2 is just a way less fun/unique game than it used to be and it's very frustrating to see it turn out this way.
Community server chat is so accurate, being in the oceanic region there’s scant few community servers in general and absolutely 0 community servers for the vanilla game it’s all 24hr Hightower/2fort (kill me) or afk “trade” servers
Yeah playing in Australia is becoming damn-near impossible lately. I stopped playing for about 2 weeks, and when I came back TF2 was almost completely unplayable (like, genuinely for the first time ever for me because there's always at-least one random casual you can join that would be fine; but not in this case) and the playercounts are just now dipping to early 2020 levels. I was only able to play from some Aus hightower server that, I kid you not, was the only server I could join at the time with players.
omg i hate the infinite hightower mfs lol. i just want to play the game. and community servers are neither vanilla nor a pleasure to be in, not to mention, not populated at all unless you are in the precise time and area, so fuck everyone else around the world i guess lol. but no guys, you don't understand how perfect uncletopia is /s.
I recently got my younger stepbrother into TF2, he absolutely loves it. But he is restricted to playing against bots in Offline Practice mode because I genuinely couldn't recommend any community servers or Casual to him, knowing what goes on with this game. If TF2 still had Quickplay, he would at least be able to play the regular game against actual players. He would get destroyed, but at least he would be able to play against real people.
casual is perfectly fine, or at least it has been for some months now....let him play casual, it's been like 300 hours since the "fix" and i counted zero bots. zip, zero, nada. unless you meant the other issues with the vote system? just get him a key, come on, it's your brother and it's only two dolars. and disable voice chat by default if you are concerned about insults maybe? (though the voice chat issues in regards to insults apply to any online game with comms). then he'll be able to vote for himself (and get some hats with that refined).
I'm so sorry for anyone who has never played this game until now in its current state. This was THE best multiplayer game to play in the early 2010's, and now it's been reduced to this pathetic mess we see today. All because of the utter retardation from Valve's worthless TF2 team and their infinite greed. I knew before finding your channel that current day TF2 was terrible, but all of your videos as of lately helped me to understand why. You also helped to solidify my hatred for Valve more than ever with this video.
Valve created voter disenfranchisement and people cheered I also still have a person on my friends list who gave me a cloak and dagger back in 2012 when I started playing cause it was a real nice gesture that really stuck with me. Good times.
Me and my younger cousin play this game all the time but almost every map we join is bots and this could be easily fixed by this multibillion dollar company
I have a friend who used to host bots (not a large ammount, only 4) and we found out one day when I paid him a visit how VAC works 100%. I don't know what prompted this, but we looked up all of his boat accounts and they were suprisingly, VAC banned! only a few months after he stopped running them. More interesting though is that his account that he was a blantant cheater on and that was older than all of his bots wasn't banned. Why was that the case? I'll tell you what I think happened. It couldn't be an AI because 1). Why would have taken so long for an CSGO overwatch style AI to ban a blantantly cheating bot account that was active for at least two years? 2) If it was an AI, Why are there so many premium bot accounts when it should just ban them instantly? And 3) Why would it only ban him when he wasn't active for months? So in light of that information, the only logical concusion I could come to was that it was a manual ban. It most likely was one guy at Valve scrolling through a massive list of reported accounts and checking to see if the profile was barren enough and had a comparitively large ammount of sniper playtime to be able to confidently assume it was a bot. There are however some programs (like cheat engine) that will give you a VAC ban automatically if you use them in a server. This is (most likely) achived by having some list of naughty programs in Valve's servers somewhere that checks whatever you are running and compares it to that. Unfortunately for them, TF2 cheats are either downloaded with a unique program hash, or in the case of cathook (the cheat the bots use) you download the source code and build it yourself, bypassing it completely. In concusion, VAC is: Eric Smith and a text file. Oh, and this is how I found out that F2P votes are worthless. He fixed a "bug" with his party of bots not being able to kick by upgrading them all to premium.
When it comes to situations, i really wonder what was crossing their mind when they were thinking about a solution like this. I also have a lil theory that even if savetf2 made it out there and triggered valve to the point where they actually fix the bots, but one thing they won't revert is the F2P mute. Thats the thing i been thinking about lately. Anyway, great video.A nicely done job of explaining this chaos. Have a great day!
