I’ve loved this mini series thing it’s very helpful for new rabbit owners to know proper care! Idk, is it a bunny diet? I’m really not sure (I’m terrible at guessing 😂).
A great tip at picking a bunny when you are at a shelter or rescue location is to see which bunnies are poking their nose through the bars to get pets when you walk by. I almost took home a bunny that was ignoring me and didn’t even want me to pet him, and I found That she wanted pets and put her nose through the bars and she let me pet her right away so I knew that she was the one. She has been letting me pet her since the night I brought her home and we’ve only spent three days together so far. She is The perfect personality, very loving and social. So I think you can find the personality that’s going to suit you right away if you try petting bunnies, and see which one wants to be social.
My situation is a bit weird cuz "my" bunny is really my sister's bunny which I'm taking care of while she's away for 6 months. So he was already aware of me and I'd help care for him a little bit. But not much really. So him bonding with me happened really quickly. I already knew a lot about him. I knew he liked being pet and where on his body. Hand feeding was a great way for bonding for us. I spent hours just lying on the ground with him. Petting him talking to him. He'll curl up next to me and kiss my nose or forehead. So cute.
It took me about 2 months to bond with my bunny b/c he got sick a week after I had him with sinus infection from hay dust ( with I didn’t know that you need to shake the dust off). I was so worrying about him. Now, he is just happy and love everyone in the family. My bunny is waiting for me at the door every day 😊 I am very happy that we got him in the family.
My bunny died due to a heat stroke. Our bond was so strong and I was heart broken when he passed. I am now getting another bunny! I will be getting it in a month. I am pleased that i have experience. Even though I am very experienced when it comes to bunnys, your video has helped me so so much! thank you x
I've adopted my bunny about a week ago, I found your tips extremely helpful! ❤ He's very confident and curious about everything, often having zoomies and just having fun with his toys. He's got a cage, but it's open 24/7, and he only comes in to use the toilet or eat, other than that he's free to roam the entire room. I'd love to let him explore the rest of the apartment, but it'd be near impossible to get rid of all the cables and dangerous objects around it.
Also, he is very friendly and comes close to sniff and poke me with his nose, but he hates being handled. I made the mistake of petting him on his back, though, as that was the only thing I haven't researched before getting him :')💔
I'll definitely be recommending this video to friends in the future! I think your story of it taking six months to bond really helps show the reality of rabbits; a lot of people I know get impatient when their bunny doesn't bond with them after a couple weeks, some even thought that they'd never bond and wanted to get rid of their bunny because of it. Awesome video once again! :)

It took 3 or so months for our Tina to became truly bonded (it’s been about 10 months since we rescued her from a shelter). I wish I had found your videos before then. I found your potty training video a week ago and she is already doing so much better!!!
My bunny, 10 years ago, loved it when I sung to her. That was so sweet. These videos make me want to have a bunny again, as I loved it so much and my previous bunny lived for such a long time and it was lovely to see her roam around.
My bun was so opposite. She was the exception. We were bonded within two weeks and she demanded to be pet. If she asks to be groomed and you don't do it immediately, she will nip you lol. Not a bite, just a nip. She also won't let me go to the bathroom alone. She's a pain in the butt, but she's also my best friend who I wouldn't trade for the world. This is great channel. You really know your stuff!!! I had no idea it usually took so long for rabbits to bond! Very good to know if I ever have another bun, I can't expect it to bond as quick as Stormy did.
I don't have a bunny--no pets allowed in my building--so I love watching Cinnabun (perfect name for a perfect bunny). Where did you get the black and white bunny pillow on your sofa? Thanks.
Hi great video. I’ve had my bunny 5 years and he still doesn’t like to be handled, so I respect that and just enjoy watching him hop around everywhere. He usually comes when I call him, but he could certainly care less about cuddling. On special occasions, (when he feels like it ) he graces us with a head bow and let’s us pet him but quickly shakes it off and cleans himself lol!!! He’s usually where he can see me and flops down near me most times, so maybe this is his way of bonding and I’m ok with that 😊🎉
This really helped. We just got a bunny 2 days ago and I have 3 kids and definitely been tough to teach them to leave the bunny alone but it’s been getting better 😆
At first, we adopted Fluffy, for a family member but we were the ones that picked him up and all, and Fluffy instantly trusted me and wanted to be in my arms. We cuddled and played together that first day. Fast forward, Fluffy came home. I gave him the time and space to get used to the environment and to his new family and I would keep my distance at the same time as much as possible, and not force things on him. He took his time but now he fully trusts us and he’s the cuddliest baby. But like all animals, it takes time and patience. And love above all. He now runs around the house freely, and knows his spots as well. This video was so informative and helpful. 💜
My first bunny we bonded instantly she loves pets and would lick my face all over and come running whenever I went over to her pen she was so sweet she passed getting spayed have adopted 2 bonded buns and had them a month and they’re still a little bit wary of me really shows how different every bun is
You’re so pretty!! ☺️omg! My boyfriend and I just got a Holland lop bun a week ago and he is only 2 months old 🥺💖 we named him puddles and while he lets us hold him he’s pretty skittish and hyper, so I hope this helps him settle down overtime so he can come to me and snuggle up with a movie 🥰 I’m giving him a lot of patience though since he’s a bun 🐰
This is going to help me so much Because I'm getting a Bunny on April the 6th 2022. The last time I had a Bunny was when I was around 3 and now I'm turning 10!!!! I'm so excited I subscribed Because you could help me alot thanks soo much bye!!
