For the timing question: What would you say for like young adults (14) who have split parents? I go to my dad for a week at a time vise versa. I already told my dad tho that i would obviously stay longer now since I would have a rabbit. He also agreed to feed my rabbit when I am not there. But what would you say for situations like this? I have everything else in order, but this is my only issue kinda.
@@faithrodriguez5695 i feel like it could definitely work if your dad is ok to be able to bond with the rabbit or even if you got 2 so it could have a friend while your away? But I don’t think taking it from your mum to your dads each week would be a smart idea it could stress out the bunny changing habitats each week
Thanks for keeping this episode REAL. I had a dog and cat before I got my rabbit. And instead of them trying to attack my rabbit, the dog is fine with him and will just smell him. But my rabbit and my cat are like best friends🤣 They love running around the house together.
My 6-yr-old free roam bunny fell in love with my 15-yr-old dog. She followed her in every direction, wanted to be with her at all times. But a year ago our dog sadly passed away due to her old age which we all are still grieving deeply. After that though time my friend contacted me and asked if their neutered boy bunny could come to live with us due to her husbands and sons allergies. So fast forward to this day: my two bunnies are now in love, happily living their best life in our moderate size apartment. ❤️ I am still grieving for my dog, but I am so glad that my baby girl got a new friend after she was quite frankly depressed after her doggy friend crossed the rainbow bridge. ❤️
I got my bunny impulsively. Well I was looking for a small companion animal. She’s a happy bunny now, no cage, litter trained, she was abused by a child in the previous family so I never pick her up. I train her to be comfortable around me for now and we’re making a great progress. She’s sitting on my lap and follows me everywhere. It’s only been 2 weeks

I made the mistake in high school of getting a bunny, and when I moved away during college, my parents had to keep him, and I always felt bad about that. Fairly new bunny owner here. I got mine at the beginning of February. I had already planned on getting them (I have one doe and one buck, both a few months old) spayed and neutered. I found my bunny vet on the house rabbit society list of recommended veterinarians. I anticipated the cost for hay, food, toys, bedding, as well as clean up a few times a week. I anticipated potential chewing to cause damage to my home and the items I own. Something I didn't anticipate was malocclusion in my Netherland dwarf (This is my fault, as I researched potential illnesses and issues across all bunny breeds, but not specifically for my ND). So on top of a $179 neuter, and a $329 spay, I'm also going to be paying $600 on Friday for a complete front incisor extraction. Otherwise I would have to pay $30 to $90 every 3 to 4 weeks to have his teeth trimmed. I'm not saying this because I want sympathy. I'm just sharing because I want people to be aware of what they get into. you can get an animal for really cheap, but be sure you also create space within your finances and your emotional and mental capacity to be able to handle what responsibilities come with that animal. All of my animals are mine for life. I don't plan on rehoming them because of illnesses or behavioral issues.

I Free roam my rabbit In my room and I bring him around the house with me I also have a kitten that I rescued and they absolutely love each other I take them on walks together and I didn’t really rescue my rabbit but I consider that I might have because I got Him at our local fair and I just felt so bad his eyes were all crusty and it was a wire cage and his feet were hurting so bad on the wire so I knew I had to take it my dad would’ve never let me but I finally insisted and my mom finally let me get him and you and Cinnabon has really taught me a lot on how to take better care of my rabbit thank you ❤
I really want a rabbit but I have school 5 days out of 7 but my mom and sometimes my dad stay at home for work so is that ok and good for a potential rabbit pet? I also have one cat but she is terrified of everything and was not the dominant cat when I still had 2, she can't even hunt she just runs away so I don't think it will be an issue, in fact the bunny will probably become dominant ngl.
Mine only chews hay. For now. I think she didn’t have unlimited hay where she used to live. She was underweight, slowly gaining weight now. So she’s obsessed with hay. I got her different kinds too Oxbow brand, she loves it. Timothy hay mostly but I spoil her and mix in some other
Hi guys! I am going to buy a bunny next year, but need some advice. How do you guys deal with if you need to go on a weekend trip? This wouldn't be something that would be happening often; maybe every other month, but I want to make sure I understand everything about my lifestyle and caring for a rabbit before I bring it into my life. Thanks!
hi morgan! i would love a video about the pros and cons of having a single rabbit!! i've had my bun for almost 2 years and shes super happy but i wonder if i'm doing something wrong by not getting her a partner. since CB is also a solo bunny, i would love to hear your thoughts on this!!!
If not spayed and neutered they will reproduce very quickly. Female rabbits can carry 2 pregnancies at once, can immediately become pregnant after giving birth and they only gestate for around 30-35 days. And within 3 or 4 months of birth those babies will probably mate with each other.
This is a great video, these are the things people need to think about before getting a pet. I wish more animal youtubers would talk about these things, then less animals would end up in shelters. I have wanted a pet for a long time but haven't gotten one because of finances. It's not fair to the animal to not do things for them just because you do not have the money.
my bunny loves sleeping with my two cats lulu and snowball and also loves my dog who is around 90 pounds they all love each other my bunny has to sleep with my dog everynight and misses when my dog when i take her to doggie day care
Do you have a resource to reference for approximate costs for spaying/neutering and how much per month should be set aside? Do bunnies need monthly preventative medication the way dogs need heart worm medication? Thank you 🙏
My mum got me a bunny when i was a young child and I didnt know what needs they need, I am 15 now and have cats but im trying to convince my mum to finally let me get a xpen (i do let him out a lot) hes deaf too and doesnt chew anything at all hes a sweet soul I love him the only thing is that my cat is mine and sleeps in my room every night and I cant kick him out but anything for my little bunny boy (hes a dwarf too so hes tiny) I am hoping to get a job as soon as I finish my exams soon and be able to buy loads of things for him :)