Obviously, they won't revert it. It brings them money. By muting f2p they bring money to call for medic. So yeah. They probably won't do anything about it.
I've been playing since 2020, and what has become of this game pisses me off to no end. I might end up offloading my backpack if nothing is done about this. Fuck Valve.
Honestly the theory that its about money makes Valve seem more competent than they acttually are. Im willing to bet that Eric Smith just forgot that they implemented this at this point.
i really cant imagine playing tf2 as a new player today if someone recommended me this game and i queued into 5 different bot games i would've just laughed at the person who recommended me it. even as a paid player for years i can't stand these servers so i know a lot of f2ps have probably just not bothered playing the game lol. my only hope is skaia which actually started hosting normal casual servers, we need more of those and less 24/7 2fort matches. i hope in the future we get an actual good game inspired by tf2 so no one has to get a shit about valve. i'm not sure how likely that is to happen though because i think they're noticing how easy they are to replace as a game company now so they're getting more stingy with people who make mods of their games (funny for a company who came from modding).
oh, the kick vote system is cancer lol, and honestly? even if f2p votes counted, i assure you, those australium mfs would try and vote them out regardless (and probably succeed, because the game has a LOT of people like that, and then, some players just vote yes out of pure impulse, they don't even know what's about lol). Look, the mere fact that f2p is used as the universal insult in tf2 should tell you something, is not even that you are bad or a noob, just that you didn't gamble your life away on loot crates lol. (and yes, i know that you can just buy a key and upgraded, but i'm making a point here)
I don't even know if Valve cares about TF2's income. The more recent Valve always goes nuclear, either lazyness or lack of competence. If they do dislike earning less from TF2 then they will do something. But I fear that they just don't really care and just turn off the lights. And yet, maybe a reaction is worth more than relying on the whales for the status quo bias we might have gotten used to, with the slight sliver of hope that heavy might be reworked or something.
i mean, tf2 does bring a lot of money, but it's, as a whole, not a huge chunk of valve's revenue as a company. i'm not saying that they don't care about the money it makes, but that it mostly is a passive corner of income for them. if it stopped tomorrow, it wouldn't be great, but they'll be over it the next day, literally
This is why I buy tickets and stuff from third parties or trades, so VALVe doesn't get my cash money no more. You can probably crawl up the grease pipeline and say "well someone else spent money to put that item on the market muhh" but when an item goes third party and I buy it somewhere else or trade something for it, it puts a tiny little petty dent on their cash flow that I feel smug about.
no, no it doesn't put a dent.......i'm sorry...you are only feeding the game as a whole. not that i care that you stop lol, i love tf2 and i'm not as much of a doomer as some people here. but, just saying, so long as you buy, some other person or bot is definitely giving valve money at the start of the transaction chain. and you are only generating more demand, so, feeling smug about it is only a little cringey, but i get it
I have played a few matches about a week ago but before then I hadn't touched the game in ages, like a year or two... I was a f2p before the great silencing™ and I was a med main ... I couldn't ask a heavy for a sandwich, tell the soldier I was running kritz, heavy the vaccinator does do something stop being a coward and push, I couldn't vote against bots, the big three voice commands was medic! , go go go and thanks... it made things so much harder for me to just do my job when compared to a random spy player or sniper, and one of the worst feelings was when you get a vote called on you and you couldn't defend yourself, I know that since it happened to me. I eventually spent money on the game so I could speak and it was a massive change.
Man they should just remove casual and add a vanilla filter for community servers at this point, would be better than the current shithole. The community updating sourcemod anticheat does the rest. Then again, just add quickplay back
I bought premium upgrade for an f2p and he had the same problem. You need to have premium upgrade AND spend at least 5$ on your steam account before you can talk in game. It’s stupid and I hate it.