My 1st bunny who was quite unsocialized and confined to a cage was the most nonterritorial, social and a brave boy. All he wanted was to be loved and didn't care who you were, if you had hands he demanded pets. He was very broccoli motivated and had zero brain cells, but I loved him dearly. My mom also thought it was odd for him to be so social and brave with his neglectful past. He loved walking in our backyard (in a harness), he loved cuddles, he loved pets, he loved broccoli and especially just loved being around people. I adored that little rabbit and it upsets me a lot that his orginal owner just threw him in a cage and wondered why he was always thumping, he was bored and wanted out. My aunt was his 2nd owner and she did try but with little knowledge unintentionally neglected him. After I watched him for her during her honeymoon in 2017 she decided to give me him. I always thanked her for giving me such a sweet bun, and when he developed kidney disease last year it broke my heart. Over the 3 years I had him he unintentionally became an ESA, so when he had to be euthanized I dissociated really bad. I hadn't felt that level of grief sense my Nana passed away back in 2007. I always believed in a way that he was my Nana, so his death completely tore my heart into pieces again.
You’ve been helping me bond with my rabbit’s I got one year ago! I always thought it was sooo hard, but I was wrong and already got the basics done. Just need to work on trust a bit!
These videos are really helpful for me as I have a bunny family with a mom, a dad, and 4 babies about 2 weeks old. The mom is really feisty so I have been trying to bond with her as much as possible.
I got a bunny today and her name is “Hasly” and she is so cute!! Thanks for making this video and im always listening to them!! They help sooooo much ty again!!
Mine is a rescue bunny and he started to bond with me and hubby within days. I think he almost loves us now and our bunny jumps up on our bed after bunnies and gives us and our dogs. Shizus goodnight and morning kisses.
I have a baby gate in the door way of there room and when ever they see me they run to the gate to see me and it makes me so happy every time 😁 taking the time to bond is worth it
Love this!! Can u make a video on how to pick up a bunny? My 6 month lop is the SWEETEST and doesn’t mind cuddles, kisses... anything BUT being picked up 😭🤍
I saw where putting the hand under the belly and scooping up the butt swiftly was a technique. I tried it today and it went so much more smoothly than cupping my hands under him! My bunny is very skittish and little so I’m gonna lay off on lifting him for awhile until he’s more comfortable.
Having had (free-roaming) rabbits for over 40 years, I have been taught well how to live with them ... Vida, Bobo and I agree with all you said here and really like your Cinnabun videos. Thanks a zillion for doing this! [I have spent much time of my life lying on the floor with my rabbits ... often acting as a trampoline tool for them :-) ]
im getting a bun tommorow i'v been resarching 4 almost a yr and your channel has been part of my main reasarch so thank u! i cant wait too see how it turns out
The best learning tool is experience, but these videos helped me a LOT before I became a bun mom. If you’ve had a pet before, with patience and attention to detail you’ll be surprised at how amazing owning a rabbit is! It’s the best animal I’ve gotten in my life (I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters and a bearded dragon. Bun is #1)
Your videos are amazing. Thank you. I have been thinking about getting a pet for years and this made me decide on getting a bun. I got Adora, my beautiful mini lop home a month ago and she’s absolutely amazing.
Got my Bunny few days ago and am watching so many videos etc. My bunny isn't spayed or neutered yet because it is so expensive here in Jamaica. Am still trying to potty train her though. On day 2 she allowed me to pot her back and today make day 7 and she is totally use to me. I haven't tried to groom her as yet though so I wonder how she will react to me holding her. Never know I was a bunny lover until I was go through a very depressing time and the idea of adopting a bunny gave me so much comfort. Thanks for sharing.
Great series of bunny videos and very informative. When I was a teenager, I had a wild jack rabbit for a pet who lived in my back yard. he didn't like to be picked up but would let me pet him and hand feed it. He was a very neat rabbit as he always does his business in his corner of the yard. Your videos kind of make me want to get a bunny again.
I watched this video 6mo ago... Never thought that my bunny would act like hers. I have 3 bunnies now... And 2 of them are really spoiled bunnies. They often like to sit on my lap.