I want a rabbit. I have a cat right now, but she’s very quiet and gentle. She doesn’t like to play with cat toys when you dangle them in front of her. She doesn’t seem to have many hunting instincts and she never gets aggressive. I think if I introduced a bunny to her properly, and they had proper supervision (and bunny stays in their room when I’m not home) it would be fine.
hello! i need some advice because i do have school but i come home right after and don't have any activities. i stay home mostly other than going to school. 7:15 to 8:30 do you recommend me getting a bunny?
I want to get a bunny when I move out on my own but when I move out after college i’m going to be a nurse working 3-4 days a week doing 12 hour shifts. My question is will this still be a moderately suitable life for a rabbit with me being home for 3-4 days a week and working 12 hours, 3-4 days a week?
hi I love your videos, can you please make a future video that goes in-depth about where to put your rabbit and where its home base should be once they are free roamed, or even when they are not, if you can't make this happen I understand but it would be really helpful if you could
I really would like to foster a bun to see how I kinda do with taking care of it and if it works out. And also just to help out the shelter too, yah know? But other than that i think i would do great. I don't plan on going to college at all and when I move out of my moms I am DEFINITELY taking the bunny with me.... I would never trust my mom with a rabbit.... I know WAYYYYYY more about buns than she does lmao. My sister did leave her bunny with our mom when SHE moved out and it was not good 😬.....never ever would I do that
I didn't really have an option about getting "my" rabbit. Because I am fostering my younger sisters rabbit while she is in another country for 5 months. We had a motherless rabbit so I stepped up because Bambi needed me.
I've always wantedd a bunny, and since now I am homeschooled in high school, I feel like this is the perfect time for me to get a bunny because i am home all day. However, I don't have a job yet and I don't know if I could pay for emergencies if my bunny gets sick. I guess the best thing to do is wait until I get a job to get a bunny :) and I do have a dog, but my dog is a huge scaredy cat and I feel like my dog would be more scared of a bunny 😂 but this video really helped. Thanks!!!!
Since you are a bunny excpert, can i train a 8 week old bunny good enough were it dosent have to be spaded/neuterd (i dont know if i spelt that right lol) ?????
No, you cannot “teach” a bunny not to spray, or fight, or not use the litter box, or search for mates, etc. Those are all natural and instinctive behaviors that all intact bunnies will do until they are fixed. Trust me don’t get a bunny thinking it won’t be that bad if u can’t get it fixed. However, if u think you can’t pay for the procedure adopting a rabbit from a rescue is going to be your best bet. One rescue near me adopts out bunnies that they have already altered for $35, so it doesn’t have to be expensive.
I would like to ask how you take care of your buns teeth. I know mini lops can have issues with their teeth, have you found this and do you have to take him to the vet often to keep on top of this? I was thinking of getting a mini lop but I worry about Missing a problem with their teeth or having to go to the vet quite often. Any advice would be great! Thanks and Love the show