@@tobsmonster2 if the op didn't mistype what they actually bought, the valve pack includes every valve game on steam, it's around 70 dolars lol, so their steam account is definitely verified. BUT, buying the valve pack doesn't give you premium on tf2, i hope the op didn't do it just for that, because it's definitely wrong info. he could have just bought a mann co key, and any cheap game on the summer sale, and that would have been enough. He wouldn't be the first person to make this mistake, there's others throughout the years asking the same on reddit sporadically. But tf2 is free, buying valve's pack doesn't do anything in regards to upgrading your tf2 account.
7:17 Every time i hear about play on "community servers" i swear i will lose it. tf2 used to have like over 4k community servers back in 2015. and you could easily join even the least played maps, hydro was playable and dead game modes like arena were still a thing. honestly, we need the 2014 Quickplay that let you join Vanilla tf2 community servers. now a days, we got bad community competitive (uncletopia) skial servers with bots players and fake ping. or dead servers, many many dead servers.
Isn't it funny how the 2D "De-make" of TF2, Gang Garrison 2, is a more stable and accurate representation of the real game nowadays than the hollow corpse of the original? People might as well play that if they want the vanilla experience in the modern day.
@@adambarnes2738 just play tf2? no? there's lobbies for every map, not like this guy says.....in fact, i know me and many believe the list of maps aviable for casual is way too big for it's own good lol. but it's very much alive and thriving. and for me, it's been something like 300 hours without a single bot since the fix, not a single one. stop it with the doomer attitude
13:39 I honestly think the theory of Valve make it worse for f2p to make an extra 5 bucks to be illogical. because i am pretty sure one whale unboxing spree after an update would pay for over 1000 f2p accounts (i am super underestimating how much Valve make after they release new lootbox). I would have believed you that it was a malicious act by Valve if buying premium was the main source of revenue tf2 make. but no, loot boxes is what make money for tf2. Don't confuse malicious intent for incompetence and lacking a will to do their job. Valve is super lazy. Valve is about the least amount of effort with the most return. and i don't know man but i am sure what CS2 make in an hour after an update is more than what tf2 make in the whole year. Valve got the resources, THEY CAN FIX IT. they just unwilling. the only reason why tf2 is still a thing because it's bad for PR if anything happened to tf2. that why they muted the f2p. it was bad PR when news outlets and people who outside sphere/echo chamber got news of bot saying bad BAD words. And i don't know about you but a PR damage to Valve is worse than any boycott. Valve got the money to outlive all of us but they can't just buy PR if they lose their good guy image. This why save tf2 should be reoccuring thing and not just "we did it patrick. we saved the city". keep the pressure on Valve and never shut up. Small criticism toward you. I appreciate you speaking from the heart here. but you gotta sometime disconnect to see things from outside. people get too caught up in outdated facts and believes they have. they end up not realizing the tide is moving. this opinion/point of the video is example of that. ask for second opinion and try to verify your facts. that being said. i don't say you are lying here, i do think parts of Valve did sabotage and deemed tf2 unprofitable (even if that true compared to dota 2 cs2 and steam) i don't think Valve need that 5$ from f2p when someone can unbox 20 loot boxs after an update.
yeah, you said it very clearly, i appreciate his rant but it gave a bit of a tunnel vision vibe due to the frustration. but what you are saying is absolutely correct. Things really aren't as bad, and we got a bot ban wave, now it would be lovely to make it a recurring thing and we should pressure for it. the casual servers are working great at the moment, and it's awesome to see, i've been playing a lot. And tf2, monetarily, would mean a lot to a different, smaller company, but not to valve, if it were to go down, they aren't losing actually meaningful capital, for the time being it's like a nice bonus for them without having to commit too many resources but that's it, is not tf2 that keeps the lights on at valve, and much less so due to any margins made because of f2ps upgrading their accounts. in most games, f2ps or epople who casually play and invest moderately, are the life blood in terms of poopulation and player pools, but not in terms of money, whales do the talking money wise. But the PR, yeah, absolutely, tf2 is as iconic as it gets, so it's definitely in valve's interest to keep it functional even if it's not for the money. now more than ever too, since their new game approaches, and you bet your ass it will be like "from the people who gave you -tf2- comes DEADLOCK"
New strategy to incentivize Valve: for every bot steam account they ban, that’s another $5 the bot hosters have to pay Valve to get another premium account. Free money, the only language Valve can understand!