My first bunny, I got about 3 years ago now. I had a bunny when I was a kid but didn't really know what he needed. It probably took a good year for him to be fully comfortable with me and come up to me for head rubs. He is just an introvert who wants love on his own terms and it took me a while to recognise his personality and work with him. Just got a second bunny and I'm looking forward to seeing how they are different
I have had my bunny for about 3 months. I wish to be able to bond with her even more, and she loves it when i pet her though :) Btw my bunny name is Hazelnut :)
I just got 2 bunnies today and I can definitely see their personalities already 🥰 my dwarf loves to be pet and is very curious and my flemish giant is very timid so I'm giving her space so she can feel comfortable in my home❤
hi morgan! i would love a video about the pros and cons of having a single rabbit!! i've had my bun for almost 2 years and shes super happy but i wonder if i'm doing something wrong by not getting her a partner. since CB is also a solo bunny, i would love to hear your thoughts on this!!!
You are so so right when you said earning love and trust is right when I get home from work Cleo comes running to see me . I have my work cut out now as bonding Cleo and her husbun and trying to gain his love and trust with me too I wish you had a video on this subject how the 3 of us can become 1 . Anyway keep on posting xx
Love this. My little bunny love is 9 years old and quite sweet. It's nice to see this - it validates a lot of how I've been treating him. Your little bun is beautiful! Good job!!
My bunny is 4 months old. She hides from me. Always under the bed. She knows her name she’s tolerating me too. I want her to like me. I can’t potty train her. I purchased a potty. She started using it and stopped.
I had my girl since she was 9 weeks old. When I first got her, she did pretty much the same thing. However where we lived at the time our space was pretty crammed up for me as an Adult, especially since I had the habit of laying on the floor, particularly while watching tv, but I couldn't, but given my girl plenty of hiding spaces, so she use to hide as well. So what I did I opened up the space, and reduced the hiding spots for her, to only 3, but in those hiding spots I was still in her sight, which became a good thing even to this day. Once I did this, I started to lay on the floor and just watched tv and took my attention away from her, eventually she explored me and her surroundings more, until she started to come closer to me, especially near my face and hands, and I just did slight slow movements with my hands towards her, with out scaring her, eventually she started to let me pet her, and then went to cuddles. It took me about 2 months for her to loosen up and get use to me. When we go out the front yard or visiting, when she goes to "Hide" she makes sure now that I'm in her sight, and I can see her too just, as now she looks to me as her protector. Potty training took about 6 weeks with her, it was challenging at times, what I had to do with my girl was use a treat system, every time she went to her litter box and done her dead, I would give her a treat, eventually she was going with out getting treats, but instead give her some sort of big reward afterwards. As Morgan mentions, every rabbit is different, some will adjust quicker then others, the secret is time and patients, as well as the amount of time you spend with Bun. The more time you spend with them, the more they will relax and get use to you.
Mine didn't leave the cage for months when she 1st came here.... I just do what I want her a few times.... and back off.... he just showed me days later that he is listening. I am in 9 months. He has only just opened the cage door and wanted to come over and sit with me. There so complex but also joy ❤
In a couple of weeks, I’ll be getting two bunnies of my own. We just got rid of my cat of 8 years due to my mother developing an allergy. However, I was promised a pair of these adorable fluff balls to replace her, and while I’m definitely still upset, i look forward to them! So this is incredibly helpful!
Only one episode left in the How To Get a Rabbit series! What do you think it is?

My bunny allowed me to pet her, hand feed and just regular feeding on the second day! But she's only 7 weeks old so she can't exactly climb on me yet
Rabbits are amazing. I am exited every time I go out to see my bunnies. Thanks for the video this will help me.
True, They are amazing 😊
Ok I'm sold I already love this channel Bunnies don't belong in cages :>
I just got my bunny last week on Saturday! her name is Athena and she just gave me her first zoomie its so cuteee
I'm about to get a bunny, I'm going to name him hopscotch. This series is really helping me
I just got a new baby bunny and he LOVES me he’s already bonded to me and I just got him like a week ago
That pillow!! I loooovvveee it!! 😍
Your bunny is very cute and almost everything he does is cute.
I’m getting my bunny tomorrow I’m so excited I’ve had bunnies before but they did not like me or my sister at all. I hope these guys do
I don't have a bunny--no pets allowed in my building--so I love watching Cinnabun (perfect name for a perfect bunny).
You can also check my Videos about rabbit health and many more I hope you will learn more about bunnies.
Just got my bunny today! She’s quite friendly and already lets me pet her from time to time HAHA
I got a female bonded pair. I just got them yesterday. They flopped around me and are eating food from my hands. 🥺🥺😊😊😊
I got my bunny one week ago and we already bonded 🥺 hes starting to flop around me and im just so happy hes happy around me 😎🤍
My first bunny we bonded instantly she loves pets and would lick my face all over and come running whenever I went over to her pen she was so sweet she passed getting spayed have adopted 2 bonded buns and had them a month and they’re still a little bit wary of me really shows how different every bun is
I'm sorry
You’re so pretty!! ☺️omg!