I live with divorced parents and the spilt is equal per week, the longest I'd be away is 5 days. My dad is offering to get me a rabbit, so if I do end up getting one would it be fine to go back and fourth or should I leave it in one location with my dad taking care of it when I'm gone?
What if my family already bought and has a cat but the cats space is the basment and the bunny would be mine in my room and i know how that sounds but i have a large room that can have 3 queen beds in the room thats the amount of space the bunny would have to run around
Hi! I love bunnies and I want to get one sooooo bad, I have a nice big room for it to Rome around in, and I want to get a cage, that he can sleep in or do whatever in, whenever he wants, the cage will be open so he can leave/enter it as he pleases. My one issue is that I have carpet floor jn my room, is that a bad idea to free roam it? Will it pee/poop everywhere?
I have a question! I’d love a bunny and have the space for it but I kinda work a lot. I work 50 hrs a week- 5days a week. Would he be sad if he didn’t have a bunny friend while i’m gone or will he be fine? I really only want one but i wouldn’t want him to be miserable while my partner and i r away?
I have chinchillas that would probably be in the same room if u got a bunny but I’m not sure if it would work so if you could answer the would be a life saver
I want a bunny but i have furniture that i dont wanna get ruined and cords that i cant put anywhere else but can i just put them in an x-pen? Well not really a pen cause i am just gonna gate up a space and that space is not the biggest but its half of my room can i still get a bunny?

eeeek thanks!
Super super helpful. I plan to get a Flemish giant because he has an entiree back yard he can run through, and stay and free roam in my bedroom.
My rabbit doesn’t chew anything rather than hay or her toys. I got lucky!!!
was there anything you did beforehand to deter her?
I will love her and I will do everything to make her happy as long as I can. And if I can't I already made sure that there are people to do that if I can't
You're my fav bun ytber because my bun has changed SO much from your tips! I started giving him (hoppers) oxbow digestive biscuits and it helps him so much! I ordered my forage mix by bun mom makes and and it arrived yesterday. You're a true dream bun mom and so nice! Thank you so much!! P.S. Can you think about making a "reacting to my subscribers bun habitats?" Thanks! 💗🐰
Thanks so so much for saying that!
your channel is soo much more descriptive and helpful.....loving it
this is a very good series you made!! I hope every future bunny owner watch it first. Keep up the good work :)
I Free roam my rabbit In my room and I bring him around the house with me I also have a kitten that I rescued and they absolutely love each other I take them on walks together and I didn’t really rescue my rabbit but I consider that I might have because I got Him at our local fair and I just felt so bad his eyes were all crusty and it was a wire cage and his feet were hurting so bad on the wire so I knew I had to take it my dad would’ve never let me but I finally insisted and my mom finally let me get him and you and Cinnabon has really taught me a lot on how to take better care of my rabbit thank you ❤
Health insurance (Nationwide) and Pet Assure (for wellness & preventative care) really helps w vet bills! 🐾 🐰
A year ago my rabbit died :( but I’m going to try again this Friday! I’m going to get a black and white dwarf Holland lop bunny!
Omg how exciting!
Thank you so much I want to get a bunny but I had to make sure i was ready for it first.
This was a great video. Very thoughtful and well made. :)
I literally adopted a new bunny on Monday......for my other free Rome bunny as a friend (they are in the bonding process)
my rabbit is coming tmrw your channel has helped me so much!
I'm so glad I came across this video ... I would love to have a bunny but my boyfriend has a Husky and I'm afraid he might try to eat it 😒
These are just some of the questions I ask myself. Great channel by the way.
Fluffy chew monster is accurate.
so true
Mine only chews hay. For now. I think she didn’t have unlimited hay where she used to live. She was underweight, slowly gaining weight now. So she’s obsessed with hay. I got her different kinds too Oxbow brand, she loves it. Timothy hay mostly but I spoil her and mix in some other
@@pokerqAK47 I have 3 different types of hay and he still loves to sink his teeth into everything he doesn’t know.
I’m getting a bunny today I had a bunny when i was a child and I’m so exited
I HAVE 10 PETS BUT NO BUNNY
😂😂SORRY I LOVE BUNNIES😂😂
BUT……..I MIGHT GET ONE SOON YAY❤❤❤
Thanks!
I have a family member take care of my rabbits if I'm gone :) best to have at least one reliable person
heyy! i was wondering if its a must have to get your rabbit spayed/neutered.
hi morgan! i would love a video about the pros and cons of having a single rabbit!! i've had my bun for almost 2 years and shes super happy but i wonder if i'm doing something wrong by not getting her a partner. since CB is also a solo bunny, i would love to hear your thoughts on this!!!
what happen if I have a female lionloop and male angora together, do they breed? (produce babies)
If not spayed and neutered they will reproduce very quickly. Female rabbits can carry 2 pregnancies at once, can immediately become pregnant after giving birth and they only gestate for around 30-35 days. And within 3 or 4 months of birth those babies will probably mate with each other.
Hey cinnabun I will be getting a holand lop soon. Thanks for the videos they are so helpful
Thank you for this, it was super helpful.
Thank you for this video. Very helpful.
This is a great video, these are the things people need to think about before getting a pet. I wish more animal youtubers would talk about these things, then less animals would end up in shelters. I have wanted a pet for a long time but haven't gotten one because of finances. It's not fair to the animal to not do things for them just because you do not have the money.
hehe, i started sing happy birthday to cinnabun when you said its their birthday :))))
my bunny loves sleeping with my two cats lulu and snowball and also loves my dog who is around 90 pounds they all love each other my bunny has to sleep with my dog everynight and misses when my dog when i take her to doggie day care
Happy late birthday Cinnabun!
I love your channel, you should get more views on it because you seem to be a nice girl and your videos give a kinda of calmness and are so helpful. Lots of love ❤️❤️