@@baguettetheweirdguy2529 you can't. The 2 cent items the store shows are all from the community market, and those don't count. You can upgrade for cheap though, things like a tour ticket are 0.99 (that's also why i don't buy that valve did this for the money, since upgrading can be done with any cheap thing, like seirously, this whole conspiracy for just a dolar? come on lol. we all know the game lives from whales, and that monetarily it means very little to valve that a random will spend 99 cents to get vc)
Just realized that TF2 players who buys hats and keys in A.D.2024 are no different from cashcows in WoW and FFXIV. But hey if they want to carry on being beaten housewives for Valve and wasting their cash on " _The World's Biggest Hat Collecting Simulator!!_ " all the power to them.
i don't know about all this doom you guys are talking about. i started in 2023 from zero and i've enjoyed every minute. it sucked to get kicked for no reason, but one google search and one mann co key fixed that. i don't have anything to criticize this game for, it's a lot of fun, and even though i'm not from america, i never have issues finding servers for any map at almost any hour (the worst that will happen is trying to queue for a misc category at 4 am on a weekday lol, and even then, it will just throw me in to a virginia server and i never get lag, the ping is stable even in those cases) from a life full of pc gaming since day one (yes, i was born holding a mouse, don't question it), the only thing that sucks is the doomers and the negative attitude no matter the sub-bubble of tf2 we are talking about, but do you think it's any different than any other online game? hell no lol, it's almost sunny compared to the state of the community in dead by daylight. and no matter the game, you can take any complaints and switch the name when the game get's mentioned, and it will still make sense lol, let's be real, online gaming communities suck lol, they are only cute for like five days when a game is the brandest of new. personally, i would have never even give a vote to anyone in the first place, and automatic scramble should still be a thing. but oh well. (you think i trust any community, tf2 or any other game, to be kind and not petty bitches and asses? lol. if you play games, you know gamers are assholes and have main protagonist syndrome, yet they'll cry about anything on reddit, youtube, etc, pls, some realism here. Now, not taking better care of bots back at the peak of the issue? absolute valve's fault. but also, i don't care that there aren't any new "meaningful" updates, a game this old is obviously approaching maintenance mode, and that's ok. so long as we can still log in, the game will still be played and loved even if it's not at it's peak of popularity. very few games get to actually thrive for as long, league of legends and dota are notable exceptions here. new games will always come, and some require a big time commitment, so people will move from one to another they just can't play everything. and it's ok, despite tf2 being great, it's had more than enough time to shine and influence in the gaming sphere, and it's ok if other games overshadow it. And i don't know if your views changed after the bot fix, but for me, since then, it's been something like 300 hours without a single bot, at all. so yeah, it isn't all doom and gloom
I disagree with your conclusion about meet your match being the source of the issue, but I am very happy that someone finally said something about the problems plaguing F2Ps. I haven't been able to recommend this game to any of my friends in good faith because I know that not only will they face bots, but they'll face the inability to use basic functions of the base game.
no. the community market doesn't count. the items have to be from the in-game store, and not those that redirect you from the game client to the steam community market. It's still cheap to get, the cheapest items, like a tour ticket for mann up, are 0.99. so just below a dolar. the whole "pay for voice chat" thing is definitely not for money- 99 cents is peanuts for a company like valve, on a game as small as tf2 in comparison to their real money makers like CS. It may have been a bad decission, but it's not for the money, it really is more likely to be a failed attempt at moderating....that's it. there's no need to overcomplicate the explanation
I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but yes those free to plays, twitch streamers, and v tubers deserve no rights. Hell they deserve to be segregated. If we keep letting them play with normal players it will create a "gamer jungle" almighty valve is looking out for the right Mann.
