I’ve been free roaming for years and I love it! My buns love it too! I love seeing my buns run to the door when I get home and cuddle in bed with me at night. Plus I know they’re getting enough exercise!
Love this! Am getting a rabbit from a rescue tomorrow! He is 2 years old and I can’t wait! I already have a room set up for him to free roam his little heart out! I have done research for years and I am finally ready! Love this video!✨🫶🏻💗🐰
@@amandamoe8034 I gave my bunny half of the living room that has been bunny-proofed so he can explore and run around at his leisure (as well as access to the hallway so he can really get up to speed). This is a choice I made because I wanted to give him as much space as I could while keeping him safe. As long as your bunnies get enough exercise and socilization daily (and are happy), then how you arrange your home is your choice.
We love when you have Cinnabun in your videos - we free roam our two buns. One I rescued from who was free roaming in a neighborhood - she’s a beautiful gray French lop, the other is a Holland lop - he’s a crazy man
Before I saw your postings I had bought many 4x2 ft cages. Soooo much wasted money! Then I progressed to x pins. I bought many small litter trays and finally settled for large 2ftx19in in litter boxes which work so well. I've spent thousands on my bunnies from spaying, neutering and vet bills for an eye infection and in the beginning nail trims. Finally, after 5 yrs I have it all down thanks to you and others who have shared. I started out caring for my daughter's pregnant rabbits and now NO more babies just beautiful healthy happy rabbits. Thank you so much for your help!!!😊
Great video! I’m a faithful customer to small pet select! I love thier products for my two bunnies Midnight and Cocoa! Cinnabon is so beautiful! Her cute little white tail!!
I am obsessed with watching cinnabun in the background. All the while listening to my boy doing his 4am zoomies from my room through the hallway into the lounge and back again. I discovered I'm allergic to timothy hay so I buy orchard grass from a local farmer and do it in bulk by the bale for under $10. I then split the bale with my bestie for her bun as well. But you reminded me I will need to order some more this week. I love these videos you do, helping newbies out, I tend to go local because things like international shipping to the southern hemisphere is not cheap. But one day if I make some extra cash I wanna order a couple of things from small pet select, if the shipping doesn't kill me.
I´m living in Europe and the understanding of a healthy Bunny diet is a little bit different here. Main focus is a leafy diet, containing a variety of salats, kale and fresh meadow herbs. Pellets are known to cause teeth problems and if it contains grains, it can cause digestive problems as well. Hay should always be accessible but not as a main component of their diet. I would love to see more and a variety of greens in Cinnabuns diet especially meadow herbs. The diet you are promoting is too dry and can cause a lot of issues, and your bunny already had some digestive problems.
Pellets (not-mostly-grain, high-quality ones) contain vital micronutrients that you many not be giving them consistently in their greens, unless you map out how much of which type you give and how often in like an excel sheet or something. That said, feeding no pellets is a healthier option than feeding rabbits low-quality pellets, or too many pellets. Hay is a major source of fiber for rabbits, which is necessary for their digestive systems to function. Unless you're, again, mapping out how much fiber is in each part of your mostly-greens diet, they need access to as much hay as they'll eat to be healthy. Not to mention the fact that hay really helps keep their teeth filed down. Greens are definitely important though, and variety (as long as you keep the staples around) is very healthy for them! Kale, however, is not a good example of this. It's not bad to feed rabbits kale occasionally, but feeding it multiple times a week can cause health problems. (Also this isn't diet-related, but considering it's pretty common in Europe to leave pet rabbits outside unsupervised, forgive me for being a little skeptical of the standard of rabbit care over there.)
You shouldn't just say 'I live in Europe and things are different here.' Europe is a MASSIVE continent. And what goes on in France isn't the same as the UK or Spain, for example. Usually it's Americans who say shit like this not people who know better. (Well Americans should know better too but let's not encourage the stupidity, yes?)
Thank you for all the work you do to popularize rabbits' knowledge! In ten minutes or so, this video is a sure bet when in doubt before going out to buy things for the rabbit arriving home for the first time
