- In this tutorial tutorial I demonstrate how to make a simple paracord wrap.
The wrap is done with half knots, alternating the tying onto the front and back side. We finish the wrap with a reef knot.
The knot is also known as ABoK 3458.
Enjoy the tutorial!

This is why I tell people if you can tie your shoes, you can Paracord.
This is such a stupidly easy wrap and it's both beautiful and effective.
And you'd be surprised, some people wouldn't even be able to do this. I tell people to do an overhand knot, and they look at me with eyes glazed over like I just spoke in hieroglyphics. No matter how simple you think a knot is, there will be some people who legit do not understand it.
Thanks for this, very simple and straight to the point.👍
Nice I'm working on a hatchet right now I'm going to wrap part of the handle with leather great idea
Great video 🎉
Thank you for the easy to understand video short; I can’t wait to add a paracord grip on my hiking staff using this method.
Very helpful! Thank you! 😁
You are welcome!
I use a very similar wrap on all my stuff. The only difference is I tie two times on each side instead of one. Always left over right. Very worthy wrap.
Always left over right turn over left over right turn over left over right
That pole reminds me of hight school graduation
Nice !
How do you finish it off? Secure the last knot please? 🪢
Is it ok to pass the right side of the rope over the left when the overhand knot ?
hello
Is this the same as going over and under except you kept turning the stick up and down each time?
Very cool how do you work out how much cord you need plz
To determine the length of the rope, it is necessary to measure the width of the covered object, on which the lynch garrote will be applied. The length of the rope should be several centimeters longer to ensure sufficient freedom of movement.
Song? I get 3 different results from Shazam and they all use this same backing track to remix. What’s the original?