Ok, I get all of this and agree, this is why I play exclusively on community servers even if it isn't fully vanilla TF2, it's at least a playable game unlike in Casual mode. However, this is 30 minutes of complaining with no substance. I won't complaing about complainers, that's just crying over spilt milk, but I will say that I don't understand it. Nobody really achieved anything by complaining, action has to be taken, yet all of these videos I see about "the state of TF2" is all talking about how bad the game has become relative to when it was relatively fresh and Valve made good updates. But, there is no constructiveness in it; nobody is giving ideas on what to do, the best we got was SaveTF2, which was too pacifist to do much even if it was wholesome at the very least. Just people complaining and complaining without much constructive criticism. To some degree, I get it, it's been nearly a decade and this shit is still going on; but I would rather either focus on the fun I do have playing TF2, or give ideas on how to improve it, even if it's unlikely for anything to change. I think Valve does at least owe us a proper video game, something that-- y'know-- functions as it's meant to. But to just whine without thinking about "Hm, well how would we go about doing that?" and formulating some kind of informed opinion instead of seeing bots and crying would lead to a lot more understanding if not proper change. Let's encourage Valve to hire more people for TF2. Perform a boycott of crates and cosmetics, a new SaveTF2, but not one where we just say "pretty please" and nothing else. Let's find trained people in cyber security or source game making and encourage them to try and get into Valve, let's encourage Eric Smith to speak out about TF2. Let's get interviews going-- there are things we can do, maybe it would all amount to nothing, but it would be a lot better than just getting angry over and over for the next several years, repeating the cycle. Let's try something new, do something bigger and better, make more informed decisions and be constructive with how we try to improve the game. It's possible. But spitting foam from our frothing rage-filled mouths at our monitors accomplishes nothing.
@@dompan9169 Doesn't make complaining a better option. We just try again, this time spice it up in some way. Even if it amounts to nothing, there's still a better chance of something being done by being constructive and coming up with ideas, rather than just feeling bad and swearing into a mic to validate yourself and others for feeling bad. I get why people do it, but it doesn't accomplish anything, just perpetuates a negativity further into an already negative situation.
"I won't complaining about complainers", proceeds to type out paragraph complaining about someone complaining Funny. Listen man. If you think that expressing frustration over a game, which once was the best multiplayer game ever made turning into irredeemable shit is unwarranted after years of neglect and obvious disdain from the devs, then i don't know what to tell you. Ok, you're very cool, calm and collected. I'm not. I'm angry. I have the right to be angry. And i will continue being angry. Your "constructive and informed decisions" have brought great progress in the last 7 years. Blow me.
@@GODber777 I never said it was unwarranted, I completely understand the hatred and spite, and to a large degree, I am the same way. I hate the current state of TF2. I despise bots and bot hosters; watching that one bideo where a guy got impersonated by bots just for calling out the hoster made me so beyond pissed, because that is such a massive "fuck you" that they can't do anything about. It sucks. Casual is in ruin. Valve is profiting off of an unkempt game. And it feels like such a let down after years of good updates and obvious care from the devs, just to be met with sudden silence and neglect. It sucks. I don't agree with Valve. All that. I get salty, too. The point I was making is that this bit about complaining just perpetuates negativity down further. Bot hosters are hateful, so they make bots. People affected by bots get hateful, and some start to spread it around. That makes people outside TF2 feel disdain. It's an awful snowball of negativity and it won't end by continuing to express that hate. There needs to be SOME way to direct that hate; that motivation against shitty awful individuals and a neglectful greedy company; into some kind of actual push for improvement. Even if it's just ideas or theoreticals, it does a lot more good than getting mad and using that anger to just make other people feel angry with you. It just makes EVERYONE feel hatred, instead of creating any kind of worthwhile change. Again, salt and hatred to this situation isn't all bad. Complaining isn't, either. I complain a lot, too, because this shut suuucks. But, I'm just saying that that does nothing in the long-run, and if we want something to actually happen, we need to redirect those complaints into ideas for what we can do to actually do some shit, even if it takes years and luck. It's more worthwhile than just feeling bad, and crying over spilt milk.

Lets not forget that they are now flooding the game file size with maps.

I miss being able to type whatever map no matter how niche into the community server search bar and find just a normal vanilla game running that map
He would get destroyed, but at least he would be able to play against real people.
nah, i think he can still play in community servers
casual is perfectly fine, or at least it has been for some months now....let him play casual, it's been like 300 hours since the "fix" and i counted zero bots. zip, zero, nada. unless you meant the other issues with the vote system? just get him a key, come on, it's your brother and it's only two dolars. and disable voice chat by default if you are concerned about insults maybe?
