Curious what type of white tape you’re using there.

Are you only using the small sections of double sided tape to get the grip to stick? What about the other parts? Does the grip stay on because of the tension? The website suggests a thin layer of regular gorilla glue.

I personally use small double side tape sections. The rest is held by the grip tension. There are probably other ways to grip goat... but this is mine ;-)

Where can I find the grips? I was told tennis/baseball bat grips. I'm trying to learn to build from scratch, for cheap. Or would I be better off buying one?

Hi there. Sorry for the late response. You can find Goat grip at Flowbonacci shop. Indeed Goat grip is more expensive than other grips... but its durability is unbeatable. I gripped the carbon pole I am using for fire in january 2018... And the grip is still good.

Does goat grip works better than Silikon? Is it useful for firetools?

Goat Grip is from my humble POV the best compromise at the moment. Its structured surface is working way better than silicone under sweaty conditions. And It can be use for fire props.
