The more I think about it there are some really good tips in this video. I like how TJ encourages people to think about the way they train rather than just mash the bags. After this video I noticed, when I tire my footwork and punch technique drop massively. Also, when I'm feeling good, I expend too much energy and telegraph too much. Stuff I have always probably done but now I'm more aware can put it right. Thanks for the video

I am on the fence between Reyes, Phenom, and Rival and don’t know if I should get heavy bag mitts or heavy bag gloves.
Btw your videos are priceless and have helped me quite a bit.
As a side note, a lot of what you show as “boxing” also has been used in martial arts, especially southern Kung fu styles, especially the footwork.

    Hey, i have a question
i do kickboxing for around 7-8 months
We usually do sparring on fridays, however my coach adds a bit of sparring EVERY training
4-5x a week, however on days other than fridays its like 3-4 1 minute rounds,
the thing is, i feel like every single time there is sparring ( fridays or other days)
everyone goes rather hard, and i know u said a lot of hard sparring isnt good,
however, i have never had headaches after them, we use huge gloves and wear headgear...
so my question is, as long as i dont have any visible damage as well as never have headaches etc.
is it good to go? and im over exaggerating? Also, my gym isnt the biggest, we have like 10 people
that attend regurarly, maybe like 30 overall, but there is like 10 people at max a session, despite it not
being the biggest, its not a mcdojo as it is nortmally quallified for things like K1, we also
shit on other 2-3 gyms in a local tournament haha ( i got 2nd place, my opponent was alrdy
a few times in national championships training for 2 years, i was after 6 months, first competition
but it was really close tbf, he won by very little points. Many people from my city said that my coach
used to be an amazing boxer and was known, however online there isnt much info about him, 45+ years old
maybe bcs internet wasnt really a thing back then so there isnt much info?
    what do you think?

Hey, I'm trying to find a free-standing punching bag that doesn't hang from the ceiling. This is because I want to train at my home, but hanging from the ceiling would take up too much space. Do you know where I can find a really good one? Most of the ones I've found don't seem to hold up well against really strong punches. I mean, I could search on Amazon and get the first one, but you should know where to find better ones. Ty!