Valve created voter disenfranchisement and people cheered
I also still have a person on my friends list who gave me a cloak and dagger back in 2012 when I started playing cause it was a real nice gesture that really stuck with me. Good times.

"But Mr. Botha, I haven't seen a single F2P since I entered this server..."
Me and my younger cousin play this game all the time but almost every map we join is bots and this could be easily fixed by this multibillion dollar company
Gabber is spitting out facts. This is why we need RUclipsrs like you.
To these situations*
Obviously, they won't revert it. It brings them money. By muting f2p they bring money to call for medic. So yeah. They probably won't do anything about it.
I like the way you don't say your v's

(and yes, i know that you can just buy a key and upgraded, but i'm making a point here)
Even if you get premium thanks to a friend(like in my case)

I don't even know if Valve cares about TF2's income. The more recent Valve always goes nuclear, either lazyness or lack of competence.
If they do dislike earning less from TF2 then they will do something. But I fear that they just don't really care and just turn off the lights.
And yet, maybe a reaction is worth more than relying on the whales for the status quo bias we might have gotten used to, with the slight sliver of hope that heavy might be reworked or something.
i mean, tf2 does bring a lot of money, but it's, as a whole, not a huge chunk of valve's revenue as a company. i'm not saying that they don't care about the money it makes, but that it mostly is a passive corner of income for them. if it stopped tomorrow, it wouldn't be great, but they'll be over it the next day, literally
its crazy that as im watching this video im playing tf2 and i look over at the screen and the same bot plaguing his game was also in my game

Then again, just add quickplay back
I’m confused cuz I bought the valve pack my tf2 is still muted but I can call votes and vote in them
I bought premium upgrade for an f2p and he had the same problem.

You can get premium for 2 cents lmao
@@baguettetheweirdguy2529 you can't. The 2 cent items the store shows are all from the community market, and those don't count.
You can upgrade for cheap though, things like a tour ticket are 0.99 (that's also why i don't buy that valve did this for the money, since upgrading can be done with any cheap thing, like seirously, this whole conspiracy for just a dolar? come on lol. we all know the game lives from whales, and that monetarily it means very little to valve that a random will spend 99 cents to get vc)
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh gem alert
Good rant as per usual, keep it up hoss
Just realized that TF2 players who buys hats and keys in A.D.2024 are no different from cashcows in WoW and FFXIV. But hey if they want to carry on being beaten housewives for Valve and wasting their cash on " _The World's Biggest Hat Collecting Simulator!!_ " all the power to them.
i don't know about all this doom you guys are talking about. i started in 2023 from zero and i've enjoyed every minute. it sucked to get kicked for no reason, but one google search and one mann co key fixed that. i don't have anything to criticize this game for, it's a lot of fun, and even though i'm not from america, i never have issues finding servers for any map at almost any hour (the worst that will happen is trying to queue for a misc category at 4 am on a weekday lol, and even then, it will just throw me in to a virginia server and i never get lag, the ping is stable even in those cases)
from a life full of pc gaming since day one (yes, i was born holding a mouse, don't question it), the only thing that sucks is the doomers and the negative attitude no matter the sub-bubble of tf2 we are talking about, but do you think it's any different than any other online game? hell no lol, it's almost sunny compared to the state of the community in dead by daylight. and no matter the game, you can take any complaints and switch the name when the game get's mentioned, and it will still make sense lol, let's be real, online gaming communities suck lol, they are only cute for like five days when a game is the brandest of new.
personally, i would have never even give a vote to anyone in the first place, and automatic scramble should still be a thing. but oh well.
And i don't know if your views changed after the bot fix, but for me, since then, it's been something like 300 hours without a single bot, at all. so yeah, it isn't all doom and gloom

no. the community market doesn't count. the items have to be from the in-game store, and not those that redirect you from the game client to the steam community market.

We tried constructive criticism. Valve didn’t give a shit.
"I won't complaining about complainers",
proceeds to type out paragraph complaining about someone complaining
Funny.