My boyfriend and I just got a Holland lop bun a week ago and he is only 2 months old 🥺💖 we named him puddles and while he lets us hold him he’s pretty skittish and hyper, so I hope this helps him settle down overtime so he can come to me and snuggle up with a movie 🥰 I’m giving him a lot of patience though since he’s a bun 🐰
You and your bunny look amazing together

Off topic- I LOVE YOUR INTROS ❤ They make me smile 😊
Omg ty!
why is this just now showing up on my home page 😭 i've been needing this! definitely gonna turn on my notifications now
My 1st bunny who was quite unsocialized and confined to a cage was the most nonterritorial, social and a brave boy.
Just need to work on trust a bit!
u just got a new suscriber tysm this really is helping me alot
Thank you for a lovely video. Hi Cinnabun!
These videos are really helpful for me as I have a bunny family with a mom, a dad, and 4 babies about 2 weeks old. The mom is really feisty so I have been trying to bond with her as much as possible.
This is helpful because I have a baby bunny so adorable

This is the BEST bonding tutorial I've ever seen! 💗
I got a bunny today and her name is “Hasly” and she is so cute!! Thanks for making this video and im always listening to them!! They help sooooo much ty again!!
Aww thx! I just got a Bunnie he's four months ! Your the best this helps a lot🙌
Mine is a rescue bunny and he started to bond with me and hubby within days. I think he almost loves us now and our bunny jumps up on our bed after bunnies and gives us and our dogs. Shizus goodnight and morning kisses.
After binkies**
I have a baby gate in the door way of there room and when ever they see me they run to the gate to see me and it makes me so happy every time 😁 taking the time to bond is worth it
I got my bunny today and I’m hoping she bonds with me soon !!
Love this!! Can u make a video on how to pick up a bunny? My 6 month lop is the SWEETEST and doesn’t mind cuddles, kisses... anything BUT being picked up 😭🤍
I actually have one :)
Same I have to lure her in her carrier and lift her up with a blanket
I saw where putting the hand under the belly and scooping up the butt swiftly was a technique. I tried it today and it went so much more smoothly than cupping my hands under him! My bunny is very skittish and little so I’m gonna lay off on lifting him for awhile until he’s more comfortable.
love this video, very informative and helpful in caring my bunnies.
I love the way so say" Hello, Buns" HAHA so sassy...
Having had (free-roaming) rabbits for over 40 years, I have been taught well how to live with them ... Vida, Bobo and I agree with all you said here and really like your Cinnabun videos. Thanks a zillion for doing this! [I have spent much time of my life lying on the floor with my rabbits ... often acting as a trampoline tool for them :-) ]
You can also check my Videos about rabbit health and many more I hope you will learn more about bunnies.
im getting a bun tommorow i'v been resarching 4 almost a yr and your channel has been part of my main reasarch so thank u! i cant wait too see how it turns out
Thanks so much for including different sounds. I now know for 100% that my dwarf bunny is actually honking. 😍
I don't have a bunny yet but i really want to get one and I'm trying my best to learn as much as i can so i can be the best bun mom
My only problem is convincing my parents lol
All the best ❤️
The best learning tool is experience, but these videos helped me a LOT before I became a bun mom. If you’ve had a pet before, with patience and attention to detail you’ll be surprised at how amazing owning a rabbit is! It’s the best animal I’ve gotten in my life (I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters and a bearded dragon. Bun is #1)
I'm a brand new bunny owner! I brought home an 8 week old mini rex and I'm so excited. Your video is super helpful! Thank you!! I just subscribed!
I just got two lionhead rabbits and this video really helped me bond with them. Thank you!
Cinnabun is sooooo cute!
my bunny gave birth a month ago and I tried to bond with the little ones with these tips and it worked! ty your video helped a lot!😀😁
I wish to be able to bond with her even more, and she loves it when i pet her though :) Btw my bunny name is Hazelnut :)
this was the most helpful video i’ve seen BY FAR
I just got 2 bunnies today and I can definitely see their personalities already 🥰 my dwarf loves to be pet and is very curious and my flemish giant is very timid so I'm giving her space so she can feel comfortable in my home❤
1:03 is adorable!
hi morgan! i would love a video about the pros and cons of having a single rabbit!! i've had my bun for almost 2 years and shes super happy but i wonder if i'm doing something wrong by not getting her a partner. since CB is also a solo bunny, i would love to hear your thoughts on this!!!
4 months is a hard age. That is when their hormones kick in. Stick with it, and it will get better!
@@SincerelyCinnabun Thank you. I’m trying so hard. I love her.