Hi should I get a bunny if it’s going to only live on the top floor of my house?
Yes I have 3 chihuahuas and they needed to b introduced slowly 👍 great vids. V helpful info thnku 😊
hello! i need some advice because i do have school but i come home right after and don't have any activities. i stay home mostly other than going to school. 7:15 to 8:30
do you recommend me getting a bunny?
I want to get a bunny when I move out on my own but when I move out after college i’m going to be a nurse working 3-4 days a week doing 12 hour shifts. My question is will this still be a moderately suitable life for a rabbit with me being home for 3-4 days a week and working 12 hours, 3-4 days a week?
This is why im thinking of adopting a senior bunny
hi I love your videos, can you please make a future video that goes in-depth about where to put your rabbit and where its home base should be once they are free roamed, or even when they are not, if you can't make this happen I understand but it would be really helpful if you could
I really would like to foster a bun to see how I kinda do with taking care of it and if it works out.
My friend has a BIG Flemish gaint bunny, Bombay cat and a Rottweiler
Thanks for the tip
Is a xpen good for rabbits
A big one can totally work! Especially if they have some play time outside of it too :)
@@ivyseibold3636 ok thank you!
I would like to ask how you take care of your buns teeth. I know mini lops can have issues with their teeth, have you found this and do you have to take him to the vet often to keep on top of this? I was thinking of getting a mini lop but I worry about
Missing a problem with their teeth or having to go to the vet quite often. Any advice would be great! Thanks and Love the show
I suggest coarse (first or second cut) Timothy or coarse orchard hay. Minimal amount of pellets, I give 1 tablespoon a day. - @monetbun
The more your bunny chews, the more it wears it's teeth down so you should feed mostly hay/grass, herbs, leafy greens and twigs.
just decided I want a rabbit. started learning about them. Ive learned so much, but most importantly, Ive learned that all the bunny girlies are gorgeous😍 certified baddies every single one lol how?
I live with divorced parents and the spilt is equal per week, the longest I'd be away is 5 days. My dad is offering to get me a rabbit, so if I do end up getting one would it be fine to go back and fourth or should I leave it in one location with my dad taking care of it when I'm gone?
What if my family already bought and has a cat but the cats space is the basment and the bunny would be mine in my room and i know how that sounds but i have a large room that can have 3 queen beds in the room thats the amount of space the bunny would have to run around
I think you can use an exercise pin that is better than a cage
Patron Saint of Bunnies 🙏🏽❤️
Id love a vidio on bringing your rabbit home

I have chinchillas that would probably be in the same room if u got a bunny but I’m not sure if it would work so if you could answer the would be a life saver
I am away for a bit but my mother always spends some time with it
What if we have some dwarfs and get an enclosure 4 them so the duo has space to play
Please make a video on how do I clean my bunny’s paws
My bunny will literally climb on top of my dog. They are like siblings
I want a bunny but i have furniture that i dont wanna get ruined and cords that i cant put anywhere else but can i just put them in an x-pen? Well not really a pen cause i am just gonna gate up a space and that space is not the biggest but its half of my room can i still get a bunny?
